Sultan Kebab in Mid Suffolk

Food cold it take 1 hour 30 min to deliver, not recommended, after 1 hour waiting call them and they say 5 min and sude be delivered but take 30 min more

I used to buy from this place for years and it was so good, but I got super disappointed this time. The portion was very small and burnt, the meat was dry, the portion was expensive and delivery took too long. I am never buying from this place again!

I have been frequently using this place and thought it about time I write a quick review.... this place is by far, the best kebab shop I have visited, I don't know what they coat their chicken sheesh in because if I did I'd be a millionaire. The guys behind the counter could not be friendlier either.

Shocking !! Really bad kebab ….i can’t understand what has happened to this place …..there kebabs were awesome but now they are shocking ! We chucked ours in the bin !

Horrible service,they tell you to do this and that like you haven't many times but can't just make it right and end up ordering Domino's. I asked for No onions,separate salad, separate pita bread and sauces,got told I didn't do it properly but hey ho,the screenshot from the order tells the truth. Now the table mats and the floor are full of oil because was dripping and this is the 4/5 time that happens but the first time that complaint because enough is enough. They give me the money back and didn't want to take the food back. Very honourable but now I want my warm pizza with no onions.

Received our order after making specific customizations when ordering only to receive food with none of the changes we requested, very unhappy

Consistent quality food delivered. Once asked for sauce to be separate. They made a mistake and put the sauce on the food. They realised beforehand and not only did they make a whole new order, they gave the food with the sauce on for free and said sorry. Outstanding customer service. Can't fault this company apart from not recommending the doner (way too salty and not a good texture. Should get a new supplier) Shish and kofte is the way to go. Overall experience over many orders is excellent.

Ordered large chicken kebab chips and 2 cans of diet coke girl turned up and said something about extra diner,opened up takeaway and it had large doner 1 can of coke instead of 2 missus not happy made complaint guy came back with chicken fair enough then I told him about a can of coke short he said he would bring tomorrow then knocked on door and said he had a can of coke. No delivery drivers fault as very polite but people behind counter very rude will not order again as when then the 2nd delivery came didn't want it spoilt our entire night wont order again

Phoned in to place order got asked to hold over 7mins later still holding hearing an order taken over counter still no response gave up their loss,

Just waited nearly two hours for a delivery which said it would be here in 45 minutes. A little late is obviously acceptable but I would have expected a courtesy call for delay of nearly two hours to advise of delay. Family waited for large £30 delivery and when it arrived was not complete. Although the meat was nice the lack of pitta breads paid for did not arrive. Meal ruined. Would not recommend delivery.

I orderd a lamb doner meat and chips £5.20 on the menu all of a sudden its 6.20 coz it's a pound extra for salad Wether you want it or not.i asked could I have the meat cooked on the coles a sharp no was the reply at that point I shoukdv realised it was meat that was chopped up and kept in a pot.i got back to my hotel the meat was tasteless chewy and after a mouthful I left it couldn't taste the chilli or garlic sauce iv travelled the country and that is the worst kebab iv had in my life

ordered 2 kebabs with cheesy chips, complete balls up wrong sauce on one no sauce on another and shocking chips not going back

Myself and family had shish and Donna kebabs last night and they were lovely. Really enjoyed them not greasy at all and were delivered early. Looking forward to them again.

Family of us 3! ordered chicken Shish, served with mixed salad - especially love the cabbage!! - it was delicious so delicious with homemade chilli sauce.

I don’t normally write review but I feel I have to tonight. Sultan Kebab has always been my favourite kebab takeaway in stow market for many years but what I’ve found out that going to order in person is much more effective. We’re sitting here on a Saturday night two hours later and still No food! We’ve got a 6yr old rather hungry and looking forward to our little treat for the week. I understand weekends are busy but please don’t fob us off saying within the hour of you can’t deliver on that promise. Highly consider anyone to not order for delivery from this takeaway, chose another.

Went here last night got a doner kebab the people was rude can’t pay card but had no sign about it. Had to pay all in change and when I told them I was paying all in change they said money is money and as I was grabbing out of my purse then started moaning. They then sorted out my meal the bloke asked me if I wanted salad more than once. When I got home and started eating dinner the meat was hard and cold in places and very dry. Would never recommend this please again it was absolutely awful

My hubby ordered a pizza for our anniversary. It took over an hour and when he called to check all I could hear was shouting "Just give us 2 minutes!" And they hung up. 15 minutes later we received a luke warm pizza 5 minutes before closing. I know hubby loves it there. But never again are we ordering for delivery..

Disgusted Will not be going to this place again served up FOUL SMELLING MEAT ! At first I thought it was me but gave some to my mate and he nearly threw up so either this place needs sort it’s self out or shut down I would of took it back and complained but was traveling to a port to get a ferry I have been to 100s of take away’s all over Europe and never encountered this !!

Great kebab shop. Clean premises, friendly staff and good quality freshly prepared food. Parking nearby.

I Do like their kebabs and burgers. Could do with meal deals, only reason i didnt give 5* But overall it is good food.

Este lugar ha bajado aquí durante los últimos años! Cuando nos trasladamos aquí fue como otras estrellas muestran un gran lugar para conseguir una comida rápida! Las dos últimas comidas que he tenido desde aquí se han equivocado y fría!La última vez pensé que podría haber sido un. Por desgracia, no como esta vez era peor que el anterior!Orden dos - no hay salsa shish de cordero en ambos aunque fue pedido e incluso doble registramos la tienda cuando lo recogí. Mi esposa tenía la mitad de la carne que no aunque eran del mismo tamaño! La carne fue quemada más allá de ser comestible. La envoltura era sólido y sentí como si se hubiera estado fuera todo el día! Cold Stone por el tiempo llegamos a casa y Vivimos sólo a dos minutos de distancia! Nosotros no vamos a aquí lo que es una pena.

The restaurant is decorated very well. Cleaning of the place in first step affects you. The food is extremely delicious.The service is also very good . It is one of the best Turkish restaurants in England.

Love the quality of the kebabs here....recently moved to Stowmarket from Essex where we have obviously been putting up with substandard kebab for years....Great product, Great price & Great Service....Smashing!!

Sultan do the best Kebabs in the area by far, cooked in front of you, staff always friendly, salad always fresh & great chilli sauce. Only negative is they don't deliver.

Just moved to the area and love a kebab. This is a little shop on the high street but the chicken is to die for. Wouldnt go anywhere else for this kind of food.

very nice as we do not have these very often, A lovely treat at the end of a busy week.All in all Very nice.

We are regulars here. As long as you keep it to the chicken doner and no chips, it is a healthy meal. My tip: ask for the salad on the side. It can be pretty moist, so it causes the bread to get wet and fall apart by the time you have eaten it, especially if you take it home. The chicken is nicely spiced, but not too hot.

I very rarely have this kind of food but on this occasion we did. It was very nice for something different.Packed with salad my chicken donor. Very nice. Would not have it every week but now and again lovely.

We came across this takeaway by chance whilst looking for something to eat late at night whilst travelling. We decided to order food here as they offered good selection of Turkish Kebabs and had not diversified into fried chicken ,pizza etc as many takeaway seem to.
