Subway in Tameside

Always a decent service, as what you would you would expect from a fast food servery, overall, it was very above what was what was expected of the place, I was the only customer at the time so the place was clean and the tables were also cleared of clutter, would wish customers would clear their own rubbish though once they've visited the place, one can make make it easier for the workers as I know they have it hard enough ☺️, but well done to all to to all you you guys xx

Food as always was top notch. Employees were polite & friendly quick walk from cinema, & close to transport routes always a bonus

I really don't like leaving negative reviews, I used to take the kids 2/3 times a week as it's close by and healthy but last 3 times the bread is stale and hard I've told the guy slim small one long hair but he speaks very little English and just gives you a smile which annoys you more I won't be returning here anymore.

Depends what subway shop you go the one in ashton needs a good clean the toilet is really disgusting for a cafe shop but I been to others and they been fine

Couldn’t eat. Queued up for ages, to be told they don’t do gluten free, contrary to their menu.

Misses items for deliveries. Unable to follow a simple printed checklist on a order.

I'm in here getting breakfast everyday

Food was as to be expected but have seen cleaner toilets at festivals, absolutely disgusting and that alone made me question the rest of the stores cleanliness

Never again, I asked for a bunch of things including 2 cheesy garlic breads and instead I got 2 cheese toastie which were more like floppy bread, the woman also nearly messed up another order which I had to tell her 3 times before she listened. While the woman was making the first order I saw a fly land on one of the toastie and so did she and all she did was slap it away but still went ahead and made the food the fly landed on. They used their gloves for all the same food, I'm a vegetarian and I saw them pick up meat with the same pair of gloves before making my food. The guy who took the order didn't even ask what I wanted he just stared at me and the other staff did basically the same thing the atmosphere was just awkward, it felt like they couldn't be bothered. There was a customer in front of me and even she complained because there were flies on everything. This is only the second time I've been to a subway, the first time I actually found meat in my cheese toastie and this was a few years ago, I thought I'd give them another chance but I guess they have just gone downhill. I went there for dinner around 12pm

I ordered via Uber slize of margarita which was messy and whole cheese was on the box, I also ordered sandwich which arrived cold…they forgot to put sandwich in the oven 🥲. How you can mess fast food !? I spend £18 and I am still hungry.

Maybe you should close this store earlier, clearly the staff who works on late shift don’t find it convenient when customers does turn up. Been there on weekdays at 19:30 got lousy services; on Sunday got door locked at 21:35 and staff’s reasoning is Sunday while you opening time on the door clearly stated 22:00 everyday?! Driven down the road to KFC which also closing at 22:00, ordered at 21:47 and greeted with very pleasant staff, and I’m sure it actually takes longer to cook chicken than putting some lettuce in the bread. That’s how you lose your customers, SUBWAY what a disappointment!

Deepak was great whilst serving, even complimented my sub choice. I have an awkward order and it's nice to see someone happy and smiling! Food was great too, which is obviously why we came 😂

The food was heaven and the staff was courteous and professional as usual.

They made me the wrong sandwich and when I tried to tell them they made the wrong one multiple times they argued with me and told me I was wrong so I ended up paying for a sandwich that I hadn't ordered. I don't usually like to leave bad reviews but recommend this one.was very disappointing as I was looking forward to eating this particular sandwich all day as I'd just finished working a long and difficult shirt while sick. Other subways are great I just don't

Staffs are very friendly and takes time to prepare the order.

A footlong is still a foot long, but the bread is definitely not as thick as it used to be!

Order Taste Like Steak. They gave us Chicken Tikka. Called to let them know and the worker was rude and tried to tell me that both my and my partner's sandwich (we both ended up with chicken tikka despite ordering two different sandwiches) were correct. Madness.

I think we were lucky in that it was quiet, no queue and plenty of tables free. Italian bmt was really nice.

Did not listen and real lack of cheese

Very clean and tidy at this one ...staff friendly just a small problem with my food I ordered my girls had there sandwiches they was good they enjoyed it ... but and yes a little but I ordered meatballs with cheese in a tub and have to say they was cold the meatballs the sauce was hotish but not piping hot like normal.. so I went back to ask for replacement and the second lot was just as cold so just left ... just not happy with that one issue... hopefully next time I call in they get it right 🥺🥺

I've visited this subway many many times, it's always good and consistent. So you know what to expect. It's recently had a makeover and looks fresher and more modern than other stores.

I'm not even angry, my experience was so bad it was hilarious. Ordered for me and my fiancée. Two guys behind the counter arguing in a foreign language, grumbling to each other. Told them what I wanted, they had to ask each other how to even do it. Still forgot to add the marinara sauce. Put in the oven and asked the next customers what they wanted before I could even give them my partner's order. While I was finally able to add her order, I told the guy doing my salad that I wanted lettuce. When I was done giving my partner's order, I looked at mine and saw he'd put lettuce and onions on it... so I asked him to take the onions off. The whole time, all three of them (now the manager as well) were grumbling to each other in this foreign language and it was just the funniest, most unprofessional thing I'd ever seen. Won't be coming back.

Been to better Subs I won't be using this one again. But the one round the corner is no better.

A very clean & efficiently run subway shop, everything looked fresh & the staff were very polite. The footlong I bought was well stuffed.

They made my food really fast and i loved it but the chicken was a bit plain.

We order from this subway time to time and everytime there is a new disappointment. This time my partners sandwich was so squashed and still had salad on it even though we didnt ask for any .the last time theyd forgotton our cookies.we love our subways its just on the rare day when we order from this one its alway sloppy work. Not acceptable for the prices we pay

The staff are alright. But hardly any filling on my sandwich. Glad they got the raspberry cookie back.

Food is ok but the guy needs to pay attention to what is said to him when he prepares a sandwich. A customer having to repeat yourself because he'd rather talk to his colleague who is in the back and causing him to forget is unprofessional of him especially during these post covid times.

Rude, miserable and mask under his chin also tried getting me to pay twice. The guy who was on the till acted like I asked him to do a massive challenge when i asked for 2 cookies. Crazy how far subway has fallen over the years.

Very poor show, both in food and service. Also, wasn't participating in promotion of getting a free side with buying two foot-long subs. Not happy.

Why offer your food on Just Eat if you always cancel it?

Half the order missing, thrown together, asked for it to be toasted. When I phoned the store they blamed the delivery driver. They then asked me to re order and they would then add my missing items. He said you only need to spend a few quid now and ill send it for you.

Staff were very rude and talking in there own language and laughing. Asked for a certain sandwich and got a totally different one as the staff member was not listening as he was too busy talking to the other staff member in their own language and laughing, not concentrating. Never again will I go to this subway absolutely disgusting behaviour on behalf of the staff!!

Would not recommend at all, the customer service was appalling. The man who served me called me stupid in front of my children and other people in the shop. This man should not work serving people.

Chicken is still frozen when served in salads, staff very unfriendly and sigh when you ask for more salad.

Uber, delivered a tune sandwich, when I ask and paid for steak and cheese, paid extra for cheese and chipotle sauce and wasn't in there.. Think this was the first and the last time I order food from them.

Very very poor service. The attendant came across quite asperated while I placed my order. The attendant didnt even stay at the till to complete the order he left me make my payment while he went off to serve the next customers. It was quite obvious the difference in how he welcome and treated them!

The sandwich was fantastic but the staff need to smile now and again,I still think Subway are the best and would recommend them to everyone.

Not impressed I had asked prior to ordering my food If the steak has any onion in The member of staff said no and he sounded very confident that he was right But... The steak had large pieces of onion mixed in luckily I hadn't got any of the pieces in my mouth I only got the allergic reaction from the bread where the steak which had been cooked with onion/touching onion I still had an allergic reaction though and the guy knew I had an onion allergy he didn't go and double check the ingredients Luckily i come ready for people/places like this I wasn't able to eat for the rest of the day because it was too painful, it was very sore for several days, i was lucky it wasn't alot worse (so was the stagf and the store) Found it kind of ironic that i thought i was going to be ok with my allergies as the staff had green badges saying to let them know if you have any allergies.

This is like any other subway. The food is good and cheap but here the service was slow. The person behind the counter ignored me for over a minute while she continued taking to her friend.

Staff have no clue no manners and when they make sandwich it's always rushed. Terrible service get new staff

Subway is subway, wherever you go. It's ok, & the idea is a fine one, but I just find everything kinda tastes roughly the same! & Since they stopped doing the "seafood & crab" (long time ago!) I've kinda lost interest!
