Amazing time here with the family, it’s nice to see how busy it was and the staff still smiling and offering a great service! Food was amazing and we were well looked after by the manager and staff. Definitely recommend coming back!

Service was awful under under staffed. Ordered large mixed grill didn't get prawns and only one sheesh kebab. Ordered chicken and lamb curry; lamb curry had hair in it. Wasn't given a discount instead gave me another chicken curry on the house as I said I don't want the lamb dish. Had you tell them I was only paying for a small mix grill as I felt that what I got. Won't be going back again for food as I have drank their with friends who ate local.

Absolutely amazing food! Everyone said their meal was lovely. I don't get why it wasn't packed. I think it maybe to do with the bar is openly connected to the dinning area. I'd suggest you separate that area so dinners have the total food experience away from drinkers playing pool. Food is quality!

Summed up in one word Fantastic .The lamb bhuna was the best I have ever had in Birmingham and the service is second to none ,the manager Vijay and Rachel on the bar and waitress are extremely friendly and helpful .been a few times here and the standard is very consistently excellent. I would highly recommend a visit .....you will not be disappointed

We were passing by and decided to give Summer House a try. We were glad we did! Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Food was good value, tasty and freshly cooked. We had the large mixed grill to share which was lovely. Recommended.

This is an old pub partially converted to a mainly Indian restaurant. I think we must have gone in the wrong entrance because we went through a not particularly appealing bar. Friendly staff pointed us in the direction of the restaurant section round the corner. Decor was nice enough, with a range of tables for parties of different sizes. The top thing here was the level of service, and the reasonable prices. We started with poppadom and dips, the starters were pretty large, and the main courses also generous. I thought all of the courses were very tasty. A bit of kuifi ice cream finished the evening well. There is an outdoor area for good weather, with a play area if children come along. I am definitely heading back there next time I am around.

A very warm, friendly place to enjoy amazing Indian cuisine. We were running late, stuck in traffic (having already pushed back the reservation by half an hour earlier in the day) but the restaurant still accommodated us, despite being 25 minutes past our new time! (We’d called to explain and they said “no problem, don’t worry”). They even had a baby seat ready for us, following my request when making the booking. The service was brilliant. All of the waiting staff were super friendly. We mostly dealt with Kariss, who really is excellent at customer service. Our food was brilliant - some had the mixed grill, others had a mix of vegetarian starters. We were all too full after that amazing range of food to have mains but from what I saw on other tables/coming out of the kitchen, they looked great too! A great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Came here on a Tuesday night, as a group of four mates, and it was relatively quiet. We shared a large mix grill between us to start, and couldn't fault it. For the mains, the naan breads were fantastic, and all of the currys were really tasty, but for me not quite authentic when compared to say, somewhere like Diwan in Moseley, or one of the original established restaurants in what is left of the balti triangle. As for the service: absolutely superb and attentive. Our waitress (unfortunately i didn't get her name) was absolutely on it. It was nice that once we'd finished our starters, she came over and asked if we wanted them to start cooking our mains, or wait a bit. That was much appreciated. I'm assuming the majority of negative comments are from people who attended at the weekend?

Had a nice experience here. Food was good and service was very family friendly and accommodating. All dishes were tasty with a good selection for all ages and tastes.

Terrible service. Didn't know what they were doing. Got the wrong order. Didn't bring the started and charged us for it. Really slow service and rude manager by the name of Cash. Extremely rude and loud.

We arrived at 5pm on a pre-booked reservation as we have a toddler and wanted to get her home to bed at a decent hour. Instead we waited almost 3 hours just to receive our mains which we had ordered upon arrival! We asked for plain boiled rice for our daughter to come out as a starter as she was hungry and falling asleep...nothing came for nearly 3 hours. All other tables who arrived an hour or so after us received their mains before us. It was only when we stood up to leave when we finally received our mains. Never again. Absolutely atrocious. Clearly the restaurant do not believe in Customer service.

We arrived and it was unclear where our tables were, even though tables had been booked for an 18th birthday. There were Children running around unsupervised and it was very chaotic. There was no system for party bookings and orders were wrong and things were coming out at different times. My husband’s curry had not even been made and he had to wait while his naan bread went cold. Other people had missing items and long waits between items. The chicken was fatty and tasteless. The tikka masala did not even taste nice. The tandoori rotti was well over cooked and service was very poor. I would not return at all!!
