Sugarholics in Birmingham

Worst service ever. Took 2 hours for my food to arrive eventhough they say it takes 15minutes on uber, delivery driver from the shop came knocking the door down at 2:20am delivering cold soggy food and a watery milshake with no shame.

Ordered through ubereats and was left disappointed. They should have shut the shop as they had nothing not even ice for the mocktail 🤦🏻‍♀️ they didn’t even think to make me aware of it even though I called several times as they didn’t have things I ordered to begin with.

Been waiting for nearly 2 hours for delivery. Shops also stopped answering the phone. Will never order again

I've ordered from sugarholics a few times now and I have to say, the food is top tier, always well packaged, the custards always hot and ice cream always still ice cream when it get delivered. So much choice as well which is nice. 5* for sure and now my new guilty pleasure for midnight snacking. Thank you team sugarholics. Keep up the amazing work 🎂

Just ordered 2 Ferro roche milkshakes and all i can taste is cream ….

Absolutely terrible , spent 15£ on a milkshake and waffles sticks. Looks like they had a little nibble on it before sending my order out! 😡 waffle was not coooked properly , the milkshake was way too thick. They jus threw everything into the box 😡😡🤬

10 out 10 all the time this is the only place ill eat from desert wise know. The food is always amazing here and milkshakes. Would recommend this place to anyone. The price is good and the portion sizes are amazing but the best thing ever is the owners here are so nice your always made to feel welcome here even when ordering. Even the service was 10/10 always i think the deserts here are the best in brum. The fact its handmade to is even more brilliant and tasty you would be missing out if you don’t try this place literally.

Sugarholics have become my regular dessert parlor now. Amazing staff, very friendly and patient. Excellent pricing and even better desserts. Any questions or queries just call them they are always happy to help accommodate your requests. 10/10 for food and 10/10 customer service. Thank you Sugarholics my nieces and nephews love your desserts.

Tried the biscoff waffle and milkcake with the fresh ice cream was 10 out of 10

They are so kind and accommodating, the milkshakes and ice creams which were absolutely delicious. Quick service too

Sugarholics take ur money and send wrong orders out. Then when we inquire about the order they say they will deal with it them come up with more excuses 🙄 I have tried to contact the company so many times but they answer and end call with you. I will never order from this place again oh and wouldn't want other people to eat from here either the desserts we had was cold, and had white hairs inside of them !!!!

Rude staff horrible little Girls working there need a reality check before someone comes and gives them 1 absolutely disgusting service will boycot them

Sugerholics is best place to order milkshakes , I loved mine as it had fresh fruits in it and thanks to lovely staff I got my order delivered very quickly . Customer service and food quality both are excellent .

First time ordering,ordered a manago shake and milk chocolate cookie dough,mango shake looked weird,supposed to be yellow but was white,tasted it,tasted like milk to be honest,was very disappointed,as with cookie dough was really hard to break with spoon,so had to use my hands,but taste was not bad,overall 5/10

Order never arrived after 40 mins, told no uber driver to collect (total liars), had to cancel, kids left without their desserts this bank holiday , not happy, very poor service

First getting desserts here. Ordered two white chocolate cookie dough and two smarties milkshake. The cookie dough was rlly tasty but the milkshake had a weird aftertaste to it i think it might be cause of the caramel sauce they put in it.

Went to pick up a strawberry sundae and a slick of choco cake. I came home and all i have is strawberry sauce and 2 scoops of ice cream. This is 6.95. Absolutely ridiculous called the shop last 30 mins lines busy of more complaints i guess. When it first opened up it was brilliant really well presented. Very disapointed would like a response.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Day light robbery! DISHONEST!! Paid almost £9 for a cookie dough and it was 3 small cookies that had been melted down! Then the ice cream was incorrect and looked like it had been eaten before delivered to us! Never again! Spent so much money that we won't be getting back due to dishonest thieving people who just take your money and give you scraps for it!

Don’t waste your time ordering from here. Staff are disgustingly rude & liars. Dessert is mediocre. Waste of time & waste of money, get your desserts from elsewhere.

I ordered 3 lychee boba drinks on just eat, bare in mind i always order from here im a regular customer, they sent three 7ups instead and when i called the shop, the staff's response was that the lychee ran out? Shouldn't you contact the customer if the item is out of stock? Disappointing they did nothing about it.

Absolutely disgusted with this service- ordered waffles with ice cream. Firstly the order came late which I accepted because that can happen. However, the icre cream that came with the waffles was literally watery and melted and half of the pot only. Obviously you can't eat waffles without ice cream and this is unacceptable so I rang them and the girl on the phone kept leaving me hanging and eventually said a trainee made the ice cream hence the quality was bad (complete lie because how does a trainee make ice cream??) she expected me to accept this however I said they would obviously need to compensate me somehow so she said they would come and deliver ice cream to me but it would be an hour late. She was very rude too. I accepted this and waited all night for the ice cream meaning I did not eat the waffle as I waited and of course it didn't arrive! The waffles therefore got soggy and I had to throw them away. They looked horrible too- £8 gone down the drain. Anyway, today I called them to let them know of the situation and that the ice cream did not arrive. Apparently I spoke to the owner, who does not speak the most friendly or professional way, however I took the time and patience to understand what he said. He lied and said he himself delivered the ice cream which is impossible as a woman delivered it! Then he changed the story and said he admits it may have melted. This was confusing me as I thought the initial problem was the trainee made the ice cream LOL. Anyway, he kept trying to gas light me and make it as if it was MY problem that they delivered melted ice cream. So he said I can ask just eat for a refund which is not guaranteed or I should physically come into the store and order again. Of course I wasn't going to do that. I explained in consumer protection law it is the retailer that must put the consumer back in the position they'd have been in had the items been provided as they should have hence it isn't consumers responsibility to go and collect an item, it needs to be delivered to me. He then said the petrol will cost him ?! Well I'm sorry??? I paid for your horrendous service and item- maybe don't have a business contract with just eat if you can't afford to delivery food to people. Absolutely horrendous I would definitely stay away from ordering from here in case something does go wrong!

Worst slowest service ever don’t come here . Waited 40mins for me order . Lady kept looking at me to as if she was doing something dodgy so I opened my stuff gave a look . Rude !!!!

I’ve ordered some milkshakes and they forgot to give me straws ! After calling them they’re saying I can pick them up ! Very unprofessional . These shakes are useless without a straw !

The staff there was rude and disrespectful she was sat there holding a vape in her hand smoking like she doesn’t care ! Was totally disrespectful and disappointing !!! I told her I’d like to speak to the manager and she told me to “fuck off” went by the name of malaika if I am correct ?

Tried ordering on justeat, waited a long time for them to confirm only for justeat to say the order was cancelled. Can't write a review on justeat because we haven't recieved anything but I'm actually glad we didn't because of other reviews about very poor customer service and hair in food yet they somehow have a rating of 5 for hygiene...

Walked in and was asked if I was here to collect a Uber order. The lady behind the counter clearly went to the local schools as the way she spoke and presented herself with no representation of customer service skills walking around vaping a Bushra no doubt, in regards to the waffle it was edible.

For me shakehouse is better just go there, staff on phone also unprofessional

No idea why in the 21st century - dessert shoos are sending you soggy cakes drenched in custard. Separate the cake from the custard please.

This place has the best milk cakes I've tasted (and I've tasted a lot), I've never really been a big fan of milk cakes until I tried those from Sugarholics. What stood out to me as a differentiating factor was their 'milk' was also flavoured depending on the milk cake ordered, the other places I have ordered from used a generic milk element, this was the first that I discovered with a flavoured milk element, post trying this, several more shops offered flavoured milk. Back to Sugarholics, for me, both milk cake offerings were lovely but the Nutella milk cake was just spot on! Since discovering this place, I've since ordered it several times. Sadly though the most recent order I placed did not have the chocolate flavoured milk, it was regular white flavoured milk rather than chocolate, which is actually very noticeable in the taste of the milk cake. Will try again at some point and if the milk element returns to its former glory, I'll update to 5 stars. Portion sizes are really good too, great value!

Staff don't smile when you walk in and they have ice cream in a chilly tub for 1.50 the 2 girls that work there don't smile one is wearing a black scaff also when you walk in to u have to turn around and laugh

Went in and ordered my food. The staff were really nice and my order was made quickly. I went and sat in the car about 5 minutes later one of the lovely staff came and gave me food to me, was so pleased. The waffles were amazing and the snicker sundae was mouthwatering. Will definitely recommend.

Great variety of desserts, ordered 5 desserts and they all were so delicious. Delivery came quick, service was amazing. Definitely worth ordering, you won’t regret it!!

Ordered through uber eats 11.50 for an ice cream the cream came melted and runny dripping down the cup the driver apologize. I poured it into a bowl and discovered a hair I rung them up and the guy was rude and abusive and said there was no hair in the cream I sent him a picture but he called me a liar.

Disgusting. Was a black hair in my order, I contacted shop and they said I was lying and hung up. Dirty and disgusting.

Ordered through Ubereats, so not sure about the dining in experience. Crepe was very chewy and brownies tasted stale. Ice cream wasn't great and tasted cheap. Positive - cookie dough tasted fine.

Brought 10 strawberry shakes would defo buy and try something new from there underated shop everyone get @sugarholics. Staff is polite and service is brilliant 👊

My new go to Dessert Parlour. Food is spot on, milkshakes are really good. Went in at 2315, place was still busy, gotta be a good sign right??? Yes my ice cream was incorrect, but this was addressed at the counter and given the incorrect items as courtesy, to be fair, they had lots of orders on! Ordered for me and the good lady, both of us agreed that "this place is better than the jam jar" Staff are helpful, polite and cheerful. See you again soon guys!

Got a take away, I was not expecting it to be as good as it was to be honest. Just went there because it was local and I wanted to support a new business. Ordered for 4 people and we were all impressed. Service was good, the owner and the lady serving us were efficient and made good conversation while we waited. I would definitely go back.

I visited sugarholics with my wife last night, all i can say is brilliant service! ,nice friendly staff! and the desserts are to die for! I have been to many dessert places but this by far is my favourite and i highly recommend it especially the rainbow cake :)
