I went in to see the same staff member as I do almost every time I come in and he was once again alone, he sounded quite off today, so as per usual I started to talk with him and he said he was ill, little confused and wanting to know more I asked what’s wrong. He said he was sick and that he had messaged his manger the night before saying he was ill, he then said that his manger called him at 7am to get him to work (very illegal) . The law states that if an employee has thrown up then they aren’t allowed to work with food for 48 hours after all symptoms have stopped. So getting this man to work on the day he tried calling off is sickening. 1. People should be resting when I’ll not working. 2. What if other people get ill form him, you single-handedly could cause an outbreak. 3. Your telling me that a company of this size doesn’t have 1 person that can cover a shift ( if not this shows how bad they treat staff and how little people want to work here) Over all, the staff member was polite as always, had a nice conversation with me and prepared my food quickly and neatly, the food it self was okay, I wouldn’t say it’s worth the amount of money I spent though.

Food here is either cold, missing ingredients or just awfully packed. Even when ordering online it is barely ever toasted and missing the cheese. Staff is also quite rude and dismissive.

Don’t understand why this is reviewed so badly, it’s just a Subway and whilst it may not be amazing (because again, it’s a subway) it’s no where near as bad as some I’ve been to. It’s always been clean, staff are polite and I’ve not had one issue with it.

I would not recommend this place at all, my food was made fine and the staff member that served me was very polite, but he was in his own once again, I usually would get a subway as a snack after work or even during but the last few time I have been it’s been the same staff member there and he’s always alone, he always seems stressed out due to how busy the store is and the little support there is, it’s not just him though I’ve seen another girl there alone but she always has a headphone in and isn’t as polite as the other staff in the store, never the less she’s alone.

Messed up my order, sent completely wrong sandwich. Phoned up to complain, said they could do nothing. Paid £19 for 2 footlongs, said if there was a problem to order and pay again. No effort to rectify problem despite admitting the issue came from them not reading the orders. I didn’t want much just the food I paid for

There is too much litter outside this shop. I appreciate that this is due to a combination of problems, e.g. nearby bins not emptied frequently enough by council so overflow and its not just litter from this shop but others nearby. However, the litter on the street is worst outside this shop and its been a persistent problem for a long time now. I just don't understand why any shop owner/manager wouldn't get out there and just clean up periodically.

Helpful staff trying to get me to try new items available, even offering me small tasters which I appreciated, however, I do not eat processed meats so always get the same veggie delight. It's reasonably priced and the staff are really nice.

Bought a tuna sub to take home for lunch after walking in Sefton Park. Never been to this outlet before but pleased to say the quality was as good as other branches. Delish

I am absolutely appalled at the management team within Hunts Cross McDonald’s, the way staff speak to customers and employees is disgusting. Managers very much look down on other employees when working, and often don’t treat them with the deserved respect. The owner should really consider looking into this.

As I work not far from this branch, my children asked if I could get them a meal on the way home, so I ordered the party bucket meal. I had to wait about 10 minutes for it, and once I received my order, I went home. I opened the bucket and was presented with 14 pieces of overcooked chicken that were soft, not even crispy, and swimming in oil, they were so hot. We ate the smaller pieces, but the larger ones were uneditable to eat as I hate oil like that on my food. It's like the chicken had been refried it was the most degusting chicken I have every see. So took the bucket back the next day and was only give 6 pieces back. I'm never getting food from here again. PLEASE CHECK FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Should have taken a pic when I opened it, but the chicken was over cooked and full of oil.

Order pizza gatlice bread and two fries. New staff. Order regular from here. But lately since new staff it's gone terrible. Over coked fries. We also ordered pop chicken which was too over ccooked. Pizza was sloppy. Sooooo disappointed

I went into M and S for a tea and bit of Brunch there was a queue on entry, it was 1in 1 out, I ordered a toasted sandwich and tea. Tea was in a paper cup and sandwich was served in a paper bag, no plate and disposable cutlery, the food and drink was nice quite expensive, considering the way it was served, Won’t be going again not M and S normal high standard
