Spice Shak in Oldham

Ordered food to open iftar asked for it to be delivered at 6pm and perfectly arrived on time . Burgers amazing but the pizza with tikka keema was very good . Very happy

Thank god I ordered extra sausage for £1.70 as they literally put 10 slices of pepperoni on a large pepperoni pizza. Joke!

Ordered online on the app as it was supposed to be open till 3 am ordered at 1.04am took my money then sent me an email to let me know they had closed the buisness 2 hour too early according to the times they have

Undercooked pizza dough, had to put it in the oven resulting in overcooked chicken and meat, tashe wasn't too bad tho which helped slightly, won't be ordering again tho

just ordered some food as we are all hungry and have nothing in, one kebab is freezing cold and they forgot my naan bread!!!!! tried calling and no answer. want a refund and it's unacceptable

Ordered online, no sign of delivery. Waited an extra 20 minutes just in case it was traffic. Ring up, tell them my address and guy tells me what I ordered. Says he'll track down the delivery guy. Comes back several minutes later and says the order didn't come up on their system and did I want it sorting now or a refund. Of course I went for refund....you literally just told me what I ordered so it wasn't even slightly convincing. I won't bother in future.

Chicken tikka that well done that it was inedible. Ordered two kebabs with salad and received no salad

Ordered through Uber Eats. Estimated delivery time 40mins. 50mins later my order was cancelled as we’re apparently outside the delivery area. Don’t care whether it’s the shop or Uber at fault. What a joke.

By far the best pizza place around. It’s always hot and fresh no matter the time of day, staff always hospitable also! Pizza subs are to die for, keep up the great works brothers👍🏻

Service is poor. They lie to you about what food is available then serve the next people In the queue the meal they just told you wasn’t available. Order was wrong, burnt and expensive. When you ask why you were told something wasn’t available but the next people in the queue were served the exact same thing you asked for you get screamed at by the man behind the counter because they’re busy and it’s late How hard can it be to do cheeesy garlic bread

CAN'T BELIEVE THERE ARE SO MANY POOR REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE!! We have something from here at least once a week, including Kebabs, Pizzas and Curries. The Curries and Pizzas are restaurant quality!!.... Always hot, tasty and good VFM 👍

Great at weekends (plenty of staff)went Monday 10th October had to return pizzas undercooked!!! No apologies.very poor.

Kebabs are best in Oldham without doubt always bang on never let me down. Delivery is exceptionally fast and service is spot on

Doesn't even deserve one star. Was told order would be 45 minutes took well over an hour had to ring up to chase the delivery. Food was cold and pizza was all squashed in open box. Everything was just thrown together in bag. Paid £26 it wasn't even worth 26p! Terrible food, shocking service! id advise all to avoid having food from this place go next door to tokes much better food there.

Really good place to go for food

I ordered a two meat kabab on nan, which was chicken tikka and lamb tikka with no chilli’s. When I got my order, I had a few pieces of chicken tikka and loads of donner meat which I don’t like. ( packed with salt) and chilli’s. I’ve added pictures, I phoned the takeaway to complain, the guy just said I’ll send you some lamb, I said no an wanted a new kebab. When I finally got it, I opened the paper and foil, an it just fell apart on my hands, and looked like slop. I think they didn’t like a complaint. For the prices we pay it’s a joke.

Popadoms not edible, chips cold, samosas cold and didnt taste fresh, curry okay ish but now have a funny stomach.

1st time ordering from here its awful, the lot has gone in the bin after the first few mouthfuls, food doesn't taste fresh and found a hair in the nan bread, will certainly not be ordering from here again

Ordered couple of pizzas and curries yesterday. Pizza was completely wrong, onion bhaji was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Curries were more grease and fat than curry. Phoned to complain, wad told i would get 10% off the next order?? What good is that when the food i have now is inedible? Managed to get a replacement pizza off them but will forever avoid this place. Its the second time they have badly let me down.

If you enjoy being shouted at and just being plain rude staff interaction then this place is for you. Absolutely terrible telephone manner, first and the very last time we try this place. Quarter pounder burgers, you must be joking. Thin bland patty's with undercooked chips. Could have done 100% better myself. Avoid at all costs...not even worth 1 star.

Such rude staff since someone has left. I'm really disappointed - I used to love this place. Edit: July 2020 - 12 months after first review: Staff are SO rude to customers it's untrue. Especially on the telephone. When sat in the shop and you hear a customer on the telephone it makes you sick how they are being dealt with. Also, if you order a 12" meat feast pizza.... Foot luck as you'll get a 10"! So much to feeding all the.family!

Someone needs to explain to these people they're in the 'fast food' business. Ordered over the phone to be told it would be an hour delivery. Not ideal but fair enough. After waiting an hour and a quarter we had to chase them up (no courtesy call from Spice Shak updating us). Got told they were experiencing difficulties? Still no update on how long. After waiting nearly an hour and a half we phoned back with still no indication of delivery so we reluctantly cancelled the order - and went to the chippy. Definitely won't use Spice Shak again.

Bad service, taking nearly 2 hours for delivery so we cancelled our order. First and last time ee will order.

Excellent food the £5 deal is a bargain the masala sauce with I touch of spice was unexpected made it perfect ordering again would highly recommend for curry and kebab

Until recently we had never had a bad meal from here,However the last one was not chicken tikka and it was watered down and tasteless.

Shocking curry tonight.... watered down chicken tikka masala with 3 pieces of chicken it total. Tasteless and will certainly never return again.

You will never get a bad meal from here.

The food is excellent every time and their service is impeccable and extremely friendly.

We order from Royton Kitchen once a week and we have never had a bad meal in 6 months!!! Thank you Naz and the team keep up the good work. Look forward to plenty of nice meals in 2018 (thanks for the Christmas card).

Great curry house. Meals seem to be cooked with healthier ingredients (some of the meals aren't overloaded with ghee).
