Subway in Rotherham

I went today with my family and I ordered 2 veggie wraps but they didn't give the wraps properly packing and The behaviour of the staff is very rude with Asian people and they think we can't say anything and tolerate their behaviour but I tell my friends and family to never never visit this venue because they are not talking nicely and they not giving proper service to the customers . I was totally depressed after the subway visit. I request the manager please reply to me on this matter . Thanks

I went it today for the first time in a long time, food was exactly as ordered and quite fast. The servers were really polite and helpful. Sat in to eat and it was spotless and the bit of the serving area you could see was very well kept, better than some other local stores.

I'm giving a 3 star review because not evrey staff member is like this. But one of your employees. Did a lazy job So you ran out of sweetcorn. That's the only salad I have. On going that I ask to just split it. Wich is completely understandable as you dont have what i need to put in my sandwich. I ask for mayo she squirts half the bottle in. I say that's to much she removes one dollop then I had to confront her again to clean up the extra dollop! I ask for a small line of the x chip spicey sauce. Make sure its tiny pls! She squirts a massive dollop! So I walked out with my money! She said there's nothing she can do! Only way I can describe her was chunky and ignorant.

Terrible service no manners I went in here today at 3.30 with two children the guy behind the counter is trousers were half down showing is underwear they look at us like we shouldn’t be there waited 10 minutes there was no que and no one else in the shop and was not even asked what we wanted just ignored us so we left

So slow - stood in a queue of 2 other people ordering one sandwich each, and I was in the store altogether for 40 minutes! The team had no manors didn’t say thank you for waiting and looked as though they had no idea what they were doing I think an alternative method of how they serve customers should be made priority.

Staff excellent very polite worked as a team. Food very good and fresh. Very efficient service Impressed.

Staff were absolutely phenomenal, polite, kind, and not too slack on the sandwich fillings! Food was absolutely excellent, thoroughly enjoyed it!

Yes my wife and I visit Subway most Fridays and usually have a foot long Tuna salad to takeout perfick.

Closed early. The times arn't correct and should be amended to 7pm as we went and they were closed even though it stated 8pm closing time

Was stood in a queue of two people, but because they kept prioritising delivery orders it took me 20 minutes to get served. They were painfully slow and no apologises or customer service was given to acknowledge the time I was stood there. By time I left the queue behind me had grown by 8 people.

Fresh sandwiches and not too busy as some Subway's are. I will never eat at the one in parkgate again! Sat at table eating whilst they have que of people standing next to you! Rubbish!

Clearly staff who do not want to work. I was waiting to be served (I was the next customer) a lady in front had ordered her family’s food. At which the dark haired women had come free as the other lady had took over with the sandwiches. So I thought right my turn now. But no she started cleaning down (which is absolutely fine) but she was not just cleaning she was clearly doing everything so slow to not serve me. She then started walking around messing around with gloves and blue roll. And then.. she was finally free and not doing anything BUT instead of serving me after standing there for what felt like forever,. She started a conversation with the previous customer! And blatantly did this to not serve me?! I turned round and walked out that shop! She needs some customer service training for sure! I’ve worked in customer service my whole life and mange and I would not be happy if my staff treat customers like that!

The worst experience I’ve ever had at any fast food establishment. Was kept waiting whilst a single girl served loads of customers. There were at least 2 more staff on, but neither felt like serving to get the queue down. Finally, it was my turn. The young girl started my order, but instead of finishing it, she decided that it would be a good idea to serve the group of ladies that had just come in behind me, leaving my sandwich on the side, whilst she sorted their big order out. Finally, my sandwich went in the toaster. After it had finished, she decided that she should put the salad in the ladies’ sandwiches before mine. No idea what logic she was using there. Anyway, I said something and she served me first. After 20 minutes in the queue, I’m told that I can’t sit in bc they’re closing early today. 5pm instead of 6.30pm. It was 4.30 when I got to the till. I understand that they have to clean up, but I’m only eating a sandwich. Won’t take me long at all. Also, if they were more competent and were actually working, instead of standing around and doing absolutely nothing, perhaps I’d have had time to sit in and eat my meal. I decided that I didn’t want my sandwich in the end. Will not be visiting this subway again. Absolutely disgraceful service.

This is the first Subway I've ever visited,that had ice cream..the place was clean and the staff were friendly.

I often order online from various shops according to which one is on my way. I also always(except for the last time) place the order for after an hour. Now these guys on parkgate made me wait last 3 times (different reason on every occasion) which caused me to be late on 2 of them. They don’t even bother to read the instructions box(again on every occasion). Hardly earned but well deserved review.

Quick service, good sandwich and coffee. Cannot fault Subway. Staff always cheerfull and chatty.

Took an absolute age to get served. Weren't offered any drinks/deals/snacks or even a bag to hold our food in. Chicken nachos had been ignored on the side for that long by the time we got them that they were soggy and rank!!

We do enjoy a subway sandwich but my goodness there is often a long wait. It either seems understaffed or there's too many staff trying to write to behind the small counter and they are in each others way. The delivery orders seen to take precedence over customers in store, I was waiting almost 15 minutes whilst they finished an order. If it wasn't for my little boy really wanting a sub then we would have left.

This store priority is Delivery which is a joke while customers are in the store waiting to be served.Get it right if you want to do delivery then that should not effect wait times for customers waiting in store. Walked out after watching them make ten subs in front of me after being 1st in the que.

First visit and was amazed at the quality and taste. Staff were very helpful. Had a 6inch meal deal.

Music too loud. Couldn't hear a thing. Not a friendly environment. The order in front of mine was left too long and burnt so my sandwich was left to sit and go cold while his was completed again. It would Not have hurt to let the woman stood staring into space just put my salad and sauce on.

Compare to what you get IMHO their prices are high and not extra ordinary delicious especially sauces are not of any special taste instead some of them are very very high in salt.

Very strange with all distancing but glad it's reopened iv really missed subway salads.

Wanted the meatball marinara but they'd ran out of meatballs and to be honest the fillings section was looking at bit sparse. Wouldn't expect this early afternoon as you think they would prepare enough for the day. Ended up leaving empty handed and still hungry. However, I must say the staff were polite and apologetic.

A great selection of grilled or cold sandwiches to eat in or take out. Plenty of choices of add ons to go with your meals and various sauces to finish off with. Hot and cold drinks are available and some lovely muffins and biscuits to compliment your choice of meals. Quite a few tables to sit down and enjoy your food. Been in today for lunch and really enjoyed it, the only thing that spoilt for us was the fact that while we were finishing our meal, the young girl came round cleaning the tables and the only thing we could smell was the strong bleach she was using in the spray. It hasn't put me off returning but perhaps a different cleaning product could be used when folk are still dining??? 🤔 Well worth a visit

Me and my daughter had a tasty fresh sandwich with a coffee and a cookie. You couldn't possibly get any more filling in the sandwich. Delicious. Even better was I had enough points to pay for sandwich's only had to pay for coffees and cookies.

Always eat here every Sunday... Can't beat it!

Service here is very slow we queued for around 25 minutes to get food.

Really helpful manager, had a gluten free sub made, she cleaned the prep area to avoid cross contamination- other Subways don't do this! Great service.

This place was filthy. All along the window sills were old bits of sandwiches. The crisp rack was empty and full of crumbs and old food. The till area needed a good wipe down. Couldn't finish the sandwich as it was that dirty it put me off. Shame I didn't take a photo!

The slowest subway in existence. Avoid - unless you've got half an hour to kill whilst you stand around waiting for a sandwich, and don't be fooled if there isn't a queue, it doesn't matter.

Attempted to visit this branch for breakfast. It was 7am. The branch opened at 6. When I walked in I was the only customer in the place. The girl behind the counter asked if she could help me. I explained that I wanted to order, but I’d be back in a second as I needed to use the toilet facilities first. She replied that they had no toilets. There are some public toilets attached to the outside of the building, so I went back out to use those, but they were not open till 9am. So for the first three hours of trading, there is no access to toilet and hand washing facilities. Unhygienic and maybe even illegal? I left and had breakfast at a nearby McDonalds.

Didn't enjoy the sandwich at all it was very dry at the each end won't be going here again

Staff need to listen to customers, if not sure ask. I ordered sandwiches and twice I had to correct her both occasions. Can honestly say not going to Parkgate one again.

Thought for a change I would have a subway but regretted it straight away and will never return. The offer is deceiving but decided on the chicken salsa it looked ok until she put a blob of what looked like tomatoe purée on top,saying it was the salsa !! Was offered salad topping which consisted of 2 pieces of pepper and about 7 pieces of onion and some lettuce thrown on. Took my sandwich to a table but had to change chairs as it was covered in grease smears, started to eat and all I could taste was tomato’s, the chicken was soft and mushy and had no flavour and the salad did nothing. I ate about 3 mouthfuls and left the rest, it was disgusting. What a waste of money which I’d just walked round the corner to Greggs

I've only been in once and I put some random ingredients in my order. Needless to say they didn't all go together. If you know what you want then they do have good deals. Shop is only small though so you might need to take away.

Disappointling mass prepared sandwiches that look nothing like the advertisements.

Waited in the line for about 10 minutes, ordered a meat feast and they ran out of meatballs which I accepted at first but then afterwards, they put bbq sauce on my sub instead of chipotle so they had to remake my sub, Which took another 10 minutes. Eventually I got my sub and I asked for a meal deal as well, it took a total of half an hour just to get everything I wanted. Worst experience in a Subway ever...Avoid...

Firstly, the staff in the most part are very friendly. However, this store frequently runs out of stock. Furthermore, the salad bowls from this subway are very poor, 90% is the initial lettuce, the double meat is more like 1 1/4 meat, the serving are incredibly more consistently. It really lets the franchise down.

We had a steak & cheese 6 inch roll & a 6 inch tuna salad roll. Very nice! Good service from pleasant young staff. Clean throughout & a good cup of tea, Thank you.

Been a couple of times recently at lunch time. Most staff seem inexperienced, unfriendly, not very customer orientated. Ordered a veggie delite with no cheese. The guy who I ordered from was incredulous about my orser and shouted 'what do you mean, it comes with cheese, that's what it is' and we had an argument about my order! There was meat that had dropped out of the previous customers wrap and I had to ask the salad guy to clean it from the salad area so it didn't go on my sandwich and had to ask him to change his gloves which were also covered. He was polite about this. The person serving on the till was obviously bored from her body language. Worst Subway branch I've been in, doubt I'll go here again.

My kids asked for subway during a shopping trip at Parkgate. I wish they hadn’t bothered. As we expected queues everywhere we thought we would wait the 10 minutes for more bread! Seriously - a sandwich place running out of bread mid afternoon on a wet bank holiday Monday the week before kids go back to school! However, we accepted the offer of a free drink whilst we waited the 10 minutes, which turned into 20 minutes. We witnessed a number of youngsters stroll into the store and help themselves to a soft drink from the machine, leaving without paying. When we went to order our food, the bread my son asked for still wasn’t available. We also saw flies around the food prep area; this didn’t seem to faze any of the staff so presumably is the norm for this establishment. What a disgusting place!
