Subway in Cardiff

where was the free hash browns, I didn't eat all day because I was saving myself for the free hash browns, I feel empty, delated and lacking in sustenance that those sweet sweet golden hash brown would've hit. ps Footlongs were nice though

Nachos were burnt and cold on arrival, sub was freezing cold as if it had been in the fridge. Normally get good orders with Subway, disappointing.

Unfortunately must of been this lads first week/shift even though he was very polite & did an amazzing job! I witnessed his manager tell him " focus on the deliveroo orders , they need doing" which he focused on the task given and ignored all 5 customers waiting in the que. Then another young Lad came from the back - black t shirt, greasey mullet hair and began to make his own sandwich without gloves picking at the salad while his sub was in the oven . And STILL these customers wasn't served. The young lad to apologise, however he was clearly new and shouldn't of been on front of house alone.

Garlic cheese bread was shocking, looked like someone had dropped the bread on hot cheese and a bit stuck to it, Sub itself was soggy and to top it off the cookies were not in the order. Fuming

restaurant prepared the food on time and did a fine job, unfortunately the driver was very late thus meaning all the food was cold. The cookie as also rock solid.

Once again, this Subway in particular cannot get a single order correct, I am missing an ice cream and drink i paid for. I havent ordered from here for months because they always miss items on EVERY single order i Make, then i can can have the money refunded, but when i have ordered 4 subs before now for 4 people and only 3 arrive, someone is going hungry OR i have to pay out again and another delivery fee.

Unedible food and was refused a refund by justeat avoid avoid avoid.

Chicken tika sandwitch turned up with no chicken in when i rang the store the lady who answered claimed to have made it herself and was extremely rude food was all ment to be toasted and arrived extremely cold no very happy with this service this time

Allergic to fish I asked the girl at the counter to change her gloves before doing my food as she had just handled tuna. Not only did she do so with a smile, she cleaned down the work surface before placing my food there. Also the next lady in line on the salad section was also notified and repeated the process. Very much appreciated especially with the smile and good natured attitude. 10/10 there ladies 😁 the food was great too!

Along with all other fast food chains, it's only good because of it's speed and location, other than that: Subway offers superior vegetarian and vegan options compared to other chains.

So the meal deal looked like it was under a fiver, turned out to be £7.50 ish for a six inch sub, a bag of crisps and a can of cold coffee because the coffee machine was broken! "Has been for weeks" I was informed! Tables were filthy so was the floor with bits of wrapper and food laying around. I don't normally do negative reviews but the in this case I'll make an exception. I won't be back, in reality it's put me off subways ....end of! There's a notice on the window that informs everyone they're hiring, how about one that says abandon as all hope of a coffee.

Popped in during lunch hour and expected the store to be busy. It did have 3 people waiting, but I felt this was down to the serving staff more than popularity. We were a party of two, and both tried the new menu exactly with no variations. I had a wrap, and my son had the big breakwich, both delicious, made them both into a meal deal. Refillable drinks, too, which was excellent as we ate in, so did have a refill. My only negative was the lack of lustre in the staff serving us, I was kept waiting while she made an UBER order, which was a pretty large order and I wasn't thanked for waiting or advised I would be waiting. Maybe an additional staff member is needed to assist with this service. From getting thru the door to actually sitting down, which took around 15 mins. The table we sat at, it hadn't been wiped down since the previous guests. This was the same on all the large tables [4 seaters] I would visit again as I couldn't fault the ingredients.

it’s been my local subway for a few years and i’m rating it today because i lost my phone in the subway, so i rushed back and my friend asked “have you seen a black phone?” then the man said “oh yeah is it this?”, and it was. it was my parents old phone and it’s an expensive model so if i properly list it my mum and dad would be pretty mad. also the food is amazing i usually get a steak and cheese wrap and every time i eat it it’s so delicious. anyways i recommend going here if your hungry so yeah.

Food was a bit crusty and brown. It took 10 minutes to get the food from when we ordered it. Could do a lot better as we used to go there. A bit disappointed.

I ordered my food off your app and placed 4 subs for 12:50 I got there at 12:49 then asked "is my order ready for (name)" an employee said 5 minutes I said ok then 10 minutes later it wasn't done I gave it another 4 minutes then it was done.Rediculus

I ordered off just eat today. I’m doing a review because rarely will you find your order 100% correct and made in a way you could tell somebody that took care with what they’re doing (when ordering especially)

Second visit to subway and both occasions have been fine. Lots of options for your baguette filling and different breads. We had the meal which was good value. Staff was friendly and the store had plenty of seating space inside and out.

Scot and Stef served me today and I was impressed by there professionalism and friendly welcome. The way they made the sandwich was awesome!!! Thanks you made our day. I love Subway 💕

They didn't have much of the options that I wanted,however I gave it 4 stars as the man who serves us was great! He was very friendly and had banter with my 9 year old son. I would come back again based on the great service! But Subway please sort out your stock!

Got our food correct but bread was either really stale or quite burnt. Customer in front was charged twice for same item. And whilst we were at the till another customer came over and said he had been given the wrong sandwich. They had like 7 staff and it wasn't really much busier than Cardiff Bay subway when we were in there at least; which usually has 1 or 2 staff members. Seemed quite unorganised to be honest.

Subways my go to snack shop, so I've been to a faiiirr few! Defiantly the nicest subway experience I've had. Fellow who served me was smiley, chatty and provided excellent service. By far one of the most pleasant transactions I've had for a sandwich before.

Left a bad review a couple off weeks ago!! Attended today the staff where lovely and place was spotless. 100% improvement 👏 (busy aswell)

Waited 20 minutes to be served?

The service is really slow as the staff are working on takeout orders rather than serving walk in customers. Used to be able to walk over on my lunch break and have time to eat before going back to work but not any more. There is a limit of 7 customers queuing but the staff don't enforce this or social distancing (they encourage it to be broken by calling people to the counter before there is space) , so I'd just stick to ordering via uber eats or something if you fancy subway. The food itself is great, I'll happily order takeout just not worth the time queuing and without covid safety at the mo.

Nice quiet place lots of parking. Never a long queue outside of lunchtime hours. Very nice girls but rushed off their feet preparing takeaways!

Got at this shop at 5.40pm when told it was closed. I said to the manager that I had looked on the website and it states 6.00pm. I told the guy that 6.00pm was closing and he told me he had orders to fill and he wasn't going to serve me I will never step foot in the shop again

Firstly, I'll say the other 2 sandwiches that we had were okay. They were made correctly. However, here comes the problem. There was literally a hair in the middle of one of the sandwiches I ordered, glued to the cheese. You obviously need to make sure your staff are wearing hair nets and have better hygiene practices, it's not hard. Believe it or not I didn't actually request extra hair with my sub (I know, absolutely shocking right?) So yeah, I wouldn't recommend here unless you want a hairy sandwich.

Busy but still quick service🙂 and even in the chaos of rush hour staff were happy to change their gloves as I'm a veggie. Found it a helpful service.

Not good. Out of the majority of products at lunchtime on a Saturday! I’d advise McDonald’s just across from them, a far better experience.

So the staff make a good sandwich, no skimping on the meatballs or cheese, HOWEVER, if you go at any time someone from B&Q is on break, be prepared to wait. The staff flock here from across the car park and just order the worst sandwiches, like chicken on wholegrain with no mayo... Who even does that, dude with the chin you're a monster. Overall not bad but location provides some issues.

All subways are good hard to get out of carpark

Staff were good, food nice, only thing was the manageress sat at one of the tables doing the whole weekly food order on her mobile, twenty minutes listening to someone listing food. Just wanted some peace to eat a sandwich after work.

A standard Subway. The parking is part of a much larger car park so is never full. The restaurant is quite big inside with plenty of chairs and tables, every time I have been here it was always clean. Staff seem to be helpful and know what they're doing.

Waited to long to get served. No vegan options only salad. I have to little children with me and no one offered the help me to the table with our food. Main entrance door has not glass and its been like this for many months

Beautiful sandwiches but all three of us was a bit let down a small amount of salad and and filling that was put in unlike the other subways here in Swansea who keep the fillings in for you sometimes you have to ask them maybe not so much the one in Neath and the one in Fforestfach are very generous when they're making your sandwich apart from that once again a nice experience beautiful sandwiches hand-crafted tailor-made to one's choice
