Subway in North Tyneside

I was served by a young man named Teng I believe. Fantastic service and he made my day 10x better by having a laugh with me! I’ve only been in once and met this staff member, I can only assume the others are fantastic too.

sorry but we didn't enjoy our food today the. read was all soggy wet so it ruined it. requesting money back.

Whether ordering online for collection or in store the service is always friendly and efficient.

place has gone downhill, staff always seem overwhelmed and i'm not surprised!! manager hama hurling abuse at staff, understaffed, constantly new hires. constant cross contamination too. dreadful place.

All the food was cold soggy and the price you pay is descusting what you get

It just didn’t taste nice, the vegetables tasted grim, the crisps were stale overall not good at all, and want my money back

Got the order completely wrong, not sure how difficult it is to follow a receipt but apparently it is. Staff have quite the attitude as well and neither of them would accept that they’d done the order wrong (could hear them bickering about it on the phone). On another note, the delivery was quick and on time.

bread was not toasted, no cheese, hardly any jalapeños, pickle or olives. mainly red pepper and thickly cut onion. really disappointed, they are usually very nice. The meatball one was ok according to my granddaughter

Sandwich would have been better if the bread wasn’t so stale! The ends were so hard they could not be eaten!

sandwich and salad was grate but the cookie was horrendous my sister says her cookie smelled better than the one I got mine tasted weard so we had to throw it away

Absolutely garbage. Shocking quality. Staff making sandwiches with gloves on, then handling money and serving others while wearing the same gloves. So much cross contamination going on

The order I made has said delivered but it hasn’t arrived so they’ve dropped the food off at a different address

Absolutely appalling delivery driver brayed on my doorbell over and over after knocking once.. I live in a 3 story house and he would of had to wait a minute longer then usual for me to answer the door and he was stood there being cheeky to me then opened the bag to realise no crisps. Just discusting shouldn’t be missing things from a sandwich order

Poor customer service - staff seemed annoyed I was on to me to collect my order.

i ordered two subs, one with bbq sauce and one with chipotle sauce. they put the wrong sauce on both subs and sent 1 free cookie that said “sorry wrong sauce” on the bag. so rather than making a new sub they just sent them knowing the order was wrong. i’ve contacted uber eats for a refund but this is ridiculous, why would you knowingly send an incorrect order to a customer?

The food was good but I didn't give 5 starts because the Cola was not in the delivery and so far they haven't contacted me to say they will refund my card payment.

I ordered my food and It was supposed to be delivered for 18:11 and it never turned up so I phoned the restaurant and they told me that the person that was supposed to deliver it phone wasn't working so he walked out with out it and the only reason I got my meal was when I offered to go and pick it up as the lady I spoke to didn't know what to do

Ordered for 1pm, didn’t arrive til 1.31pm. Absolute joke!

The service today may have been off, there were four staff behind the counter who all appeared overwhelmed for the few orders there were. My real issue is the hygiene. I'm assuming the staff wash their hands regularly, although in my ten minute wait I did not witness this. What I did witness was staff using the till with gloves on, accepting payments and then going back to making sandwiches and repeatedly doing so, all without changing gloves or washing hands. I equally realise how particularly this sounds, but the food served isn't always being cooked and it is being touched at each stage of preparation.

My food wasn't hot when it arrived and it was over 2 hours late so I'm not happy about waiting that long and there should be a way to cancel the order and get a full refund.

20 minutes late sweetcorn on the sandwich which I didn’t ask for and also missing my sauce with my wedges and would like a full refund as it was freezing cold

I Got Meatball Marinarna, Shredded Mozzarella & Cheddar Blend, Red Onions, Pickles, BBQ Sauce, Sea salt, Crispy Onions on Harty Italian Toasted, Now it was good but there was something exceedingly spicy inside on one side. I Don't really mind spicy things but that gives me conserns about potental cross contamination of the ingredients. Other then that I like the Footlong

Worst sandwich ever . Absolutely stale and freezing cold , I asked for a meatball footling and there was barely any meat balls in it . I left a not saying xtra sauce on the sandwich And they clearly didn’t read the note as there was hardly any sauce on it . It was one hour late and freezing cold and stale . Then the driver made me go all the way down the communal stairs to collect it he didn’t know where he was going I would like a refund

Basically slop in a box the filling wasn't even in the sandwich the cheese bites were freezing cold and clearly wernt fresh as the cheese was solid inside

1. they sent the wrong cookies. 2. the bread was very chewy. 3. hardly any meat or cheese on a philly steak. other than that delivery time was good

First time using Subway, attracted by Big Breakwich item. So I went ahead and ordered one to sample. I’m very pleased I did, because it was fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, which was not swimming in oil, and was not too heavy to digest. Brilliant. Will order again.

Ordered a tuna sub but was sent a chicken & bacon.

Both were missing the cheese we ordered

One of the sandwiches was fine but the other couldn’t be picked up as it would have just fallen apart , the piece of bread was terrible and it was served in the store you wouldn’t accept .

None of our hot sides were even warm, sandwiches had clearly been toasted then just left sitting there for a while before delivery

I ordered a foot long. The salad was lovely and fresh the bread was stale.. It was supposed to be soft white, but it literally fell to pieces when I was eating it. It was super hard.

Ordered food deal & extra sandwich but didn't receive the 1.5l bottle of pop which was in the meal deal. The shop said to contact Just eat yet again, but you never do anything to solve this. Very disappointed yet again for just eat. As a company you need to do more to stop problems happening as this is happening every other order.

Food was freezing despite only being delivered from around the corner. Was missing my Gatorade which happened to be the only thing I’d actually ordered for myself as the food was for my kids. The lady that delivered the food was friendly and delivered it very quick

Food arrived warm and accurate. Bag split on delivery driver and he kindly warned me not to drink the pop. Good service from driver friendly and polite unlike some who are just rude

Subway is lush. The subway I had today was lush. BUT the woman with the blonde hair that works there is an absolute nutcase. She ignored about 3 customers and then started smashing a till to bits. Screaming and shouting different swear words and getting angry because she was receiving orders, isn’t that your job?😂. The other worker was no where to be seen until she just toddled out of the back like there wasn’t world war 3 going on at the tills. She slammed a box down because she had too put cheese in nachos.. what more can I say? I genuinely believe that girl need some help. She has no manners and shouldn’t be working in customer service!!

First time I had been. I was pleasantly surprised, thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich and the staff were excellent and very friendly.

Normally this place is ok but pardon me the meatballs, they are horrendous 3 meatballs for 3 pound 3 meatballs probably made from tortured cow, the meat is not fresh at all, probably tortured , i am just extremely disappointed

I love Subway, and this is my local one. Staff are friendly and efficient, and of course the food is consistently good. Kudos to Subway in Battle Hill 🙂

Cant even call it a sandwich turned up smashed to pieces bread wasn't toasted as I'd asked and was ripped to bits in places it had so much onion in it there was hardly any other filling in it, how do you mess up a sandwich? Won't be coming back

This branch of Subway has all expected items ready for order and pays attention to what you ask of them. The staff have a good sense of humor, good work ethics and respond positively to requests. The food is good quality, as can be expected of Subway and I honestly have no complaints with this store. Tip: If you have any issues with your sandwich, the staff will resolve them if you ask politely. I've witnessed this twice during the very busy lunch period. The store is very small and has very little seating to expect to take your food out instead of eating in at most times. If there's anything missing (Cups, straws, napkins, etc) just ask the staff and they'll be happy to help when they're not serving another customer.

Fresh salad everyday - friendly staff

I waited in the queue as you do to get served after 10 minits another customer walked in. The young lady with black hair completely blanked me and served this customer? The customer then said are you being served ? I said no, to which he apologiesed. Like it was his fault ? NOT. No apology from the staff, after he left I got asked what do you want ? Now am no rocket science master but it was on the lines of some food, service was poor, when I got home the young girl the black hair had kindly left a black hair in my food which I pulled out of the teeth the rest went in the bin. Wouldn't get this a Greegs now would you Mind

The lady on site was phenomenal! Made an order of 6 plus extras expertly and all wrapped ready to go in great time. Although busy, she was polite, fun, expert at her work and so clean. I was be t in line and not a grumble or moan in sight. All smiles. Wish I'd gotten her name ! Hi 5 to her !
