Sultan Experience in Lancaster

Ordered last night on just eat with the 40percent promotion, ordered at 4.20 just before they opened and said would be a 50 minute wait which we was happy with as knew would be busy. Was pleasantly surprised when it was ready in a lot less time. Cheers sultans food was amazing like always.

Absolutely lovely food tonight. The rice was so soft and delicious and the curries were so tasty. Best curry takeaway in town! We’ll be eating here again! The service and whole ‘Sultan Experience’ was fantastic! Love how ‘community’ based they are - they give away so much - always a real treat when eating from The Sultan Experience. Naan breads are absolutely delicious.

Sultan of Lancaster is the best takeaway in town...since we started ordering from them we have not ordered from anywhere else. Great range of options on the menu. Everything we've had has been delicious... Customer service is outstanding :)

Never tried this place before but I’ve always heard good things. I thought it would be a good time to order with it being 40% off. I was very pleased with the quality of the food. I decided to collect the order as I’m close by and the shop was very clean and the staff were very polite and attentive. I really recommend it to all.

My food came very late and was cold, I was disappointed.

Had to order it again today as it was very nice last night also. Fantastic both times. Didn’t leave a review yesterday as I thought I’d see if they could do the same thing again and they exceeded our expectations. Thumbs up from us

Nearly 3 hours since I ordered, app says it’s been delivered and then half an hour later that it’s on its way. No update and not answering the phone. Not impressed!

Food could have been nice but it was cold after being half an hour later than the latest delivery time. I appreciate it was a large order and we got a discount but lots of us had never had takeaway from there before and we weren’t very impressed with the delay and cold food.

Second time in two days. Me and my wife can’t get enough of it!

I love Sultans, only takeaway in the area I will order from, food is always lovely, the owner always checks in by text to see how our food was and I am fussy and make amendments to the meals which they always accommodate and make the meal even better! Best takeaway by far. Thank you Sultans!

Good food - although the Chicken Tikka Masala did not take like a chicken Tikka Masala, but rather a spicy tomatoey curry. There was no creamyness or sweetness to it. I ordered this, as I wanted a mild curry not a spicy one.

Order arrived early and nice and hot. The food was incredible - can’t believe we’ve never tried here before, will definitely be coming back!

I recommend the chicken shawarma meal! Wow! It was amazing

Only ever ordered take out, so cannot comment on atmosphere but the take out food it lovely, I don't usaully want Chinese, Indian, pizza, burgers or kebabs, so the sizzler dishes are perfect for me. The food is consistently good, on less busy day it's always early but even on busy days it's on time and hot. The drivers never expect a tip and I rarely have cash in the house but when I do the driver has wished me a good day before I shout them back for the tip. By far my favourite take out.

Food was unreal as always! Delivered quicker than estimated and hot when it arrived. I recommend the Karl Special

Didnt get crispy chicken tenders

Literally the worst takeaway we've ever had. It was nearly 1hr late, items missing off the order, and completely tasteless. I can't believe its actually a legitimate takeaway to be honest. Dropped some on the kitchen floor by accident, and even our dog walked straight past it (that's not a lie either). Even if a free replacement meal was offered to make up for this absolute mess of a takeaway, I would refuse it. If it was possible to give a 0 star rating, I would . AVOID the disappointment and save yourself the money as it certainly isn't cheap. Thanks for the response, but I've no interest in ever using the restaurant again after my experience. Lesson learnt on my behalf. Keep up the good work you do for the local community, but unfortunately, you've lost a customer based on our experience. We ordered of your own website.

food arrived very hot and on time, rang the restaurant after ordering to ask for a couple of changes, very obliging and sorted it, food is so tasty and value for money, Deffo the best for miles x

Delicious food but item said beef patties, and was £15. Expected it to be a doubled burger. Was fairly small and a single. Cleverly worded or disingenuous. Not sure but not worth £15.

Waited almost 2 hours and still no food my kids are starving, rang and rang the place over and over again don’t take orders if you can’t fulfil them !!!

Food was over an hr late and the driver even said he been to morecambe twice and they never handed him my delivery so when it got it the whole box was falling apart as of the grease and milkshakes on top, really disappointed as they usually delivery quite quick

Absolutely disgusting experience! I have ordered the same burger from here on multiple occasions as I know I like it, I ordered it again this evening and they got it wrong twice! Then tried to tell me that a smash burger (it normally comes with 2 smash burger patties) is just 1 thick cheap for pattie. The smash burger also always has burger sauce, NOT MAYO. The burger I received twice had mayo on it!

Plastered in sauce ruins the food , a pot or tub would be better especially on the kids , overpriced

First time trying sultan was a little hesitant to order as is a little expensive but when I got my food it was well worth the money u get what you pay for next time I order I will probably be going for a madras see how that is as I enjoyed my kebab and the dad box

Late a few minutes but got back to me with a text instantly. Massive portion got 'uncle munch box' had two chicken curries, rice, naan, extra chicken, kebab and a massive samosa. Totally worth getting for price!

Do not order from here, waiting nearly 2 hours for some basic kebab shop food. There is nothing special about this place and there is no experience to be tasted. Money grabbing jokers with no idea how to run a successful business. Won’t be around in 2/3 years. Useless

Really late, wouldn’t answer phone when I called for an order update.

Ordered food at 7.50pm, expected delivery 20 past 9. It is now half 11, I have enquired for an update several times, and rung the store several times to which they have not answered. I guess my food will not be coming seeing as it shuts at 11.30. If I could give 0 stars I would

Food is tasty, milkshakes are great but it was 1 1/2 hours late and when we tried to call the restaurant over ten times no one answered. Will not be ordering from here again due to horrendous waiting time.

i've ordered 5 times. it has been atleast 30-40 minutes late every time. this last time, they have not delivered my order at all and they do not respond or pick up the phone.

Not happy, basically waited 3 hours 20 from 6pm ordering rang at 8 to check forgot my order will send it out, nothing they rang me 9.20 to apologise they misplaced my order and would send it out straight away and offered me another meal on the house, not good enough when it’s past the time you would eat..just shocking usually go to the restaurant but think will be giving it a miss for the foreseeable…

it was over an hour and half late. we ended up ordering from somewhere else and sending them away in the end. even trying to get through on the phone to find out where it was was a nightmare. won't be ordering from here again unfortunately.

Ordered food at 1600 at 2100 no food delivered still waiting rang no answer if u can't fulfil orders why take them will not order from them again wondering if it will ever turn up never mind if it's edible update food turned up at 2115 not bad but chips soggy pitta bread like cardboard but meat was nice salad not lot of.
