Never got a chance to try the food , staff seemed more interested in sitting chatting to friends than notice they had new customers.

Dropped in for a cuppa and a snack... great selection only marred by the fact that they had run out of wheaten bread for the soup and hollandaise sauce for my eggs benedict but they put on an alternative and food and hot drinks were excellent. We will be back.

Visited with my daughter, welcomed immediately, placed our ordered, fry and a panini with teas, all arrived quickly, hot and presented great, tea top up too, staff were attentive and friendly. Reasonably priced, some of the other cafes in Ards take note, this is how it should be done! Will definitely be back. 👍🏼

This is what a cafe should be! Small (maybe too small to turn a decent profit, I fear) and not at all swanky, but made great by three things. First is staff who call you 'dear' or 'love'. Nothing makes me feel more welcome. Second, the fry was super. it was hot and well cooked and not at at all greasy. A clear 9/10 on the Ulster Fry No1 scale. Third, at £4 for a small fry, £5 for a big one, including a pot of tea, it's a great price. Go big! They do phone-in orders and carry out and will deliver a big order. Unfortunately no wifi; they'll need it to attract more custom. Hope you do well folks!

Small portions and expensive prices compared to what they once were. Better options available locally i.e. the pit stop in Bangor has a far better portion for a similar price at similar or better quality.

The Wildfowler has been closed well over a year! The owner should update or remove the restaurant from online pages. Very sad. I remember this was a great place even when I was young. It would be amazing to see it re-open, the fact that it was dog friendly added to the appeal. A terrible loss on the peninsula
