Subway in Leeds

Absolutely awful. The staff were horrible to us when we went. When I didn’t know what to order, I was asked if the lady there was speaking chinese, when I was just thinking what to order. Horrible experience and will not be going back.

The best subway I’ve had Charlie is a true credit to the firm. Amazing customer service highly recommend!

I don't know if I'm really cross or upset!!! I've just walked out with no food!!! Two customers that came in AFTER me got served before me. I wasn't even acknowledged!! I tried to order from the order machine and was struggling with it. Last time I visited I was told I HAD too do it at the machine as no card payments were taken at the till??? When I heard the lady ordering and saw the card machine I joined the line to order. They then took the order of the customer behind!! Even after I said "Am I invisible!!" Still nobody even looked at me. HOW RUDE!!!! # Disgusting customer service!!

My sandwich looked like it was thrown against the wall before they wrapped it up. Rubbish

The experience here was awful. The staff have terrible attitudes, with shouting, sighing, and tutting. They seem to accept more orders than they can handle, leading to chaos and frustration while making sandwiches. One of the workers, Lucas Patel, even got aggressive and tried to start a fight with my wife. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

Asked for a 6 inch turkey with lettuce, sweetcorn, pickles and tomato with garlic and herb sauce. Got a foot long with no salad and no sauce. Didn't get my crisps either.

Threw onion on my sandwich without asking, then pulled them off with attitude. I still found bits of onion in my sandwich when I got home. Have it your way ? Lol that's funny because I clearly didn't get a choice.

Absolutely disgusting! The 2 Polish women working there were burping and laughing while I was eating my subway . They also speak nasty about customers in their language .

The self-service is horrible. Create your own sub, and it isn't actual to create your own sub There is a customise button that doesn't actually let you customise Subway used to be so good, but they insisted you use those horrible screens. I seriously wouldn't bother with Subway in general, and the staff don't care that the self-service is horrendous

Self service machines are a joke make it worse rather than better staff just look at you blankly and no kids menu

Self service screens are horrible!! Ordered a wrap and they added random stuff to it and asked to be warmed up and it was cold!

Walk in today went to order food got told to use the self service machine never use one in subway Before the staff was not interested in helping at all they just stood there and carried on talking I just walked out

Asian staff laughing at disabled customer for not being able to use machines! Awful and will be taken so much further!!

Basically this subway closing time is 9:00 PM for customers and on Google advertising they showing the closing time is 9:30 , literally misguiding customers .

Nice food but at the time i went in they had a refurbishment and digital boards had been added but if you wanted the personal experience it was cash only, hopefully this has changed.

Forgot half the order, forgot half the toppings, forgot to toast it, and then charged me £10 for the privilege. Don't order from this store.

Service was rubbish I had no input in making sandwich even those I was stood right there And the staff just seemed rude ... and dismissive not friendly at all. Food wasn't anything special either Atmosphere due to staff was just blah

Been twice now and had same terrible service from some miserable guy both times. This time just didn't even order, figured I'd go to the counter as I was wanting to pay cash rather than use the kiosk. Waited at the counter for a few minutes ... no hello or anything .... eventually a stern : " cash or card ?" Not used to be asked how I'm paying before I've even ordered anything when I said cash he didn't reply and then started talking to another customer ! Waited 2 minutes for him to do nothing but ignore me then just walked out.

The new screen order is awful it got my order wrong and couldn’t find anything there and took so long 25min

Tables were not clean. Had to wipe all the food off.

Jesus christ this is absolutely awful food. Not even joking, this stuff is depressing. Every time I order on uber it's wrong, not once or twice, every single time. Dry, bland, old tasting food (that is usually incorrect to what you ordered). How is subway in business?!

I ordered a sandwich, some hash brown bites and ice cream from here the ice cream was open and leaking in the bag didn’t receive the hash brown bites and sandwich was so cold would not recommend.

Great Subway. Never had a problem here. Staff are friendly and can't do anything more for you. We come here at least 3 or 4 times a month since it opened and have no complaints.

Worst subways ever. Went for a breakfast wrap asked the young lass 3 times to heat up the meat and eggs before putting it on the wrap. She totally ignored me and put it straight onto the wrap. She was very rude as well. The elder lady had to take over and heat it up. Got home unwrapped it it was stuck to the white paper it was cold Got a latte might as well be a boiled kettle as there was nothing else. Never again. At least everyone at white rose knows what they are doing. So I will just stick to going there as I will never be back at the Gamecock one

Possibly the worst Subway I've ever been to. Staff were too busy chatting to each other to acknowledge customers and were quite rude when they did. The breakfast melts were cold inside and the bread was dry. There were loads of flies buzzing around the restaurant too. Defo will not eat here again.

Over prices and standard sandwich

I was given a black coffee instead of a cappuccino the women that served me was filling her her own up at the same time and i don't know if she picked up the wrong one I didnt know until I was well way from I was told the wrong info about the points I needed to redeem the coffee for free off of my app I was told I required 200 points instead I only required 150 if you want better value for money I'd better to use town in future this franchise seems like its running low on ingredient I hope noone else has has a similar experience.

Didn’t even get the food as when I was stood in line i had to walk out as I could see one of the workers not changing gloves and touching everything then doing the next persons order, very unhygienic

Very nice staff, funny guy working behind counter, help eachother, dont see why the other review moans about the car park being tidy land owners responsibility isn't it or councils and that other one moaning about having to lean to reach for her food, how over privileged 😂 dont break a nail will you! Good job guys

Far too much litter outside. Accumulated for years. Just the odd sweep outside it in that car park n a few bins wouldn’t kill them. Staff clearly too lazy to.

Just had the worst customer service from this branch!! Miserable, abrupt and rude. Had to lean to the back of the counter to track my order rather than sliding it towards me. Dropped my change in my hand. Not the best service if you want people to return!!

AVOID!! Ordered a foot long "mega meat" what I got was foot long barely any meat....6 meatballs, really!! Could of fitted the contents into 6" no problems.

Got the meatballs sub for myself and partner. It was lovely, only thing was it was a little lacking flavour and dryer then normal, I think it was lacking in the sauce that the meatballs come with. The misses was also let down, I said I'd get her a foot long but she was adamant that it was only 6 inch. 🥖

Ordered a cheesey pepperonni foot long came flat bloody cold like usual not only that not one single bit of cheese think they need to stop slacking with the food everytime I order subways it's the same problem everytime just gunna stop buying them all together

Rude staff. Had to repeat my order twice and the sandwich maker spoke with attitude and got another member of staff to do her work for her. Save your money, go next door to greggs

Went for tea tonight and disgusted to be met with flies all around the counter and menu board.. I’m not even talking a couple it was a dozen at least. A guy working there had even had to put the paper that they wrap your subs in over the salad so the flies didn’t go in! Had to keep a constant eye on my sub as it was been made to make sure a fly didn’t drift in there and get stuck. The sub itself was actually decent quality in the end which is the only reason I didn’t give 1* and luckily I didn’t feel an extra crunch when eating it so think I got away without swallowing any flies. Seriously off putting tho.

Plenty of parking available. Nice and quiet not busy. Good staff. Hot food and drink Tables nice and clean too

Disappointed with my order. I ordered a bacon sandwich for breakfast. The tiger bread was soft and not at all crusty like I would have liked. The bacon was thin, stringy, and almost entirely flavourless. To add insult to injury, I later found out I was charged for a full price BLT, not the breakfast deal.

Order was backwards only thing right with the meal was the bread and meat, rung subway and was told I was wrong about the order and spoke to rude!

I had quite a long wait whilst they sorted out the online orders first (not just finishing off an order but starting fresh orders whilst I stood like a lemon) and no offer to change gloves before making a vegan sub (I was having a meat and vegan sub) which wasn't brilliant but the food was what you expect from subway and good.

Waited 40 minutes for an order that we pre ordered on the app (which in fairness they apologised for profusely), but then completely messed up our order, missed off our children's subs, and got the salad orders wrong on literally every single other sub.

Sandwich nice but got my order wrong twice.

Well made sandwich, very tasty and bogof footlong plus free coffee using reward points so great value. Ordered ahead using the app wich was straightforward and timely.

Stood in a que outside for over 20mins while staff prepared online orders. Clearly don't value customers when I finally got to be served was told the coffee machine was out of order.. A sign on the window would have saved my time.

Staff were polite and sandwich was good

Exceptionally clean, staff immensely helpful and courteous. Gave huge helpings. The only downside it was the most expensive subway I have visited. £14+ for two 12inch subs.

Slow but very efficient service work well under difficult situations

It subway, heck of a lot better than McDonald's but a chain none the less. It is what you expect.

Clean decent place just sandwich a little rushed together and things cut on my bread rather than the boards. Other than that decent subway.

getting too expensive..14.50 for 2 sandwich meals.

Past two times bread hard/stale? It just crumbled when I ate it. Not nice at all. It was like when I feed birds with stale bread and it goes to bread crumbs.

My salad was off the tuna smelled funny. Spoke to the woman on the till she was the manager I think and wasn’t nice about the situation. Also bad portion sizes

By far my favourite fast food place, plus it's a lot healthier compared to others 👀

Went today with 2 of my kids and experienced a great service from the 2 male members of staff.

12" sub with all the trimmings. I know it's not a healthy sandwich but I don't care..... It tastes so good

Ordered off Uber eats here three times and three times they have got it wrong, each time I’ve called they all apparently have no idea what to do to rectify it, absolutely shocking customer service.

You know what you're getting with subways but the 5 stars is mainly for the staff. Connor was great tonight, friendly and helpful, despite it being 10 mins from closing and stock running out.

Decent kids sandwich meals. Pleasant and clean. Reasonable prices.

Poor. Very small salad portions.. requested it be filled up a bit more which she did to be fair but when I opened it at lunchtime hardly any chicken either... not good considering the price

Wasnt great initially... very very small portions ... had to prompt to say surely that's not right and to be fair she handled it well and increased but with a queue it was quite embarrassing and not standard as i have used this shop alot... no consistency so retraining may be the key.

Always like the sandwiches we get frim here....the staff in any of the premises we visit are always very friendly and courteous whuch goes a long way when serving the Public.

Didn't have all the different bread and drinks

Friendly and welcoming. He worked at lightening speed to make our sandwiches! Generous portions and delicious! Nice sit-in corner. Convenient with a toilet in shop, and parking.

Subway if people don't no is not all subways as franchise there business to other companies and they are the ones that go the extra mile to make sure you get a crispy subway just how you like !

Sandwich was OK, Outside the shop the subway shops own litter bin is always over flowing and not emptied often enough. This causes litter to be all over the carpark and down butt lane.

I have been most of subways around Leeds and this is one is my favourite. Clean, plenty space to sit, not overcrowded, staff extremely friendly and they not shabby for some extra salad ;) :)

Absolutely love Subway, always have, this was by far my best experience, the staff were amazingly friendly, making jokes and conversation as well as making my sandwich quick and exactly how I wanted it. Not a single complaint from me

A typical subway the only reason I did not give this more in rating is that it was very busy and seemed rushed to get you through choosing. Parking is also a problem due to where it's situated.
