The worst subway i've ever been, without a doubt. Rude staff and disgusting grubby tables. Food wasn't very fresh tasting either.

My partner and I have our friends from Scotland down. We went down for a walk and went into subway. As soon as we walked in there’s was kids in there brushing the tables down with the brooms. I think it was the young guys brother, the people behind the counter didn’t wipe down the tables after, and didn’t say anything. We then had a subway, and my partner and friend has non stop being sick. I definitely reccomend not to work here.

Was driving around town looking for a bacon roll. Saw a big breakfast bap in the subway window.. Went in (no one else in there) asked what the deal was with breakfasts eg. Is there a sandwich and coffee deal etc. Told by the guy behind the counter to go outside and look in the window. Told him to forget it. Won't be going back

Awful rude staff and half the options aren’t available Had to repeat my order 3 times because the moron behind the counter can’t understand English

Terrible immature worker, john I think his name is with massive attitude problem and very lazy, every ask seems to be a problem or a burden with a bad look on his face, definitely won’t be returning… also seemed to want to throw or push in my hand my food, change, cup etc. Very odd and rude

I regularly use this store and on every visit not one of the staff were wearing their hats. This is a lack of hygiene and is absolutely disgusting. Having worked for a subway before I know the hygiene standards aren’t the best, Maybe EHO should be contacted. I shall now only be visiting the Torquay and newton abbot store as this has put me off!!! Customer service wasn’t the best either, not once did I receive a smile and when I asked for my penny change they were unable to supply it as they didn’t have any! This is disgusting behaviour and is completely unacceptable!

Drove from Dawlish to this Subway what a mistake Really impatient when trying to order. No one else waiting either, Now the food, scooped out the meat etc with hand but thank god he had a clean glove on, never had what we all wanted, toasted but cheese looked like it didn’t melt at first. As for the salad, no Tomatoes, peppers, the onions were dry, lettuce was turning brown and the rest looked a bit dodgy. The taste was like a awful, no real flavour. The bread was toasted as the ends just turn to dust. Never have I had such a disgusting mess. Wouldn’t return even if offering a free lunch. The best thing that could happen to this place is To Close. Worse food outlet I’ve ever been to Avoid, save your money and go to Greggs

We visited this dirty dump for a change as we haven’t been there for a while, I had one sub toasted and one not toasted. He asked witch one not giving me time to answer and tutted at me. I thought what a t*at the police have been there so many times in the past having trouble with teens avoid like the plague.

I understand that people don't necessarily love working for subway as a number one career choice but they don't have to be rude and unhelpful to customers. I visited once and they were rude and I let it go as I thought it might be a one off but it wasn't. Go to Warren's next door where the staff are much more helpful and kind

Visited shop on Saturday lunch time not overly busy but food was of poor quality and the toilets were extremely dirty certainly won’t be returning

Visited with grandson and asked if any gluten free options. Told no. I purchased a GF wrap from nearby and asked if a filling could be inserted. Informed no as they could not input in till! Amazing. Surely Subway could by now have a sealed GF roll which f appropriate the customer could fill. Miles behind the competition.

A corporate chain in an independently minded town. The US Manager lacks the friendly manners of Independent chains. Also on my last visit saw him compact the waste bin then serve a customer without hand washing. My advice Avoid

Visited subway today Although staff were initially helpful and food was ok the whole place was filthy As we sat down staff were mucking about and being unprofessional oblivious of us being there The toilets were disgusting and hadn't been cleaned for some time Would I visit again NO Would I recommend NO

Came here today and had a footlong... Was perfect.. Really enjoyed it.. Got what i paid for and will return the next time I'm in Teignmouth...

I wouldn't eat here again. The counters and floors and very dirty, they haven't been cleaned in years! Ironically, the 'wet floor' sign is covered in dirt and slime stood prominently in the eating area. The food selection is the usual range and the shop service was ok. Just not impressed by hygiene here.

a subway is a subway,and do not vary much i tried the salami which was fine if a little dried out,the shop had a broken window and did not seem the cleanest,may give it a miss in future.

It's pretty much the same as Subway in bristol to be honest, the food is pretty gert lush but one of the guys working in there (the American one) was a bit of a d***hole and lost my darn sandwich! I mean seriously, how can you lose a footlong Italian herbs and cheese chicken and bacon sub with lettuce, tomato, pepper, jalapenos, onions and olive? I DON'T FLIPPING KNOW! Seriously, what a d***hole. You know, when I started this review I gave it 5 stars but after remembering that DORK I think I'll drop it to 2. Nice one, d***hole sandwich loser. NICE. ONE!

Pretty standard Subway. A bit more dated than most though - could do with a refurb and a bit of a facelift - but in terms of the food it's just like any other Subway.

If you fancy a baguette, come here! There is such a wide range of fillings to choose from and you can customise your own baguette with the type of bread you choose, extras and dressings. My son even ate one and he not keen on sandwiches and baguettes normally. It was scrummy!
