Subway in Doncaster

Food is always great never have a problem but today the young lady who was on was rude and unhelpful

Had a philly cheese steak from here tonight, it tasted like wet cardboard with pepper's in. Never again

If you want your leg lifting, drop in to this Subway shop and order a 6" meatball marinara..... £8.39, and I'll repeat that £8.39 for a 6" meatball marinara. I told the tiller he'd made a mistake, but no, they both were Adam Ant, which was correct. 4 people could eat well at Aldi for £8.39. Come on Subway, sort this branch out before they close themselves down! £8.39!!!!

This is by far the best subway I go to, and due to my line of work, I am a regular all over the country. The staff here are always bang on, and their customer service is outstanding. The young men Chris and Lewis who served me this evening were so helpful and pleasant. Although really close to closing time, Chris took the time to prepare me some fresh meatballs for the salad I wanted even though they had run out and were closing pretty soon. Between them both, nothing was too much to ask for. They seemed to work really well together, and I was well impressed. Two lovely young lads doing a good job. And my salad was beautiful!! 10/10 for my Double Mighty Meat Salad 👌

No honey mustard sauce and no spinach, but service and staff are great.

Visited today and received the worst customer service from the 2 staff members that work in there. Got snapped at by one person serving, when I asked if they had certain salad "No!, we haven't had that for ages" Like I'm automatically meant to know this and I had the audacity to ask. Just unbelievably rude. I've not visited Subway for a while, but on past experiences of purchasing food & drink, I've always been asked if I want it as a Meal Deal. It had completely slipped my mind they did this. It was only after I had paid, and my friend was paying for his food, he asked if they still did Meal Deals. "We've always done Meal deals!" Was the sarcastic response he received. I commented that I should have got a meal deal too, and i completely forgot they did them, to which I was snapped at the staff member "you didn't ask for one!" It's a shame because there was an older lady who used to work in there, who was just fabulous, very friendly and polite, and generally just a lovely person. Those 2 people may learn a thing or 10 from colleagues like her.

Service was good but find somewhere clean to sit if you can - tables and floor ignored - brush your own chair to sit down.

I have ordered from here a few times and the food is lovely. I'm a huge Subway fan. Parking is good if you need to dine in, the staff are nice.

Visited twice over the Christmas/New Year holiday...discovered recently as a stop off en route from Lincs to Tameside and vice versa. Not a regular reviewer but referring to some other posts no evidence of 'youths'. No unhelpful staff in facy the opposite. Toilets spotless. Tables clean. Well above average for a Subway...as a Subcard holder can compare with quite a few others. Easy parking in front of the line of shops here.

Clean store, friendly staff, breakfast subs delicious. Visit everytime I'm in that area. Can't go wrong with a 6ins sub and drink for under £3.

Negative review The staff hears my sandwich beep and left it in the oven. It burnt my sandwich. I wasn’t happy and they didn’t even ask me if I wanted a new one was a very upsetting experience

I had a nice time at Subway where the staff at Subway were helpful and kind to me and I picked the Ham,Cheese and Cucumber sub then I chose a drink and a cookie from Subway. I had such a nice time and I gave this a 10/10 for Subway in Scawsby so I had a nice time at Subway Scawsby.

Absolutely brilliant service. I ordered 7 sandwiches and 1 was gluten free. I asked the lady who was serving if she would mind getting fresh meat and cheese from the back that hadnt been opened yet for the gluten free sandwich. Before i even had to ask her to swap her gloves she did. She was really polite and I didnt feel like i was being a problem. Unfortunately i cant have any of the items on the front due to bread crumbs falling in that rnt gf. I havent been to subway for sandwiches for myself due to the worry of cross contamination but after last weeks experience and how helpful the lady was ill def be going bk for more as the sandwich was absolutely lovely and the service was brilliant. I wish i got the ladys name but i didnt Unfortunately. Thanks.

Staff changed gloves several times which is nice to see because of my allergy to some of the foods on display, friendly fast service, really pleased to see the do gluten free bread

2 staff on yesterday at 11:55 am were both rude and wanted to charge me £2 extra for tuna, refused to give hash Browns as forgot to cook them earlier and they were in the oven and salad bar misorganised causing confusion. £7.98 for 2 6 inch subs, it used to be £4.50. Toilet was okay but not happy how the disabled toilet is also the ladies so you get eyed when going in it. 5th visit and most likely my last.

Food was ok, but generally disappointed. We told the server this was our first subway. Ever. We were expecting a baguette filled with, well, you know, filling. What we got was a box of salad with some ham dumped on top. Pretty rubbish for our first subway experience

Rude staff terrible service. I waited almost 15 minutes, no one else in the shop, whilst she made order after order after order peering at a screen. I assume app orders? She then snapped my head off when after 10 plus sandwiches and her statement of only being a minute having stretched to 15 minutes I eventually asked if I was ever going to get served. Rude and abrupt. Terrible customer service. They only value customers who order on apps or just eat as they give them a rating. They don't care and totally ignore customers who walk in, as they don't expect an online review. Not the first time I was forced to wait ages for multiple orders for absent customers at this shop, but it is the rudest response I've received after my patience finally expired.

Abysmal customer service. I waited patiently whilst 2 people were served in front of me. I was then told she would just be a minute whilst she started an online order. 3 sandwiches and nachos. Told I'll just be a minute again and did another online order 4 sandwiches and more nachos. She then starts a third order at which point i say im actually on my way to work and running late will you be much longer please. She stopped looked me in the eye. Did not respond and started another online order. She didnt say just a couple more, or finishing an order or anything. My enquiry was ignored. How long are customers expected to wait before they get served. I expect the common decency of a reply when asked how much longer i have to wait. Especially when i informed her i was on my way to work and already running late. Due to her ignorance i left and went to mcdonalds.

Watching the young girl brush the food prep area back in to the food dishes was disgusting. Avoid at all costs!

Subway scawsby really need to work on staff training. Seriously how hard is it to make a sandwich. Ordered 6 sandwiches and they got 3 of them wrong! Will not be going again

Usually it's OK but this visit I ordered two salads along with 3 kids packs. The salad bowls were half full at best and the staff member just seemed like she couldn't be bothered. Its a shame bc we love subway but won't be going any more.

Absolutely lovely little Subway. The staff are all so so friendly and helpful. I'm a regular customer and much prefer this subway and their sandwiches to any other subway in the UK! Yes........ honestly. Beth the manager needs recognition (and a pay rise) for the the hard hard work she puts into making sure her customers are always looked after and made to feel welcome and special. Ellie and Sophie always have smiles on their faces and always ask how you are. Just a lovely little shop with an amazing team working there. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Nothing is ever too much trouble.food always fresh and tasty, coffee red hot and tasty, cookies to die for and the place is always immaculately clean. 10/10 guys and dolls

Great Sandwiches, the staff are lovely and never fail with your orders, although recently Flatbread has been removed from the bread options which is usually what I would choose for this reason I am only awarding 4 stars.

Server used hands to put grated cheese on the sub and gave a very small amount. When I pointed out the fact that all other servers use the scooper to get the correct amount she argued with me that it was not the case and if I wanted more cheese I had to pay. Payed for more cheese and still got the same pityful amount of cheese. Don't know the name of the server as no badge was worn

Wanted a cheese salad wrap but codnt have it cos you have to have cheese salad on bread! Staff were pleasant enough, but just a bit miffed about something so simple couldn't be done

I don't entertain Subway, I asked for a ham salad sub, and pointed out that i don't like smoked ham and was reliably informed the ham was not smoked. Guess what, it friggin was and I'd spent £5 in that dump. My lunch was ruined and they'd got my money. Never again. Mickey mouse fast food.

Ideal location next to local school which I attended when obesity levels in children was low & being diabetic was a rarity. Unfortunately the homeless also know this to be a prime location as the next door Tesco & cash point will always encourage customers to drool over the healthy range on offer. Or perhaps it is the adjacent Dominio's pitiza parlour which will ensure the footfall to this busy Subway.

Nice food, very unprofessional last few times I've being in, groups of youths Sat everywhere eating dominoes pizza inside, I felt so uncomfortable I did not stay to eat my food, I dropped past tonight and didn't even go in due to the gang of kids hanging around the shop.

No issues during my visits. It is quite a busy place during lunch and tea - expect a queue.
