Just had an amazing chicken and bacon sub, the server was very patient with me this being the second time I have been in subway,chatty and polite will definitely go back more often

Food is lovely, you get to pick out your own type of bread and then fillings. But the only thing that ain't so good about it is that everytime I go into that subway nearly all of the tables have food crumbs on them. I am amazed with their food more than anything else.

BEWARE Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire Branch! I regularly visit the Subway branch in Cross Hands, and consistently order the same two subs each time. One is for normal bread, the other is Gluten Free. After visiting this store yesterday my wife who is a celiac became violently ill from taking a bite of her supposedly gluten free bread. This was not the case and she was served a regular bread sub. I have tried to speak to the store vendor only to be told "No sorry, didn't happen"! My wife must have made all the symptoms up I suppose, if that's the case then she put on a hell of a show to be fair. I will take my regular business to the Ammanford branch instead from here on.

Not great experience. Staff very miserable and unfriendly, chatted with others in the queue who noted a particular staff member as “harsh”. Food was just OK, nothing like it used to be. This branch needs staff training in customer service. Note to staff: Just leave if you are not happy with the job that you wanted and applied for. Smile, be friendly, it will make your day go quicker and make me want to come back, which I currently don’t.

No change great food. Dissatisfied with their Neath Branch, we were not allowed to eat in after 5.30, with an excuse of they had to sanitise the tables and chairs, all be it was open until 8 o'clock, surly something that should be done after they close if that important, not good practice. Disappointing this time around no working tills taking only cash, which lead to customers walking out and not buying, needs to be addressed quickly by the company. Staff appeared to be frustrated by this and under unnecessary pressure.

- rude staff & very SLOW STAFF - took about 20-25 minutes just to make two subs - My sun wasn’t even cut. One of the girls working was just wandering around eating a cookie 🍪, not washing her hands and just pottering round looking clueless. Definitely wouldn’t go again!!! Wanted to walk out when they only had one type of bread at 16:30😬🙄

Tried this subway again after an issue the first time I went - I should have known better, order totally wrong and dangerously so, as they put cheese on my when I am allergic to dairy! Staff should learn to read the instructions on the order and also have a lesson in customer service as the reaction when I took it back was one of complete indifference! Young inexperienced staff who have no manners or ability to deal with customers!

In the past this subway has been really substandard with awful staff who have no idea what they were doing. They now seem to have improved with staff who can actually perform the job and seem to actually want to do it as best they can. Still quite slow so if there’s a queue it can reach the door very quickly, if witnesses a few people give up and leave the queue to get something else. One member was stood by the till only doing till work when for a good 5 mins there was nobody to pay yet, leaving the other 2 to make sandwiches at a busy lunch hour. 25 mins in a queue before being served. Only 6 people in front when I walked in (not including those 2 that walked out.)

1. The wait for food was extremely long. I wouldn't complain if it just happened to be a busy time, but one member of staff was working the counter (at an extremely slow pace), whilst another was drinking coffee over her shoulder and talking about their weekend plans. 2. The staff seemed very cold and stand-offish. 3. The woman who was serving kept spilling ingredients in different tubs and not picking them up (allergy issue!!). 4. The subs were extremely luke warm (you could see that the cheese hadn't even melted properly). 5. They wouldn't go to check if there were anymore drinks in the back (they said they weren't sure when I first asked, When I asked if they could check, they said no but didn't give a reason). 6. They tried to overcharge me (it worked out so much more in this store than in the Carms/Llanelli ones).

Some members of staff were quite stand - offish and really quite rude. We weren't quite sure what to do after we entered the store as the lady kept walking away from us and not making eye contact with us, when there were 3 members of staff and literally, only the two of us waiting to order. We had to initiate conversation with the server when we went to order because of this, and then was responded with 'I can't hear you'. This server then walked away, unsure why and another lady came to serve us instead. Other Subway establishments have never, ever, done this before, but apparently the spec of toasted wraps here is to add the salad and sauce.... and in order to have your chosen filling warmed, you have to have the entire wrap with your added salad and sauce warmed in the merry all at once.... Not sure what else to say on this matter... just a bit confused. Completely understand this is a new business, not long opened and there are going to be teething problems, undoubtedly expected. But there are the basics. Engaging with your customers when they enter your store, welcoming them in and also food preparation - making sure items are made to specification - should be the bare minimum. Hoping as time goes on that this will improve as I absolutely love subway, but for my first time inside and from the experiences of friends and family that have ordered food here in the last few weeks, the feedback hasn't been good.

Food was OK apart from burnt meatballs. service was terrible. £29 for our order which is normally £22 in other stores, unable to scan subcard to use/gain points, no receipt provided for whatever reason. First time I've been to this store since it opened. Hope they have improved when I visit next time.

We called there on the way back from Tyn'cornel after a lovely weekend. The food was excellent, I had Scampi, Chips and Mushy peas. I recommend it.
