I ordered some sides. 1x cheese pizza slice, 2x pepperoni slices & 1x garlic bread. If you like tinned tomatoes poured over your bread, then go there. I tried to order a salad box, I watched the young man scrape lettuce from the bottom of 2 tubs and put it in a box. I asked if I could have fresh lettuce as this was all brown and soggy and his reply "We don't have anymore lettuce" I asked if they don't have any at all and his reply was "No".. I advised I didn't want the salad then, he tipped it all in the bin (where it should have been anyway) there was no grated cheese. This was around 4pm and it didn't close til 8pm!! I feel like he just couldn't be arsed to get the stock out the back. As it was busy and continued to be busy afterwards, I can't imagine that many people be happy with ingredients not being available. I would also like to add that my partner had to go back with the sides, as they weren't even toasted properly. The presentation was minging too. ALSO this boy didn't change his gloves once whilst I was in there. And dealing with everyone's food, handles on the ovens and the tills etc. Not clean in the slightest, kinda glad there was "No Lettuce". I will be complaining to Subway, disgusting standard of service

The guy working in the cash machine was great but the woman doing the sandwiches isn't at all. It has nothing on it, I'm eating bread with bread and no condiments. Don't go in if she's there, you won't get a nice sandwich.

Orange juice passed it's best before date. When we pointed it out we were told quite confrontationally that it was a best before date, not a use by date. What about the rest of the food?? Either bad stock management or buying reduced cost stock to make an extra buck!

Located inside mini service station with fuel service tills, general shop, Subway & Greggs. Free public toilets for shoppers. Also, EV charging and several vehicle hand-held jet wash booths. Situated next to Aldi on Watkin Way. Subway was only staffed by a single person, so service was somewhat slower than expected. Carbonated drinks machine was out of syrup. Eating area wasn't particularly clean. Food was okay.

I would usually go to Greggs next door for a sandwich but the queue was very long for them so thought I would try the subway as I had been a few times in the past, service isn't great as staff are usually overrun and not trained properly, the long hair blonde woman that served me might have been managerial but I really couldn't say as she didn't give off the impression, I asked for a footlong chicken&bacon and I honestly felt like I was inconveniencing her even though she was just stood in the back on her phone as I arrived, I asked for grated cheese to be told she didn't have enough staff to make a new pot(I would have waited for her to do it but she didn't even attempt), all the salad looked sad and wilted, tomatoes and cucumbers frozen to the side of the tubs. Sandwich was fine but would have expected it to be wrapped in gold due to the price. Service 0.5 Food 3 Atmosphere 0 Staffing needs to be better.

We asked for a cup of water as my friend was feeling hot and ill and they said it’s £1.69 for a cup so we said it’s the law to give us one and she said no it’s not we went to Greggs and they gave us one straight away.

Slowest service I’ve ever received, which is strange because it wasn’t busy in the slightest. Got asked what bread I wanted, got told they don’t have any of the one I was literally pointing at and asking for. Sandwich wasn’t wrapped properly so was spilling out in the car before I got to eat it. Don’t go not worth it.

Came in today with only one member of staff and the place absolutely packed. Hands down to the server (trey) he remained calm. Seved every single customer with a smile and brilliant customer service and no interruption to food quality. Will make a fantastic manager if he isn't already one, excellent management skills. Food as always. Delicious. Regardless of the staffing issues service was prompt. Love the cheesy garlic bread.

Usually this would be a 5 star but today I’m very disappointed the WOMAN can’t can’t handle the pressure of 5 customers spilling food just being a cluts I don’t like to see food wasted she can’t even get my flipping order right how hard is 2 margarita slice and 1 pepperoni slice I did not get my pepperoni slice absolute useless woman where sre the two men that work there they are quick efficient and have never ever had a problem with them they know how easy it is to make a flipping sandwich come on subway hire better

Staff were very unenthusiastic, the “fresh” ingredients were frozen to the tub, I had to double up on my meat due to staff being tightfisted with the filling, same with the vegetables, literally looked like the staff didn’t want to be there, I know not every job is enjoyable but if you’re serving the public, at least put some enthusiasm into your job,

Unfortunately they were out of crispy onion and sweetcorn. When I asked for tapwater I was refused and told I need to pay for the cup. Every subway I've ever been to has provided tap water. Why not this one? Staff were polite and food i had was not of bad quality.

We went to get food from here recently. My Partner asked for fresh lettuce, which is her right, to which he replied he hasn't got time as there are other customers, funny that as the only other customer was being served by the other girl behind the counter. The employee, a male named Oz, just mouthed off at her. Cut a long story short, he actually lost it, three times, even stood there with his face contorted with anger. My Partner did nothing wrong, she only said that he shouldn't be so rude and that she thought that the customer was right, no shouting or swearing or anything like that, it all came from him ... all over some fresh lettuce. I reported this to the area manager Tracey, who was a complete utter waste of time. She replied to my complaint by saying irrelevant things like staffing is difficult in the hospitality industry ... And that's our problem, HOW? I have now requested a Subject Access Request ascertaining the incident as it seems this Tracey has been sucked in by lies from her staff. It also seems that she is trying to ban me from the garage that this Subway is situated.

I used to eat at this Subway daily but the over stretched manager was fired, no surprise that his working excessive hours and weeks without days off gave him no loyalty from the boss. Since his departure standards have plummeted. I have been served dry crumbling bread, which is how stale bread is. Only to be told that it's not stale. When you pick up your sub and the bread falls apart, it's not fresh moist bread. I have also noticed that there have been some strange practices and flies around the food. Defrosting ham by placing it in a pot on the hot Bain Marie where sauce and meatballs are kept. The outside of the ham would cook as the core defrosts. On my last and final visit, the flies were out in force. Time for a device to kill them.

The bread I chose was very over done, the girl put plenty of filling and I didn't want it toasting but as I started to eat it the bread was so stale I could crumble it to almost a powder, a big let down as I have the same one whenever I have a subway, this was first time using this one and definitely the last time I will go there.

Not a great service at all, really letting the subway name down compared to my past subway experiences. The server had a negative attitude and talked down to myself and other customers, as well as giving me 2 ill prepared sandwiches to leave with. "Have it your way" was ignored on all aspects, I understand with certain sandwich components but when asking for a few more olive slices was told "no you can only have six" which i have never had or heard before from other stores. All in all a pretty poor service I wanted to make you aware of.

Don't bother ordering from this place and don't expect the customer service you deserve, especially at 7.15pm when they want to "clock off early". I ordered x2 meal deal footlong subs (specific ingredients in each sub due to me and my mum only being able to eat specific things), with the meal deal you are SUPPOSED to (and I say this with upmost importance since I paid for a meal deal, I expect to have one...) get x2 drinks, x2 cookies and x2 crisps, I also ordered lightly salted nachos, tortilla chicken bites, x3 RAINBOW cookies and x3 chocolate ones. This was clearly too complex to get the correct order and for almost £30 I would have expected for it not only to be correct but also with a sincere apology and not a mouthy "young adult" at the door. As we received our order we thought it had come pretty quick considering it came around 7.45pm and not the designated 8.15pm-8.30pm time slot. To our dismay, we received both subs, with NO DRINKS, NO CRISPS, NO RAINBOW COOKIES and NO NACHOS!! - we rang up asking for the rest of our order to which a woman responded with "I'll send them to you now" (okay fair enough and rightly so), now whilst biting into MY PERSONALISED SUB they got the ingredients correct but the BREAD WRONG. Therefore my mum and myself could not eat the subs (due to health requirements). We rang 5 TIMES! And no answer, even though this was all before 8pm (the ACTUAL CLOSING TIME), the "young adult" appeared at the door and once again was about to dart off! (NOT even an apology) - we explained we couldn't eat the subs and his reply was "the place is closed now", we asked POLITELY if he could get the original female back on the phone with us so we could have a discussion about either a new subway or some form of refund, this young man decides to not only tell us repeatedly it's closed and "not his problem" but also how we shouldn't speak to him like that?! - there was no impolite manner from us only from this young, impatient boy. He also informed us that WE ARE WRONG and how he watched the woman make those subs from fresh with everything correct (what happened to the customer is always right? - I guess that's out the window when you want to leave early.). We again inform him the ingredients in the sub are correct but the BREAD and the SAUCE however is not and has been switched around to which non of us can eat them. After WE inform him that we aren't "having a go", he tells us he will inform his colleague and get her to ring us back. Whilst sitting and wondering how only half of the order is actually edible if I'm ever going to get this meal sorted. It's now 8.45pm and I have HEARD NOTHING BACK! If I don't get a refund for not only having my time wasted, messing up the orders and being spoken to DISRESPECTFULLY, I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN.

Ordered the food at 1:10pm and got it at 4:10. Ordered through just eat and they wrongly update there service number of times. Called up and advised under staffed and not updated any services. Wrap came destroyed and not toasted. Not drivers fault as wrap came in a box and way destroyed was restaurants fault while not toasted as requested. From 3 times ordered from here I can easy say this is most shocking service yet. p.s for the management at subway in Ruabon. You have items listed for £99.99 on just eat app.

Discussed with the food I had 3 foot longs which was £21 all most but the filling didn't exist there was just a little bit in the middle the ends had nothing on them the girl that survived me tried telling me that's all they are aloud to put on them she also told me that they had to pay for there food now well I told her I would never go there again every other subway I have been to fills your bread rolls I would save your time and go elsewhere

Disaster of a store. This on is owned by sublime. They are primarily a Merseyside based franchise so maybe I should say no more..... Bread was deflated and burnt. Staff were confused at simple requests and after speaking to upper management I'm not surprised. Shout out to Tracey the area manager who has no personal skills what so ever

Fantastic service. The lady who served me was very polite nice and clearly happy with her job. It's always so much better when you get served with a smile rather then someone who doesn't want to be there. And of course our breakfast sub was on point. Keep it up 🙂

I ordered 7 meals through Just Eat as a Christmas treat for the participants I work with. Waiting time wasn't too bad so no complaints there. When the order arrived, once checked, there were three items missing from the order, one being the infamous gravy. I called them to report the missing items only to be told "I won't send a driver back to you with the missing items as it's not worth it! Can you come into store to pick them up?" Firstly, the driver only delivered the items they had been given to them to deliver so KFC should think of this as 'worth it' as it was their error. Secondly, I would have came into store to order and pick up in the first instance if that was an option... hence using Just Eat. I then got told to get a refund from Just Eat if I couldn't get to the shop. Lousy customer service ultimately loses customers!

We've been ordering from here for years and never had an issue, unfortunately tonight we were victim to sexism. I placed an order for collection as I usually do and when THEY got it wrong my husband was told to order it next time as 'he would get it right'. Absolutely disgusted at having to write this review as never had an issue like this before but please be mindful when ladies order from here as they obviously prefer to take orders from males
