Literally impossible to get served in there. Staff just sit in the back, waiting for 10 minutes and decided to go to Greggs instead. Probably the 4th or 5th time this has happened.

I ordered a Subway for myself and my disabled brother through the app, using both his account and mine. I went to the store to pick them up. When I got there, I spoke to a young cashier who was about to hand me the sandwich. Suddenly, a man who seemed to be the manager (my guess), with a strong Nigerian accent, came out and asked, "Is that your order?" I didn't think he was talking to me, so I continued talking to the young cashier. Then the manager said, "It's a duplicate order" and asked to see my app. I was confused because I knew I had ordered two sandwiches. When I showed him my account, he saw one order, and as I was logging out to log in with my brother's account, he shouted, "No! You can only get one sandwich with the promotion." I tried to explain that the other order was for my brother, who is disabled, and that I usually run errands for him. He interrupted and said, "Are you trying to challenge me?" which confused me even more because I wasn't being confrontational. He then said, "If you challenge me, you will not get your sandwich." I asked what he meant, and he repeated, "You're challenging me. If you don't keep quiet, you're challenging me." I don't have much money and couldn't afford to lose what I paid for, so I didn't argue further. However, the experience really disturbed me. It's been two days now, and I initially wasn't going to write a review, but I don't want other customers to go through this, especially those who might not be in the best frame of mind. It's important to mention that I am also African and only 21, though I look younger. I think the manager's attitude was influenced by my appearance. However, sharing similar backgrounds doesn't justify rudeness and poor customer service.

Really terrible, this is the worst waiter I have encountered in the UK for so long. He didn't put the sauce for me and when I went back to him, he said rudely why did you put your water on my table, we can't dine in here! He seems to think I owe him money? ! I will never come again

One of the workers is so rude! (by the sounds of other reviews on here, I bet it's the same man) He shouldn't be working there if that's his attitude to customers. He tuts, sighs and mutters under his breath when making the sandwiches. The way he speaks to customers is not needed. Very rude & arrogant.

Extremely poor customer service. I walked to the front to make my order. The guy was sweeping crumbs (which is fine). He sees me....then continues sweeping. I wait about 2 minutes. He then starts arranging the chairs, I wait another minute or so. He then starts wiping the tables. At that point I just went across to Asda & bought a sandwich. I worked in retail for years. Once a customer wants to purchase, you must serve them immediately. Only exception is if there's a severe safety hazard you have to deal with.

Wow the amount of salad in my salad bowl was ridiculous, they also had the lid up so I coudlnt see how much was going in and then sealed it without checking it was OK. It was not OK. I have sent a complaint both through the online form and DM directly via instagram and had no follow up either. Are you cutting costs? Because it cost me double when I was still starving after that inadequate helping. Fuming.

Honestly not even sure where to begin with this review. I’ve been to this particular Subway on numerous occasions since I moved to Salford Quays and I’ve rarely had a stress-free experience. Primarily the issue is communication. The staff, on pretty much every occasion, have misunderstood my order or made bad assumptions about it when I made it crystal clear how I wanted my order prepared. On many occasions I have ended up at the checkout and have been made to pay extra for something that I did not expressly request, and on today’s occasion, I made it clear that I wanted to pay for my family’s meal (rather than just mine and my girlfriend’s) and the order came to £17~. I was very surprised because our order should have come to more, so I enquired again to make sure they had it right. They said we did. Then when my dad had finished at the salad section, they then asked him to pay for his sub and coffee, when I had to interject and say that we had already paid. I knew that they had forgotten to include this meal in the order but the communication with them was so painfully slow and inefficient that I’d just decided to wait and see what they’d do when my dad got to the checkout. He then made a fuss because we had already paid for our family’s meal and we had already made it clear to the staff that that was what we wanted to do, and so the manager on shift just told us (quite passive-aggressively) that the last subway and coffee were on the house and that the next customer should come along. Maybe it was because the queue was growing and he was getting restless. Even so, there is a need for better communication between employees and customers or this particular chain will fail. Furthermore: I am vegan but I don’t really care if the staff do not change their gloves between different orders (this point of view is not common among vegans, it must be said) but I do find it annoying when they start asking if I want cheese whilst they’re already grabbing the cheese and getting ready to layer it on. If I’ve ordered a vegan subway, maybe it would make sense to pick up the vegan cheese and not cross-contaminate? I am liberal with how I want my food prepared but I know that there are those out there with allergies for whom such habits are not only unacceptable but dangerous. At the end of the day, I make it pretty clear which cheese I would like and what toppings, but the staff seem to work in their regular rhythms where they go to pick up the cheese immediately and they go to grab vegan meats right after picking up other non-vegan meats. They do not cater well to vegan customers or those with potential allergies. They had better work harder to change up habits. This occasion today was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. It’s not a one off and it’s always the same staff I have problems with.

Ripoff merchants. Told me what i ordered is all part of the meal deal, then when paying turned out my chosen drink is extra and they also charged extra for ordering cookie and crisps (they told me both are included in the meal deal and recommend me to get both). They need to shut this place down. A bunch of thieves.

Always find it interesting when a worker is left on his own while an event like a united match is on half a mile away. And then if that guy is on his own he is actually really slow and quite clearly inexperienced .. waited 25 minutes for a foot long and a salad .. when I arrived I was third in the queue .. bad management

Sandwich was good but was not satisfied with the customer service as I wasn’t asked before I paid about the bag (to pay 5p, I didn’t have the change or cash). So in the end I have to juggle 2 sandwiches, 2 cups of drink and bag of cookies to my car. Moreover at home when I finished my drink there was a small fly at the bottom of my cup. Not sure I’ll be going to this shop again.

Worst subway ever! Was open and hour and half yet half of the menu wasn't available, 3 staff didn't know there arses from there elbow, I asked for a cool mayo beef brisket sub yet I got the spicy one, the latte I ordered was like gunk, I should have gone greggs next door instead, I won't make same mistake again...stay well clear!
