Food took the absolute joke to come when arrived freezing cold and instructions die on the Oder where not made correctly very disappointed will not be ordering again

My order was freezing cold had never been toasted like ordered

I travel a lot and always eat at subway this is the best one in the country clean polite fast the middle aged woman with red hair Sharon I think is so good she should be the uk boss of all subways or head of training amazing worker you should pay her triple

If I could give Subway zero stars, I would. The place was unbearably hot with no air conditioning, and it felt like I was cooking along with the subs. The heat inside was suffocating, making the whole experience uncomfortable and miserable. The food wasn’t worth the hassle either—completely bland and disappointing. For a takeaway spot, it should at least be tolerable to walk in, but this was just awful. Never going back.

Very pathetic store with extremely unpleasant customer service. I've had sandwiches from here before, so I understand they don’t have a toaster and only a microwave. However, today’s experience was beyond disappointing. The sandwich I got was completely covered in mould after being microwaved—I could literally see it. Previous employees used to at least change the paper when it got wet, but today the staff didn’t even bother with that. I’m extremely disappointed and won't be coming back.

I visited this Subway location this morning, and I was extremely disappointed. The lady with pink hair at the counter was incredibly slow, and despite having a line of customers, she chose to continue chatting with a guy rather than serving the waiting customers. The worst part was the cross-contamination of meats, which is absolutely unacceptable. I was disgusted by the lack of hygiene. On top of that, they didn’t even have a toaster available. The sub I received was poorly made, with ingredients spilling out everywhere. I definitely won’t be returning to this location.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this but this was by far the worst subway or any Sandwich that I’ve ever eaten. The bread was stale, they had no sweetcorn or apparently don’t use sweetcorn and then to find out at the end that there is no toaster has got to be a sick joke. Also the man forgot to give my sandwich and did another customers first (wish he did) Also why tf is it so hot in there

I’m not normally one to complain but I’ve ordered a subway wrap tonight and started eating it to suddenly realise it was covered in MOULD. Ordered through Deliveroo and explain how that could make someone seriously sick and was refused a refund. Have ordered from here before and always seem to have a problem with incorrect orders ect. and usually brush it off as “oh well”, But this was the final straw. Personally I would suggest avoiding both this subway and Deliveroo at all costs if that’s the response they provide when providing food that could potentially make people sick. Just absolutely disgusted with the whole experience.

I came in yesterday lunch time for a sandwich as I was in a rush for work I found the 2 people on the counters very fast passed and a nice atmosphere all round I'll definitely be back again Sarah.

After a long journey from Leicester to Newcastle upon tyne late at night with a hungry stomach and will go survive, the only thing that kept me going was the subway I saw just outside the station. The subways have always been the best option for me. When I went here in Neville Street's subway right across the station, I got good service from dear Indian friends Pratyush and Sid. I was new in Newcastle upon tyne and it was late night but Pratyush and Sid told me everything that I should know about Newcastle city. They are super friendly, cheers to them. And after this long hunger and tiresome journey, the subway I had was a sandwich that came from heaven. I enjoyed it like a baby haha. But jokes are apart, the subways have always been my preferred option and I always know why they are with their food, great service and smile on the faces of their staff.

I visited Subway for dinner and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with both the service and the food! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Sid, who provided top-notch service throughout my entire dining experience. Not only was Sid attentive and friendly, but he also went above and beyond to ensure that my sandwich was made exactly to my liking. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. As for the food itself, it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the bread was perfect and the flavors were simply fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend Subway to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. And a special shoutout to Sid for making my visit extra special with his exceptional service. I will definitely be returning soon!😉

Idiots, can’t even read off of a simple just eat delivery order. Not once did we put down we want cheese, both sandwiches got cheese. Both sandwiches were requested with toasted, not 1 sandwich was toasted. Oh and the delivery driver was almost 20 minutes late (this I can kind of understand because it is Newcastle)

My friend and I got Subway before the train, and we both ate the same Subway and otherwise had all the same food as our other friends. Hours later we both felt extremely sick and threw up and had diarrhea all night. It was definitely food poisoning from Subway, and the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced. I've tried to complain through Corporate, but all of their feedback services aren't working and so I'm doing a google review, which I rarely do. I also see other food poisoning and hygiene issue in other reviews for this location. Buyer beware of potential food poisoning, and will the owners please do something so other customers do not experience what we did!

First of all , the service was appalling as an angry middle aged woman revealed no enthusiasm for her work and put in little to zero effort which resulted in me having an only slightly toasted sun accompanied with nachos with hardly any cheese or jalapeños. Well and truly money not well spent.

Got a 12” sub today and the bread was rock hard. Biting into it was like chewing brick. 0/10

Stale and hard Items cold Items extremely late 1hr 30 delivery should have been 20-50 mins Meatball sandwich given with mainly salad and sauce less meatballs than usual Subway; If you have ran out of ingredients or are low with them unexpectedly, just let the customer know and offer refund or alternative. Don't just send a half made items or miss off items altogether Actual shocking service.

Restaurant didn't answer phone after 3 attempts Driver sat outside restaurant for ages before picking up food which is freezing Then got a notification saying the driver was outside which he wasn't, I stood there for over 10 minutes with no sign of him and then I see him coming from round the back of a neighbours house? All the food was cold on arrival it wasn't even toasted everything freezing . Nacho was a mess nothing in it no cheese. Chicken nacho was freezing and dip was poured on the chicken very disappointed with this order I can't believe anyone would eat it like that

The worst Subway I’ve ever been a recepient of! Unfortunately there was a solitary member of staff at the helm. He was trying his best to supply the queue with relavant sustainance. However, underperformed due to being understaffed and inequipped to succeed in his role, he failed on multiple accounts. When asked for a foot long the lovely employee specified that there was no salami, which is necessary for an Italian BMT. He offered additional ham in compensation for the lack of ham. Unfortunately on arrival at my home address it was evident that no additional ham existed, in fact there was only two slices of ham residing in the foot long, very much sub standard. Also requested was, cuecumber, peppers, sweetcorn and gherkins, of which there was minimal evidence. Usually this subway is a regular haunt, not anymore.

I've been to this subway a few times now. The service is terrible. Your waiting ages to get served. I've never had this problem in other subways. During my last visit both staff were dealing with just eat instead of the till customers. They need more staff on.

Absolutely awful place. I pre ordered so that I didn’t have to wait. I turned up to be told they don’t make them up in advance in case you don’t show and the guy looked at me like that was somehow obvious and normal (ridiculous since they have a pre order counter and you have to pay in advance anyway!). If I wanted to wait 20 mins I wouldn’t have pre ordered.. Then once they start to make it (10 mins later) the staff have no idea what they are doing, don’t have half the ingredients, and decide to go away and stack trays and wash dishes half way through. They also don’t have a toaster, they microwave everything. How can a trip to subway be so bad?!?!

The lady who was making the sandwiches and servicing never changed her gloves ammeter touching the meat. Even asked her for vegan sandwiches but she never bothered. We ended up just paying for it and throwing the food.

Such a disappointment. Did not expect this quality. Got my "hot sides" as really cold like from out of a frozen bag and they missed my nacho chicken bites instead I got another hashbrown box. Did not even intimate me of the out of stock option.

Ordered 2 sandwiches at about a tenner each. They were delivered cold and 20mins late. One sandwich I ordered was a veggie patty for a vegetarian.What was delivered instead was chicken or pork or some other dead animal. I tried calling the restaurant and it rings and rings out with no answer. It's 2pm on a Wednesday it shouldn't be this hard to answer the phone or get a simple order right.

I waited 15mins for a pink haired lady to make two sandwiches, it's a good thing it wasn't busy otherwise I would of had to wait a lifetime. I have received my order and feel the quality of food was not of its usual standards. I got a meatball sub which was cold and the bread was more like French bread very dry as if it had been left out all weekend. The salad was soggy and the meat did not seem fresh, I was also meant to receive a cookie with the meal deal which I did not. Very disappointed.

A lot of the order we submitted through the just eat website wasn't actually available in this restaurant including the milkshake, the dorritos and the meatless meatballs footlong sandwhich. I wouldn't have ordered had I known this would be the case. Sharon from subway who called was great & super helpful but i do think the justeat menu for this restaurant needs to be amended as it wasn't ideal to be going back and fourth with phone calls trying to sort other peoples orders & substitues etc while being extra busy at work. I understand this is a justeat complaint as apposed to the restaurant service just don't want other people ordering having to do the same as me. Thanks.

Absolute cack, bread was stale and dry and fell apart. Most Subways in UK are a bit poor, way better in the US but stale bread at a Subway is a total joke.
