Sugar Rush in Oldham

It would have been 4/5 stars a few years back, but they have seriously gone downhill recently. Most of the tables were dirty or cluttered with boxes which only left one table for us. Only one staff member was working which made our waiting time longer. The waffles were dense (rather than fluffy) and the ice cream was more watery than creamy. However I did enjoy my crepe.

An absolute horrible experience. They are not professional at all and don't even know what they are doing. The made my Crepe pancake hard and crunchy Waffle was horrible and ice cream like felt like ice water. Never again.

popped inside to get milkshakes. 2 ladies working away, one lady came to the till twice and didn't bother taking my order. waited for 5 mins and no acknowledgement from the staff! shocking customer service! walked straight out and went elsewhere. place was empty so there was no excuse owner/ manager really needs to have a word with the staff! AND WILL NEVER BE VISITING AGAIN EITHER... LOOKING AT OTHER REVIEWS, SEEMS TO BE CONSISTENT IN THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

got my waffle there wasn't enough Nutella sauce just a slight drizzle even and no toffee sauce at all had to put extra from home. service was poor an I wouldn't recommend this place not going back their again.

Realistically all the dessert places in Oldham taste the same, it is what it is The food is consistent and tastes good One good shout out, the gelato is really good!

Best milkshakes in Oldham, literally. After a long time me and my friend ordered two milkshakes tonight, got a lovely call from store shortly after that my order is on the way and to enjoy. They arived few minutes after the call, absolutely delicious. Love the quick service and the quality just amazing.

Though the general service was good, the order did take a lot longer than what we were told and it wasn’t exactly busy at the time. Waffle tasted a bit like plastic if I’m honest, however the strawberry’s tasted fresh. Overall it was presented really well in my opinion. Not the best of experiences but not the worst either.

Being long standing customers and having plenty of orders delivered by yourselves throughout lockdown tonight our order came stinking of cigarettes when we contacted the restaurant they told us it would be 2 hours before they could sort anything out the lady spoke to us very rude and unhelpful people do not put yourself in this situation by ordering and getting the outcome we had

Fantastic selection of deserts and ice cream. Very busy at weekends so be prepared to wait but it's worth it! Friendly staff

My kids absolutely love the desserts from here, in particular the Nutella dough and Oreo sundae 👌all I hear from them both is "mmm it's sooo good"! Haha 😊

They have items on there menu but don't do it. I've chosen 2 drinks and they said they didn't do them, they need to update there menu

Very dissapointed once again....everytime iv placed an order with them, they have always gave out my order wrong and no cream on the milkshakes, gave me a waiting time which was 45 minutes to an hour, fair enough even waited over an hour but they can never get my order right. Its ridiculous as i am always try ordering from them but always give the wrong stuff. Orderd mint custard and cake but gave cake and normal custard instead. I wont be ever ordering from them again. It is always that girl who takes the order over the phone so am sure it is her who is always getting it wrong. It is not the first time this has happened! It has happend many times. Also tried calling to get through but they take an awful lot of time just to pick up a phone!!! Atleast pick the phone up and say to hold if you are busy instead of letting the phone ring for so long. Sugar rush has gone down its not a hype anymore due to the service. Food quality is not on point anymore either. I just wouldnt order from here again!!! Thought today il give mysekf the benfit of doubt but i guess i was wrong!!

Rude staff, take ages to get your order, incomplete order.... disgusting waffles and poundland chocolate sauce, really felt sick... we were 3 and that's 3 customers who wont ever think about coming back even if it was a last place on earth

Really slow even when their was hardly anyone there 11.30... maybe because it was my little brother who went there and they gave our orders last and charged us full amount with no cream on the milkshakes, if you're not adding full ingredients dont charge full amount p.s there was like 12 years old working in the shop

Absolutely terrible service! Ordered two milkshakes and two crepes over an hour ago now and yet still have not received anything! When Ubereats messaged me saying it was on its way i waited 20 minutes then called them to be told its 10-15 minutes away its been nearly 40 minutes since the call! Only order from this place if you want to spend your money to eat and drink air!!

This place is simply the best when it comes to satisfying my urge for something sweet. Having been to various dessert spots, this place stands head and shoulders above them all. The selection of ice creams and desserts means you’re spoilt for choice, I’m still working my way through the menu and can honestly say I’ve not been disappointed with any of the ice creams and desserts. The decor and ambience is also amazing as is the level of service provided by the dedicated staff who clearly have a passion for what they do. Give this place a try your tastebuds will thank you for it.

Horrendous customer service, staff are like death warmed up!! long wait for simple orders and at times ignored, had to walk out on more than one occasion not sure why they still in business. The manager needs to recruit better staff or shut up shop. Hope they read this and take action as i wish for anyone running a business to do well but they got a long way to go.

Do Not Eat Here!!!! The Staff are rude. The Owners are ruder !!!! I have eaten here 7 times over the last year. What are the chances that all 7 time the toilet has been out of order? Or the don’t let public use it. I’m sure you have to provide costumers with a toilet ? Maybe I’m wrong? But either way but odd. Maybe the council should check this out!! I will be passing this in to the council and trading standards. (Food is ok. Noting special just close to me so I go) The worst part and what made me write this review was I asked for extra tissue and they said there’s a charge !!! Like wow I try my best to support local business but this place is terrible.

Rude staff, don’t pay attention to what costumer is ordering and when they are told they blame you and say no you didn’t order it that way. The waffles were so over cooked, they were crispy as biscuits. Not going there again.

It's usually very nice, but today they were very under-staffed and the wait was very long, then they got my order wrong and the cake was over dated, it was the worst cake that i have ever tasted, it also made me vomit 🤮🤮🤮 They didn't have any more cake left so i went home with a refund, very upset about this

Always awful customer service and get the order wrong and unwilling to admit their mistake. Ordered a cookie dough off justeat along with other stuff, when the cookie dough arrived it was fully raw and was stuck to both sides of the box and was in a melted runny state. Tried ringing them for 10 mins and they didn’t answer so I had to drive down myself and ask for a new one. After arguing they finally gave me a new cookie dough that wouldn’t give me salmonella poisoning however I told them that my icecream that came with the cookie dough had melted and they told me that it’s not their problem And I should of froze the icecream and still wouldn’t replace it. This awful customer service was shown by the manager, stingy and disgusting behaviour.

You know what, your food is absolutely outstanding!! I really enjoy it. But when people are 'parked' genuinely blocking the road, not even making an attempt to mount the pavement, then I'm going to give you a 1 star. Why can people genuinely just stop in the middle of the road at around 6.30pm when there is a high volume of traffic. Why do you then continue to serve them? I get that you could just say it's not our problem, but you need to sort it out, it's not one offs, it's constant! And I'm sick of it!

Was not happy with the poor service my daughter in particular received on Friday night 22/02. We found a hair in her shake and the worker behind the counter shrugged her off and said not to bother, not a big deal. Needless to say we will be second guessing any future decision to spend our money here....

Ok what desert place in 2019 doesn't have a cone that accommodates two flavours of ice cream...what a shambles might aswell shut shop... ordered candy cone asked for two flavours was refused. Ferrero cheesecake was poor...chocolate heaven was ok... jam rolly Polly was ok. £20 not bad... girl on till was not helpful, girls making ice cream very polite wouldn't recommend try somewhere that is not cash only and looks after its customers better

Gave the wrong food to my cousin and food not too great.

I ordered through just eat and my order came wrong, I ordered a nutty waffle and end up getting a plain chocolate waffle, wasn’t very pleased!

Ordered and waited two hours. They didn't pick up the phone. Then they called back ten minutes later and said they're starting on the order now...and we had to wait an extra hour. Terrible.

Beautiful interior and welcoming staff. Great variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. I bought a ferrero cake which was super dry much to my disappointment. I let the staff know and they apologized and gladly arranged for an exchange for another chcolate cake variety which was delicious. Overall good experience.
