Enjoyed a lovely evening great atmosphere great service and excellent quality of food and drink. Service was professional and very attentive and nothing too much trouble for the staff. Would highly recommend.

I went here with my daughter for lunch not many customers in the restaurant considering it was Saturday however only saw 2 staff front of house. I am really giving an average rating for the food as the service from the Manager Nick was Poor, however the bar guy Fabian was pleasant and he at least said goodbye to us after spending £67.94 in the restaurant. My daughter had the mozzarella with tomato dip which she enjoyed I asked if I could have the pumpkin and ricotta ravioli as a starter for a smaller portion but was declined however I had liked it before so I decided to still have it. When it came I thought there was something different about it i.e. no crispy sage leaves, sauce so I pointed this out and Fabian got some leaves I hadn't realised I had been given the crab & lobster as this point which is also a ravioli. Menus are not left on the table but I soon realised this when I got my receipt, I got a half hearted apology and it removed and replaced with the correct price, although Nicks manner changed in an instant. The chicken with mushrooms and fries on the side was better than my beef chianti I wasn't keen on the mash. We both had the chocolate and cherry sundae minus one wafer curl and frozen Morello cherries although the chocolate icecream was good. Luckily I had a 25% off food code on email otherwise my rating would of been lower, if paying full price would think about going to this restaurant in the future.

All fine. Tasty food and (on this occasion) good service (it isn’t always). If it weren’t for Tesco discount vouchers it would be too expensive for what it is though…. £8 (or was it £9?) for an arancini starter is crazy, and a calzone for about £15. Deserts I think are £6+ for a simple slice of cake. My main grump is that the card machine ask extra for a service charge…. I know this is common these days, but it really shouldn’t be - we aren’t in USA and the owner is supposed to include staff payment in the bill. UK really needs to stop doing this, and stop making customers feel guilty for not simply giving away an extra £10-£20 for nothing…. I have had various jobs/roles in various industries and have never expected a tip - why do restaurants single themselves out as deserving additional money for nothing?

Could not fault the service at Stowmarket Prezzo tonight! All the staff were amazing, so helpful, nothing too much trouble. 7 of us in our party tonight, including our daughter who's birthday we were celebrating. It was lovely & warm & welcoming. Food & drink order was taken promptly & it arrived in really good time. All 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, food was really lovely too! Even brought out our daughters birthday cake & sang happy birthday to her. A huge improvement on a previous visit. Thanks to all the staff for making it such an enjoyable evening, will definitely be back xx

Disabled access doors into the restaurant were out of action but staff were helpful in finding another way into the building. The accessible toilet has a heavy door that a person in a wheelchair would probably need help to open but the room itself was satisfactory. The food and service were all fine.

I visited recently for lunch. Having been several times before and had a thoroughly good experience, unfortunately this time it didn’t make the grade. I was sent the wrong meal which was corrected but the quality and presentation was certainly nowhere near the expected standard. The prices have also increased dramatically so would expect better. I will visit again in case this was a one off but considering there was very few people in there at the time a shake up may be needed very soon.

Our starter was forgotten about which is why it took so long to arrive. They gave us all the food at once which obviously we couldn’t eat it at the same time as well as it going cold. We were not asked if we wanted anymore drinks although they had been empty for sometime as well as checking if everything was ok! The bill took ages too arrive. I have just been for a meal at prezzo with my husband and granddaughter. Unfortunately when the waiter brought our drinks to the table he ended up spilling them. The table was soaked and my trousers got soaked as well. I was wearing white trousers at the time. When I said that my trousers were stained I was told what I could buy to get the stain out. What I am amazed about is that we were not offered the Drinks on the house andwe ended up paying the full amount of the bill. Not very good customer relations in my mind.

I called this restaurant at 21:14 informing them that I will be arriving at 21:30 booking a table for two. The person I spoke to then told me that the restaurant will be closing at 10 so they will not be able to accommodate me at 21:30. He then said he will have to ask the chef, after I insisted that it is unfair to advertise that you close at 22:00 but yet not allow someone to come in at 21:30. He avoided repeating his name to me when I informed him that I would put information on TripAdvisor then he went on to tell me that I am not a customer which means he is not obliged to give me his name. As far as I remember from when he answered the phone, he said his name was Jorbid. He is a terrible character and I will be visiting the restaurant again just to make sure I confirm who exactly he is and report him directly to Prezzo Complaints.

Went here before going to see a show at the regal,lovely staff serving us the problem came when paying the bill I have a blue light card and get 25% of the total price but because the card machine was not working the manager told us we couldn't have the discount bearing in mind we have use it there before,it was very embarrassing In the end the manager gave us 10% of the bill not good I have spoke to the blue light company about this won't be going here again.

Having had a mediocre visit here in January 22, decided to give the restaurant another go. The male server(possibly manager?) who seated us was very sombre. Gave us menus then came back to take our orders - he was so quietly spoken each of had to ask him to repeat himself several times - no sense of humour at all. Lovely rose Prosecco arrived alongside our other drinks. Bottle of rose plonked on the table in what is supposed to be a wine cooler?and just left there. No offer to pour it out. We left it awhile to pour and it was warm. By this time we had our mains(arrived on cold plates again🙄) and trying to attract the servers attention proved unsuccessful so we gave up. Had to ask for the bill and then ask again to pay it. Poor overall experience again - costing £145. We won’t be dining here again which is a shame as it could be so much nicer with a bit of effort from the in house team.

Visited with friends after Christmas, very pleasant meal, good choice and tasted freshly cooked. Good value - couldn't really complain. Would visit again.

So to say the least this was the most unhygienic place I have ever eaten is such an understatement!! The smell of sewers was very overwhelming, the only person in the building who could not smell this was the manager!!!! Food was terrible and a discrace, the reason I can justify this is the chicken my friend ordered had fish scales all over it from the grill!?? Then within 35 seconds and I mean 35 seconds later appears another one for her!........So they definitely did not clean the grill in that time! How this is still open I have no idea, it's such a health hazard. How the local authorities allow this to be open with raw sewage smell throughout I don't know? Such a shame, sort it out Prezzo!!!!

Today I went to this restaurant with another adult a toddler and baby. Apparently it was full at 4 in the afternoon and they could not accommodate us . I could see quite a few empty tables but accept they may have had bookings for these. Turning around by the door to make sure the children were safe on my departure I was told to shut the door and not let the heat out. All of this was done in an unkind, judgemental and rude Manner by a male member of staff who has had attitude problems on other occasions when we have dined there. I was left feeling upset having been treated like a piece of dirt. Do Prezzo not really like having young children in their establishment. Does this waiter not like serving families with young children. Did he look at us after an afternoon at the park and windswept and make a judgement. Who knows. What I do know is that I shall never step foot in any Prezzo again.I am appaled

The restaurant was absolutely freezing and draughty! I sat in my coat! Order taken and drinks arrived promptly. The starters and main course were served on stone cold plates - it’s not hard to warm plated surely? Food was nice and our waitress was lovely.

We recently visited Prezzo and sat outside due to the current restrictions. Their COVID policies are excellent. The restaurant is operating a one way system, they ask you to scan in using the NHS app and everything is clearly sign posted and explained. We were very impressed as so many restaurants we have visited recently haven’t been up to the same standard.On top of that, the food was delicious, the waiters were so friendly, and the service was great. After a substantial break due to current covid circumstances, we decided to return to Prezzo Stowmarket. What a transformation. Professional looking staff. Attentive waiters/waitresses and a friendly front of house manager. The whole experience was second to none and great valve for money. The food arrived in record time and was very flavoursome.9/10 highly recommend to friends and family. Well done guys keep up the good work.

Me and my girlfriend visited on a Friday night and were really impressed by the covid-secure measures that had been put in place. We had 3 courses and the food was fantastic.Probably the best we've ever had at a Prezzo. Gutted they've had to close again but looking forward to the reopening (again!)

After needing a quick booking for a table of six only 30 minutes beforehand I was blown away by the standard of service and food. Everyone in our business group loved their food and the staff were so kind and professional and everything was delivered quickly. The atmosphere was great and the building was sparkling it was that clean. I really really enjoyed our visit and I look forward to returning after lockdown.

First class staff all very friendly, a very nice table, no too crowded and well spaced out. My part of 4 all enjoyed a veriety of meals and found the evening most pleasant. We are frequent customers and cannot find any similar resturant in the Stowmarket area with so much going for it.

Went here with our friends, they said their food was nice. I had the spaghetti bolognaise, which is the staple food of an italian restaurant. It wasnt great. The spaghetti was swimming in the cooking water and the sauce was tasteless. Disapointed really as it was a tenner !!! I had better spag bol from the freezer section of the ready meal aisle !!!

A potentially pleasant experience ruined by being served a warm, flat (draft) beer. It's replacement and a previous one were neither so I wonder where the warm one came from and how food safe it was in this difficult Covid climate.

The food at Prezzos isn’t fine dining or even high end. But it’s good quality food always nicely cooked I love their pizza’s. We had a nice meal here on Saturday afternoon. The place was spotless and they did everything possible to follow Government Guidance reference the COV VID which made us feel comfortable and safe. The manager introduced himself and clearly explained all the changes and rules now in place etc. Really nice friendly person who is clearly passionate about his restaurant and job, which was great to see. Well Done we will definitely be returning again soon.

Had a fab meal here on Monday, Christmas treat from lovely stepdaughter and son in law. Really nice evening, service good, atmosphere good and amazing pizzas! Have been in the past to this restaurant and would certainly go again.

Ordered some food for collection. Food was ready when we got there, drove home and when we get home we realise we are missing some of our order. We drive back to get missing item; no apology for it not being with the rest of our order and us having to drive all the way back. Got home, again, food was terrible. Fries soggy (normal fries, not truffle) pizza was poor with very little topping and dry chicken and the garlic bread was inedible due to being so tough and chewy. Overall terrible experience, won't be going there again.

Had a great pizza today with a fifty percent off mains voucher.We were asked on arrival if we had any food allergies which we had not been asked that before. The pizzas were great and good value with the voucher used.

Had to move table after an awful smell from the heating vents that the staff sorted for us swiftly. Drinks were slow coming but food was quick and very good.Overall service was good and staff all very helpful. Appalling customer service. Went to the bar to order drinks which the lady wasn't happy by sat to our table and waited for our other guests to arrive. Handed menus and about 2 minutes later asked what we wanted to order. We asked for some more time then were left waiting whilst all the staff played with another customers baby! In the end I had to get some and ask if they were able/ready to take our order! My sister order a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and ham, on arrival the girl said I have taken the ham off if you are having vegan cheese, my sister is not vegan just can't have dairy so we paid for something which she decided not asked to do! Terrible customer service from start to end and way over priced food!

Excellent atmosphere - excellent food! We visited early Saturday night and the atmosphere was great. Food was delivered very quickly. It was lovely and the service really good. All-in-all - highly recommended for the family. Great menu for the children.

I am a Carer for my disabled child. It is incredibly hard & I get no break. Last night, for the first time in a year I had a respite evening. My fiancé & I chose Stowmarket Prezzo. I was excited to relax & enjoy a nice meal together, in peace. It was horrendous. My partner ordered garlic bread, gluten free. It came very overcooked. He could not cut it or eat it. I have seen softer frisbees. I new one came but we had to eat our starters separately. Next our main course came. They were placed down & my partner was asked if he wanted oils. The waitress had her back to me & I was not asked. I noticed my pizza had no cheese on it!! I had asked for no tomato but what I had been given was the base with some pepperoni placed on top. When I told the girl who appeared to be in charge there was no apology. I said that this was not good enough. We had had to eat our starters separate & now our main courses. She looked very put out that I had said this but gave us an extra glass of wine. When the new pizza came, very quickly, it was raw!! I had partially cooked dough, partially melted cheese & pepperoni. I raised this with the waitress who had it this point banged into my partners chair 4 times & dropped a bottle into another customers spaghetti without apology. She rolled her eyes, made no apology & walked off. I could see her & the girl in charge poking their fingers in it across the restaurant. They then both brought it back to me & said it’s meant to be like that! I told them it’s not, it raw but they wouldn’t have it. I am twice their age, a very good cook & have eaten pizza at Prezzo for 15+ years. I have never seen a pizza look like that! The dough was still very pliable & not very hot. She agreed to change it & I ate my dinner separate to my partner. This is the worst experience at Prezzo I have ever had. We will never eat at Stowmarket again & will be telling our friends & family. We would of forgiven the slow service & the initial garlic bread but the attitude was terrible. A friend on a nearby table had a poor meal too & we heard the table behind complain. This restaurant really gives Prezzo a bad name. Prezzo absolutely ruined my one night off in a year. I can’t get that back. I have to also wonder how the rude staff would of managed if I had taken my daughter in the restaurant. She has autism. I would not consider Stowmarket to be a safe restaurant to take an autistic person.

Food here wasn’t too bad. A good gluten free menu was well received and the main menu fairly tasty too. However really let down by everything else. Tables quite dirty. Lots of children running around and large parties being quite rowdy. Drinks order was wrong. It’s ok but huge room for improvement

We needed somewhere to eat in Stowmarket on a Friday night and this was close to the carpark.

Strangers in town in need of an evening meal. Prezzo looked good from the outside so gave it a go. Inside was warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly/ service was reasonably prompt/ 2 course meal was tasty and good value.

Our third trip to Prezzo and the service was extremely slow yet again. Always a shame as the staff are usually nice, food tastes the same as other Prezzo restaurants.. but speed of food delivery really needs to be improved.

Visited last night. Sat in the garden ... big mistake ! Obviously staff don’t like walking up the steps because it took one hour and a quarter to get our main meals ! No apologies offered ! Then we saw no one so obviously didn’t get to order any desserts or another bottle of wine ! If we hadn’t gone inside to pay the bill I’m sure we’d still be sitting there now !! Come on Prezzo surely you must know this isn’t good enough .

We visited after a family celebration, service ok as was the food. We do enjoy Prezzo as it’s close to home although the menu doesn’t change much which means it can get a little boring. Other than that I would recommend.

Took 2 hours for main courses to arrive in a party of 2!! Ridiculous. No cutlery on our table, no napkins, drinks were slow. Just terrible. Turned a nice night into a irritating one.

Eight of us had a very enjoyable evening here. We had reserved a table in the conservatory which is nice and light. Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Turned up for date night on a Sunday, was keen to try it out as hadn't been into it before. (Hard to get the dukes out of my head). Really friendly welcome, however when advised we had a voucher that's when things changed. Sat in a corner and forgotten about. Was only 6/7 other people in restaurant and 5 front of house staff, no excuse for it. Took ages to place order, had to go looking for staff. Seemed genuinely disinterested in us, no one checked on us through the meal. Food was ok, however have had better in other Prezzos. Genuinely think I had better food and service whilst it was a dingy pub in its past life. Considering stowmarket doesn't have slot to offer in the shape of nice restaurants, this place could do well. However don't think we will attend again for a while. To sum up, disappointed.

My wife requested a meal with our family to celebrate her birthday. Her preference was for Prezzo.

We had a buy a gift coupon, so whilst our kitchen was out of action we thought a visit to our local Prezzo would be a nice treat. Starters came in reasonable time, however it took an hour to get our main meal. It arrived cold and my husbands pizza was no more that a piece of bread with some mushrooms, avocado and wilted rocket chucked on top. Spoke to manager she was apologetic however the other two tables around us were also complaining. In summery Slow kitchen service, under staffed with regards to table waiting, average food at best - arriving cold and clearly not fresh!

Before last night, my two previous visits had been terrible. The service was slow and not particularly polite. I walked out after a wait of 15 minutes and no one had even taken a drinks order or given us a menu. It was so bad I wrote and complained to the Hospitality Team at Head Office.

Quick dinner before visit to cinema next door. Lovely meal and special mention for Louis who was just at Stowmarket Prezzo from Woodbridge temporarily. What a lovely chap, made us feel very welcome.

There is nothing not to like about this restaurant. There’s a huge choice of dishes with plenty of gluten free options. The staff were welcoming and efficient and the food was amazing. A perfect evening.

We had a family meal here one Bank Holiday and were really impressed with the food options available, especially for those in the group with food intolerances. The gluten free and vegan pizzas are delicious and come out looking and tasting as lovely as the normal pizzas. My only issue was I asked for vegan cheese on my Hawaiian pizza as I don’t eat dairy, so they decided to remove the ham too without double checking. So I would just recommend you explain if choosing vegan cheese for a dairy intolerance reason so you don’t get any meat removed. It’s a lovely restaurant with friendly staff and good choice of options. Will definitely be going back.

we went to prezzos in stowmarket on 1st june what a lovely experience the restaurant was spotless our waitress was charming friendly with a lovely smile and manner this is the best prezzos we have been to food was excellent service polite and quick marks 10 out of ten the company should be very pleased with staff

Really disappointed in what should have been a straight forward meal at a quiet time. Waited 14-20 mins for any order let alone offer of drinks and we had our young children with us. Generally felt staff were distracted and inattentive. Usually waiting staff are friendly and engaging with our kids but barely acknowledged them. Food was slow although actually not too bad in itself for the price. Had to wait ages for plates to be cleared and desserts ordered. I had to collect them myself from counter as I could see others being left standing on the side, hot drink barely warm and kids ice cream melting. No apologies for explanations from staff, poorly organised. Won’t return based on service which is shame as restaurant has potential to be a little gem in this run town little town but staff letting it down.

This was a drop-by visit by four of us at around 8:45p.m. on what turned out to be a busy Tuesday evening in the restaurant. We were welcomed very quickly and given an option on seating as an attractive window table had just become vacant. We were given a decent amount of time to chose our dishes and got requested olives and drinks very quickly. Our food arrived in good time, was delivered to us with grace and, despite the layout being slightly awkward, skill. The food was piping hot and all arrived together letting us eat together. Despite the lateness we were given the option of dessert with no prompt about the time. Throughout our visit the staff were, though busy, unobtrusive but responsive. We did not feel rushed and our friends were surprised to learn, when we had left the restaurant, that it had closed at 10p.m. as it was well after 10:30 when we left and there were still patrons inside the restaurant.

The staff in the Stowmarket Prezzo could not be more accommodating if the tried. Anticipated our every need. The evening was topped off by some lovely, well prepared and presented food.

Unlike some modern eateries, Stowmarket Prezzo manages to provide a welcoming atmosphere in modern surroundings, where the tables are well-spread out and you don't have to keep your elbows by your side to avoid the other diners nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive and, in particular, the young manageress was excellent in her role as the front-of-house. The food was delicious and very well presented. The lunch menu offered a fixed-price for a comprehensive choice of starters, mains and dessert, while the "normal" menu was also still available. Thank you Prezzo. As Arnie would say "I'll be back!"

I’ve been to Prezzo on last friday evening with my husband and little daughter. We’ve been served by very nice lady, her name is Gabriela. The service was perfect from welcoming to the end. I was very busy with my little one and didn’t realise when I ordered, my meal was with something which I didn’t want. When the food came to the table, I was very disappointed however Gabriela approched us very nicely and with the solution which made me so happy. Even the night was busy, Gabriela’s energy was wonderful which made you feel like you were home. Definitely will come back :)

Previously visited, poor service and indifferent food, on this visit great service and very good hot food served promptly by very attentive staff, what a turn round keep up the good work.

Wonderful staff, wonderful food, and wonderful service. You can't really ask for more, even the building is wonderful.

Always enjoy taking my partner, daughter and granddaughter to lunch. The staff are so obliging. A good consistent and tasty menu, cater well for children and good value for money. Also there is always a voucher to make the meal even better value for money. Well done Stowmarket, you've never let your standards slip.

We've enjoyed eating here many times and like the relaxed environment and nice food but oh dear, I don't quite know what happened tonight. 2 poor staff members trying their best but just not able to cope. We waited so long inbetween being given menus and placing our order and then when our order did come the side dish was missing... the poor lady looked so harassed that I didn't want to question it. Again, we were left with our empty plates in front of us for such a long time that we hardly dared ask for a dessert menu. It was obvious they were struggling and doing their best but we weren't asked if everything was okay, if we wanted more drinks or coffees etc, we were literally left alone until we managed to get their attention and call them over, even the bill took forever after we asked for it. I don't think we'll be going back again for a while.

Had a lovely evening with the family to celebrate my birthday, including a free bottle of lovely Prosecco; a voucher was automatically emailed to me by Prezzo earlier in the week of my birthday which was an unexpected, but gratefully received surprise! The food was great and my dad who is actually not a big fan of Italian food (really ??!!) ate everything and was particularly complementary about his meal. I personally can thoroughly recommend the Marinated Aubergine Paccheri (Vegetarian/Vegan friendly). Roxie and Becky made sure the evening was extra special and we’ll certainly be back for that Aubergine dish again very soon !!

Good food, a range of vegetarian dishes offered, attentive staff (Vicky in particular) and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend!!

We arrived at the restaurant at 1530 to find that our reservation hadn’t been received through online booking... but as the restaurant was empty it was fine. We ordered our drinks and 2 children meals within 10 minutes as the little ones needed to eat, around 20 minutes later a waitress came to take our order(3adults). About 40 minutes after we had placed our orders our starters arrived, we sent them back as the children’s food hadn’t arrived and by then they really needed to eat, one child is 5 the other 20months. Around 15minutes after we had sent back our starters the children’s mains arrived, without their starters. We initially sent them back but then said to bring the mains and they can have their starters as sides... said starters were veg and houmous and garlic dippers... I even offered to go and chop the veg up....at around 1645, there a must have been a shift change and all of a sudden our food arrived we were asked if we wanted drinks... it felt as if we were in a different restaurant! We left without ordering puddings for ourselves, the children having been confined for 2 and a half hours needed to get out of there! What a shame the service let this place so badly down as the food was lovely, if we didn’t have children with us we would have walked out. To be fair the new shifts manager did address the problem professionally and tried to rectify the situation as much as she could.

Had a fabulous lunch with my son and parents today. Staff were helpful and very attentive but not overly so. Food was well cooked and tasty. Didn't know it was there but is definitely one of the better places to eat in Stowmarket. We had a lovely time and will return again soon. Loved sitting in the conservatory on such a beautiful day.

Went here for valentines meal tonight. The food itself was fairly nice The service was terrible, we waited ages for our order to be taken, the starter turned up 30 mins after the order went in but then the empty plates were in front of us for another 30 mins before the mains arrived. The plates were taken away and then we waited another 45 mins for desert. In this time nobody asked us if we needed another drink with our meal. It seemed it wasnt just us that was waiting for ages as people were also leaving early. Having to get up to ask for the bill and then having to wait at the bar to pay as no one would come to our table . Clearly either poor organisation or understaffed for a busy night . pretty disappointed to be honest. Not sure I would visit again until I saw the rating go up again ..

This was a birthday celebration with my family and also ended up being a wonderful celebration of our daughters engagement,so a lovely surprize.

Food was good, and good deals. However the service was so poor. There was only five/six other tables in the restaurant and it still took over 50 mins to get starters (and we were only a table of four!). To top it off, one of the starters was late because it had been forgotten. Overall we were stuck in prezzo for over two hours, due to slow service. The table who left before us had complained as well. Shame as food is quite tasty. But as this is the second time in a matter of months we have had the same problem, I very much doubt we will be returning.

A lovely meal- we've been before and enjoyed it- but today my birthday lunch was fantastic; redeemed my birthday bottle of Prosecco voucher quickly and the chied bottle arrived just as fast! A special mention to Louis for his very friendly and efficient service :-)

Booked a table for two, restaurant was quite busy, we were given a table in the walkway leading to the kitchens there must have been an outside door which was open because there was a through draft of cold air coming through the area where our table was situated, my wife resorted to wearing her coat, the view I had was of the chef preparing the meals.

Been to this restaurant a few time and cannot fault it at all, food always great and staff helpful and friendly

We visited as a family of 5. Our one vegetarian found a very pleasant option and enjoyed a tasty meal. My Pizza from the premier range was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
