Subway in Doncaster

Ordered at 20:30, food didn’t come until 21:45. I didn’t realise it was open so late, so someone must have stayed behind. Thanks for that! Food was good.

Very bad , food was freezing when it came , delivery driver drove to another restaurant to pick up another order while having my order at the same time . This resulted in my food being cold and I ordered the sandwich’s toasted but they came cold .

ordered three meal deals, each one had an item missing, two of the subs came with no salad or sauce. Bad news when you can't even make a sandwich properly.

My delivery was incorrect, I was sent three 500ml bottles rather than the bottle I’d asked for leading to squabbles and then on top of that, charged a delivery fee as someone who had recently taken advantage of the new delivery offer. I called the shop no response and then customer service with no opportunity to describe what was wrong. Our evening meal well and truly ruined. No stars for getting things right.

Arrived freezing. Was supposed to be toasted and it clearly wasn’t, cheese isn’t melted. Useless

Delivery was great, meatball sub was spot on, the bacon and cheese toastie however was f#cking diabolical, some brotherman really put 2 bits of bacon, 1 slice of cheese and a handful of pickled onions into a foot long, I could train a monkey in 4 weeksto do a better job 👍🏻

It has been redecorated and its very bright and looks like an infants play area.there are no comfy seats anymore and the staff dont seem to care.

when ordering, Delivery time said 15 to 30 minutes and it ended up being an hour and 15 minutes.

I ordered a salad - the vegan patty wasn’t cut up in strips just chopped in half and slapped in box and I asked for lite mayo and tht was missing - very poorly put together - this always happens in the lakeside branch in Doncaster they cannot be arsed to put a meal together - I also ordered a sandwich and tht wasn’t cut in half, don’t think I will bother ordering from there again - very disappointed

Would not deliver as I was on an important work call and could not find the delivery PIN. How am I supposed to carry on a call and find that!!

Food was ridiculous, bread was split completely to the point whole sandwhich fell apart didn’t even toast the bread or melt the cheese!

They close the toilets and seating area mid afternoon citing that the cleaning already has been done… yet they’re open until 9pm Terrible service. Almost as terrible as the stale bread I was served

How difficult is it to follow step by step ingredients from a receipt to prepare the correct sandwiches? Ordered two sandwiches and both of then were completely wrong, even down to getting the bread wrong FOR BOTH. Included several ingredients that weren't even requested, and they even used bread bread for our pizza slices??? This is a serious allergen concern, especially when they can't even read the details of the receipt correctly!! Very very disappointed and DO NOT recommend.

Terrible service lunch time today where only 2 staff members and long queue and they seem only interested in honouring just eat orders and the queuing public disregarded. Surly waiting customers should be first priority as most are on lunch breaks

Attended this subway during my lunch break. I had made my order on Uber in advance. I attended to be "greeted" by an elderly lady that "asked me what I was doing over there?" (Stood by the till by the window) I responded by informing her i was here for a pick up. I was made to wait several minutes, and observed just utterly poor customer service. I don't know if the sweat running down my spine was induced by the heat in the shop or the sheer anxiety and immense panic I could sense emerging at just breathing or looking the wrong way. The lady was continuing to be rude to customers, hurrying people along. She spoke as if she was some marine drill instructor. Barking orders such as "go" then immediately "stop" when she was required to open the oven draw. Her behaviour was called out by other customers. All this time my sandwich was just left awaiting heating and adding of salad. She continued to reach over and bark orders at everyone in the store. My sandwich inundated with breath and saliva particles.. something that should be taken seriously following the covid19 pandemic. I was eventually given my sub where it has the wrong sauce and tomatoes.. (which i did not ask) it was thrown in and thrown at me. The kind considerably younger lady that served me was then "attacked" by the old goat in a manner that I found disgusting, especially infront of other customers. The girl was clearly under immense pressure and accidentally initially handed me the wrong receipt. This was quickly rectified, however the "boss" could not help but attack and add her 2 pence worth. A diabolical experience. In the same week that my babysitter passed away I did not think it could get any worse. The other much younger lady was very professional, patient and hardworking. The considerably younger lady deserves her payrise doubling to work in those treacherous conditions.

Honestly this food has been atrocious all the food is soggy and cold and we payed extra for cookies which did not arrive . If this doesn’t get resolved we would never order from here again . Absolutely appalling

Wrong Sauce and Salad on sub. Still ate the sandwich and was fine though. Dip snack was 95% bread, 4% cheese and 1% ham. I love subway and I always make the same sub so for £15 for 2 items feeling a bit disappointed as was looking forward to it. Hopefully issues can be resolved in the future

Lovely food and the delivery service was excellent

The mature lady working on the morning shift (I believe is the first one because I used to go at 8:00 am) is one of the most professional I have ever seen in any Subway. Always a warm welcome, super friendly and careful about your needs and always with a smile on her face. The preparation time for the food is for world Guinness records, even the last time I came with my daughter to show it to her and she was really shocked about the speed, sandwich prepared and toasted in less than 1 minute. Definitely, I invite the management to encourage these kind employees to become an example for the other branches.

For the last two times I’ve ordered from here, things are missing. First time there was absolutely NO tuna on my sandwich, not even a tiny bit. Second time, they put barely any meatballs on a footlong sandwich meanwhile I’ve paid for a double meat. Also asked for pickles and jalapeños on a 6 foot, and they put ONE SINGULAR jalapeños and NO pickles at all, outrageous…

Order was ten minutes late despite ordering a fixed time slot in plenty of time. 3 issues. The footlong didn’t arrive at all. The 6 inch chicken double meat came as double ham so no one will eat it. And one of the 6 inch came without cheese. poor!!

To start, the bread was wet and soggy from having wet salad put on the sandwich. The pepperoni and cheese dipper was wrapped in paper that had also gone soggy and stuck all the way around so I was unable to eat it. And the bag of crisps had a hole in the bag which meant they were stale, and again, I was unable to eat them. If I wasn't on a limited lunch break then I would have took all of this back to the store and requested a refund. Very unhappy and will not be ordering from this store again!

The older lady, who seems to be the manager, is rude and abrupt. She might be allowed to speak to her staff/colleagues in a certain way but certainly not like thatto me, my partner, or customers in general. A lady was refused entry to the toilet as they had just been cleaned…. really?

Don’t be fooled by the pictures on the menu board, your meal will look nothing like it

a bit disappointed in the sandwich, no cheese and they replaced my pickles with jalapeños which through off the whole sandwich. picked them off but pickles are my fav, shame. I won't be ordering here again, it's the same elsewhere it's better just ordering in store

The sandwich didn’t have what i ordered on it, there is an unknown red liquid on it and i found what looks like chewed up plastic inside

Cold and not edible. Missing drink & sauce pot. Wrong cookie sent, ordered a foot long cheese & pepperoni and received a wrap that is smaller than a 6”. Restaurant does not answer the phone.

Please avoid,avoid, avoid parking here for a quick sandwich. Rogue car parking scammers are out to get your cash. I like subway but too many people getting parking tickets here. Try going on foot only.

Can’t follow basic instructions on the Uber app, received the wrong item and Uber won’t refund. A joke!

Wrong sandwich and wrong drink sent. But correct crisps and cookie. I’m not sure how you mess a simple order up so badly.

Food wasn’t great, portion size was tiny and there was ants crawling all over the counter and in the cookie enclosure

Such a great Subway this one in absolutely brilliant location Really love going here with the Grandkids & buying everybody a Subway & enjoying the meals around lakeside Well done Subway

Sandwiches that turned up were disappointing. The submelt was just a normal bread roll squashed. And covered in sauce so very messy to eat

This place must have the best view of any subway in the uk. However, since the new management took over customer service isn't what it was. If you want the code to use the toilet, you are interrogated to the point of feeling humiliated, in front of everyone.

Food lovely - unfortunately crisps missing from meal which the lady was very apologetic about, mistakes happen so can’t fault them as these things happen- no option to only say crisps missing had to choose full meal 🤪

We come here quite regularly as it is our local. Food is always good but today really ruined our experience. There was a new girl constantly being shouted at by the old women there name is Sharron/shannon not sure. Shouting at the new girl constantly infront of many customers. At one point she said “I’m gonna slap you” disgusting service infront of many people who all looked really shocked at how she was speaking to this poor girl. This definitely needs to be looked into as the girl was obviously new and training.

It was one hour late I’m so angry and upset no one notified me and that is terrible customer service and I didn’t even get an apology when I rang up or when the driver came to my door

Both subs had sweetcorn in, which I didn’t ask for!! Twice this has happened now. Ordered nachos and ended up with a bag of crisps?? I don’t pay £3 extra for you to not give me what I ordered.

Subway is subway, not the freshest food but tastes average. I will say, staff need to wear hair nets because towards the end of my sandwich I found a hair. The man who served me had long hair and kept touching his hair and hat with his gloves on that he wore when serving me - male workers with long hair need to pull it back or wear a hairnet as well as female workers!

I visited this subway a few days ago on my way to work, and what can i say, the service of staff was absolutely appalling and reading on other reviews and by the name tag this isn’t the only time this elderly, utterly disrespectful woman has treat staff and customers poorly. To start off my visit to the horror house when asked on what bread i wanted i was greeted with a lovely display of 2 options to choose from, seeded and Italian herb and cheese bread, the only suitable option that i could choose was seeded as my allergy for cheese and dairy is life threatening, upon informing her about this she seemed to hold a grudge against me, next up comes to the toasting, when asked if i would like my sandwich toasted i said yes as the bread that they were serving looked absolutely disgraceful and soggy so hopes were up that the 30 seconds it took to roast it would sort all issues but instead whilst transporting my sandwich from the counter to the toaster she had dropped my sandwich onto the floor, after cursing up a storm she finally decided to turn around and remake the disaster she had already done prior, moving onto when i was asked which salad i would like i might as well have just asked her to wrap it up and payed for it then, seriously, do the veggies come out of your pay-check? There was more bread than anything else, i had 2 strands of peppers, a fingertip worth of sweetcorn and a literal pinch of everything else, i was in utter shock, anyways too late to turn back now i payed for my order and left before she could even blink an eye. Never will I be returning.

I just want to take this opportunity a lil late with the review but extremely busy lifestyle around this festive season + I work at greggs I once worked at subway myself unfortunately I am not skilled at cutting bread and lasted only two days but the people who made this special food for me delivered and smashed it will promise to order again soon also the driver on the day top lad smiles and full of banter at 8:30 am in the morning #peace-out i tell you now guys have a jolly one folks

To be honest I think the driver made my sandwich in his car; to say it was thrown together is an understatement. The quality was very poor and the food was stone cold by the time it arrived, to the point the garlic bread slice I ordered was inedible. Whilst I say it was on time, they kept extending the time, so impossible to be late, to be honest it would have been quicker for me to walk to the Subway restaurant

Over an hour for a sandwich deal?! Absolute joke. All crammed in one bag, a cold drink and a hot sandwich! Use your brains!

Really gone down hill over last few months. It’s not as friendly as it used to be and they have been reducing the quantities that you get on subs. You’re lucky if you get more then a sprinkle of vegetables and barely any sauce on meatball sub (5 olives on a foot long sub is just ridiculous).

The hash browns were very cold not hot. Have to throw away! Cold hash browns not nice

I asked for a ketchup dip with my Nuggets. A tomato dip with the cheese bites and then I ordered an extra Ketchup for 20p. None of these arrived with the order.
