Blaming driver saying he delivered wrong food when bag has correct name…

This used to be my place to go. But recently. It's gone down hill. There's no love in the food. And it's now one of the worst in oldham. I rang up asked about the milkshake. They forgot previously. He said not giving another one. Ring up next time. ( sort your stinky attitude out. Iv ordered for 5 years. From here. Your attitude to loyal customers is atteotious. And also. The food. Is consistently. Cold. When I recieve it. Soggy chips. Look like it's been on a rally track before it gets to me. Not good this lads. I'm fair and honest. And this is more of note to the manager. Sort your staff out. And get it back up and running good again. And I'll change my review. Edit to this review. I'm fully done now. With your shoddy service. Last 4 orders have been wrong. And charged for milkshakes with no milkshakes coming. Food made me ill yesterday. Realy gone down hill. No respect for food. Or hygiene. Stay well clear from here. Try another one. Oldham as loads more takeaways better tha. Here. Now. Shame realy. Can't keep ordering from somewhere who dosnt value it's customers.

There were small pieces of bone in chicken sandwich and lutac was not fresh over all it was not fresh food. Will not order again

I don't know how this place hasn't been shut down. The chicken smells really bad and I know a lot of people can agree. It smells like horse manure and most likely outdated chicken. This place needs to be checked by the FSA asap.

What annoys me most is that no-one has mentioned in the reviews that this place is owned by Florida Fried Chicken which is within 2 mins of this shop?! It is basically the same F'in burger and packaging/sauces. Tastes just as bad as Florida's, wouldn't recommend.

Laughed at for taking a chicken burger back. Chicken was spaghetti stringy, slimey, wet somehow and smelt funny. Was told I’d already eaten it all, didn’t realise it was bad until I went to take second bite! Sickening and praying no food poisoning coming. Won’t be back.

Burger felt off and not fresh. Had dark/grey bits in the burger unfortunately. Normally a really good burger spot but quality was not up to scratch.

Stale food cold soggy chips and old chicken in burgers that taste and smell off and old chicken wings absolutely disgusting food 😤 my mum and my brother had their burgers and We all said the same thing about the tase being off and old chicken, i rang up to speak to the manager but staff were soo rude and didn't let me speak to the manager and said you have already eaten some of the burgers!! like how stupid is that to say? How will i know its off without taking a few bites! Then my brother rang and spoke to someone who pretended to be the manager and lied to us saying to he will send the more of the same food we ordered but never sent anything bloody liars! Not happy at all never going to order from here again i wish i there was option for no stars, they dont even deserve one star😤🤬

I am absolutely appalled by the service I received at Virginia Oldham. The cashier at the front desk was incredibly rude and had no idea how to communicate with customers. Their unprofessional behavior and complete lack of basic manners made the entire experience unpleasant and frustrating. It’s shocking that someone with such poor customer service skills is allowed to represent your business. I expected far better and am extremely disappointed. This level of service is unacceptable, and I will not be returning.

Food never turned up, called the shop they told us it’s nothing to do with them it’s the just eat driver, offered no resolution after waiting nearly 2 hours for our food saying it was sent out ages ago, this is all after we gave them another chance after delivering a raw burger, I would never eat or order from this place again customer service and food is awful!

Ordered for delivery 13/12/2024 and nothing received. Contacted by phone and staff were rude and obnoxious. Suggested I speak to 'the boss' the following day as 'they never have enough drivers available'. Just Eat should remove this shop from their app as they obviously don't understand customer service and are giving Just Eat a bad reputation.

Ordered over the phone on Friday night, lovely lad, ordered for 5 people came within 30 mins! Fresh piping hot food hit the spot would definitely recommend the spicy cheese burger and spicy chicken wrap. Also my daughter really liked the boba tea haven’t tried it for myself yet but definitely on the list for my next order

I just placed an order on uber eats chicken wrap sald and ketchup on it but Iv got with mayonnaise on it and I have got allergic with mayonnaise and I rang the shop they said they can not do anything how rude is that ? That’s awful

The food was cold and stale. The wings looked like someone had ate them truly disgusting their behaviour to resolve the issue is appalling I don’t understand how they can run such an establishment. Never order from here again. Bare in mind I have not touched anything and look at the wing.

Half of the order missing, 2 spicy burger meals and 10 chicken wings. I called Virginia's and they did not care! they told me just contact justeat to get a refund because apparently its not their problem! I have been ordering from Virginia for 20 plus years and today they no longer care if their customers get the food they paid for! I won't be ordering food from here ever again. you have lost a loyal customer.

Our all-time favourite takeaway ❤️ always buy wrap and burger meal and also family buckets. Plus, booba and shakes on point chicken 🐔. Highly recommended

Virginia's was my number one until a while back. I stopped going as the chicken fillet in the burgers seemed to be really thin compared to their competitors. A few days ago I thought I'll try it again to see if they've improved, unfortunately they haven't. Infact, it seems to have got worse as the chicken fillet seemed thinner than before and the portion on the chips was tiny. All 5 meals I ordered were the same.

4 of us went here and ordered food and it was like rubber. The wrap was not soft or fresh at all. Seemed frozen and cooked. Food was cold and like rubber. Took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. We stood for 20 minutes before we got food. Lots of foreign guys lurking around inside and out, so definitely not for a family environment. The workers were really nice, smiling and polite. Workers seem like they were forced to do the job on penny's. Felt sorry for them. The main guys serving and the owner have a bad attitude. They looked down on us because we weren't Arabs. Racist. Food is very expensive and not worth it for what it is. If you are a Bangali, Pakistani or Indian then avoid this junk. It's cold, plain tasteless food. All the college kids that eat this garbage are harming themselves big time. The workers & owners themselves don't eat this garbage! Avoid.

Use to be my favourite. The quality control has gone down. The last few visits the chicken wings have a bad taste like they didn't wash them. It never used to be like this. The chips were soggy. The wraps are premade so they are not fresh even if you sit in and eat. Guys what have you done to the place. I guess you're very busy so couldn't keep up the high standard you had.

Absolutely rubbish customer service! Forgot sum of pur order and when you call them thy can't come back out again but yes vv paid for the food so we want it. How can it be that the food is good only 50% of the time The rest of the time the batter is off and the chicken tastes like its just come out of the sewer.

Really good fried chicken and burgers (especially the zinger meal), kind and helpful staff, and the dine in upstairs is nice as well. The only thing that I would suggest to improve the servicd is that the staff that comes at 6 PM needs to cook the chicken properly since once I have went there between 6 and 7 evening, ordered fried pieces of chicken and wings but the chicken pieces turned out to be a bit raw from inside the chicken. Overall, the FC restaurant is really nice!

Serious drop off in quality in recent years. Used to be the go to takeaway from Oldham but complacency’s settled in, the food is always pre-made and dry by the time it’s served.

I came here for a takeaway after a night out. I was able to order quickly, pay and go eat my food. The food is always great, warm and really tasty.

These are the best Value KFC alternative. If you don't want to be ripped off by KFC. Food is exceptional...Delivery service exceptional...everything exceptional. My No.1 takeaway and as I write this review i received delivery. Many thanks

Best hot sauce on the market That's what really separates this place from the rest The chicken itself is average But it's the sauce that gives it the edge it's very flavourful and has the the right amount of kick for the chilli lovers

Wife and son has gotten food poisoning from the chicken burgers

This was once the go to place! Uber eats arrived 1h late on a bicycle. Not ordered from here for about 3years and was looking forward to my food. Should have checked the recent reviews. Chicken freeing cold and wings just cold and dry. The burger was a chicken and meat burger was proper looking forward to this! Yeah this was cold and soggy.. Tried to call the shop and had no response as phone was engaged (it is Saturday and busy. I get it) but. Yeah over all I was really annoyed and frustrated as it was late and cold.

When you don’t know what to get and you’re hungry, this is the default spot. Get your burgers, wings, chips, milkshakes, pretty much tasty every damn time

I ordered spicy hot wings, and it arrived on time, but they were completely soggy, undercooked and weren’t spicy at all. The portion of chips was also tiny. Disappointed with the quality of food here. Sorry to say that I won’t be going here again. Total waste of money.

Virginia was once an amazing Place for food. The customer service was brilliant and the food quality was also good but over the past few years I believe this place has gone down hill. I have had food from here a few times now in the past month and unfortunately it doesnt hit the spot anymore, the quality of food is poor and customer service is bad. However on the other hand I have been visiting Georgia Fried Chicken for a few months now and their Customer Service is always on point, and the quality of food is spot on. Never had any issues with them at all.

I loved Virginia’s for years, but the past few months it’s been slacking. The chicken taste off, and they don’t make the food with love anymore. Am really disappointed with the outcome, unfortunately after many years of loyalty to the chicken shop am afraid I’ll be going vegan, that’s how bad the food is.

We drive 30 mins to get here as its the best chicken place I have eaten at, food is always hot and fresh 100% reccomend

Got our order wrong, rang up was told to either wait another hour after already waiting an hour or wait until next time, absolute joke of customer service, partner had to take all of the food back and gone else where, my guess is they will probably sell the food we took back again would not recommend to anyone

Every weekend I look for a different place to order from then end up coming back to Virginias, one of my most favourite places to eat from there food gets delivered steaming hot never have a complain about there food or service, easy to place orders over the phone and on food apps, definitely will just stick to this place we never get bored of it, and the chips are lovely there give you a great portion, thanks guys your all doing amazing ☺️

My family really enjoyed it as they are not from round here but was a bit unimpressed with the burger. So, I ordered 1 burger spicy with cheese and 3 wings got charged £11.90 I was told to come back but I was working till 6 so I was told they will leave a note by the till, I came to the store just to get told there’s no note and that I will need to come back tomorrow for the money rather than sorting the issue because it’s a hassle for something that’s there mistake, pointless for me to come back and waste fuel. But nevertheless the staff need to pay attention so check your orders and how much you pay

I recently tried the fried chicken burger and a wrap from this establishment and, unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The taste was unmistakably off, as if it had been left out for far too long and had gone past its expiration date. The burger emitted an unpleasant stench that made it almost unbearable to even take a bite. Regrettably, I couldn't stomach more than a single bite before feeling nauseous. As soon as that bite hit my taste buds, my body reflexively rejected it, forcing me to vomit. This was an incredibly unpleasant experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. The overall quality of the burger left much to be desired. The texture of the chicken was also subpar, lacking any crispiness or tenderness that one would expect from a well-made fried chicken burger. Coupled with the off-putting odor and taste, it was difficult to find any redeeming qualities in this dish. I must emphasize the importance of freshness and proper food handling in any establishment, especially those that serve food to customers. It's disheartening to encounter such an unpleasant and potentially harmful experience. I sincerely hope that the establishment takes this feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure that no one else has to endure a similar ordeal.

My grandchildren they love their chicken wraps, so when they come from Bradford we order every day for them because they don't have Virginia near them in Bradford, one of my daughter (H) she loves their chicken wraps, she's always having it. She got my grandchildren addicted to Virginias, so we have to order when they come The prices have gone up A bit expensive now But the food is the best
