Subway in Woking

We had an awful experience at the Lower Concourse, Peacock Shopping Centre. The staff was unattentive, giggling uncontrollably for some reason and the bread was stale. We couldn't have had a worse experience. We'll go to KFC next time.

Absolutely disgusting service. They advertise 10pm closure on a Thursday. It’s even on their window. I called 10 minutes before closure (no answer) and showed up before 10pm. The manager, or so he claimed to be, refused to serve me. I begged and pleaded and even offered extra money but the heartless manager told me I can complain to whoever I want I won’t get any where and he won’t serve me. This is disgusting, why open the franchise with those hours and not serve when it’s opened? Maybe he’s racist I don’t know but I’m furious.

It's located in the food court, very open space with seating directly across from it. The food was tasteful and filling, would recommend it. However, the staff serving myself were quite snappy and seemed to panic under pressure. Overall experience was usual level for a casual lunch out but staff need work 👍

Steak and cheese literally had no cheese on it and the meatball marinara was not “normal” I always have a meatball marinara and this didn’t taste anything like it - pretty sure they gave me the vegetarian version as the meatballs weren’t right - or stale / old… Also arrived stone cold.

Ideal for a quick snack while waiting for a train .In a street of food outlets convenient to the station entrance .Trains past Yeovil junction are hourly and you need to eat and drink before a 3 hour journey

Subway in Woking is an absolute joke. Loks like they were made by a demented individual! Never again

I’ve been to this subway on and off, living in Woking I don’t really have a choice of subways. I only ever see 2 people working and nether seem to care at all about standards and customer service. Wether with slapping a sub together or throwing the knifes around then dropping it on the floor and picking back up and using it again, I had to ask for a fresh sub and I got the look of shock like he did nothing wrong. I now go to the subway in the shopping centre but that is only a little better.

I love Subways, generally - but this is one of the worst one's I've been to. I think largely due to the blonde-haired woman who "works" there. Honestly, she's terrible. Always seems to rush making the subs, and I've been served by her at least 6 times now. Every time is the same. So slap-dash. I could make a better sub blindfolded, whilst my arms are tied behind my back with someone kicking me in the groin...with a stiletto. I'd prefer her to just throw the ingredients on the floor while we eat like the dogs she obviously thinks we are. Its not all bad though, the exit is very appealing and lets you get on with your life.

I have visited Subway in many different cities and countries? But have never been so disappointed. I have no idea why this Subway in woking is never clean, the area where they prepare the sandwiches is filled with insects. Not clean at all! The veggies look stale whereas in other subways they look fresh and eatable! The quantity of veggies they add is always little, no matter who is preparing over there! Disappointed!

I've had nachos a few times in other locations and never known anyone to put the salsa on before the microwave as the outcome would obviously be wet soggy food. They assured me this is how they do it and as expected it was doggy, awful and inedible. My complaint fell on deaf ears unfortunately, if they had refunded me I'd be happier although they memory well last forever.

Desperately needed a through clean when we visited last was off putting and service super slow even though it was quiet.

When meeting my friend, we go to this Subway as it's halal unlike the food court one. Unfortunately service is always really slow and there is never usually anyone at the counter when you go in, meaning you have to wait a while before being served. Much rather prefer the service at the Subway in the food court. However, the subs are really good.

I chose Subway on Chertsey Road, Woking, to cater for a business lunch with a Muslim client. This branch of Subway does halal meat, so this was particularly important. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious, delivered on time, and all were very pleased. Online ordering was also very straight forward. I've also bought lunch from here for myself on a number of occasions and would happily recommend it to others.
