Went for a takeaway at 7 as staying in the travel lodge next door and the young girl was on her own and therefore had taken off the melts as she had switched off the ovens and cleaned them early and had no meatballs etc , basically just ham cheese chicken and salad

Never ordered from Just Eat before as I'm one to eat on the healthier side but thought its only round the corner for one subway, won't seem so harsh getting them out for that on a rainy day. Would hate to think the chap was travelling far just for one sandwich! Most people don't care but I do. At this subway however, a liar works here. Received a salad sandwich with zero cheese. Not really going to keep anyone going! I rang up to check if they had stock as thought that would be a reasonable explanation, however, he insisted he put 3 slices in there. I'm absolutely baffled by his audacity to lie when I had the sandwich in front of me. I took a photo as soon as it arrived purely in shock that there was nothing in there but salad and mayo. I know this isn't the worst thing in the world, there are bigger problems, but it's the lying that bothers me!! He even went on to claim that the cheese melts and goes transparent. It definitely does not and the sandwich was stone cold and not toasted?? Do not understand his logic in lying over this? Are you ok? Weirdo. I don't need to lie about stupid things like that, but clearly you do! Anyway enjoy your job at Subway!

We came in around 3:30pm in hopes to be served a half decent sandwich, with a promotional ticket that claimed to offer two six inch subs, two bags of crisps and two soft drinks for £8.99. Upon entering the store we were met with a very moody and uninterested muslim woman sat at the far back behind the counter scrolling through her phone. I said hello and she huffed as if we had inconvenienced her by making her actually earn the money rather than be paid to watch tiktoks. First issue is the lack of interest in doing her job and serving customers, second issue is the lack of english speaking and english understanding, third issue is lack of training and awareness. She completely misunderstood our orders, proceeded to tell us that several of our choices were not served at that location (if not, why were they on the menu) and that she didnt actually know how to make it and was the real reason. She cross contaminated and ended up adding a few pieces of sweetcorn to my sandwich which wouldnt usually be an issue except for the concept of allergies, if i was allergic and hadn't noticed then that would be a fatal mistake (again poor training). We head to pay for our food expecting to pay £8.99 (after sticking to the requirements of the two 6 inch subs, two drinks and two crisps) only for her to charge us full price. The ticket was valid and in date, she told us she did not know (yet again) how to apply the promotional voucher and refused to refund us the difference in price or attempt to offer any sort of complimentary item either. Normally i wouldnt complain or write a review because i see it as quite petty, but the principal of offering people a menu and a promotional ticket and then not even knowing how to make the items or how to apply the discount after making a fuss about having to actually serve customers really rubs me the wrong way and frankly is an abhorrent display of poor training and poor customer service. All i wanted to do was cancel my order and leave. Do better. This is pathetic. Ps. Somehow the "toasted" sandwich was still cold. Im not sure how you mess that up.

I just want to say a Huge shout out to George. We arrived from Ipswich to Poole on the 23rd of December.At around 2pm, we went into Subway unit 2 just opposite the train station and there was a big queue and only one customer assistant working. You could tell the assistant was really stressed out as he was working on his own, had to complete online as well as in store orders. Customers were very empathetic as he was working solo. We all asked George why he was on his own, he mentioned that the manager had left an hour before and had said that it wasn't going to be busy. First of all that's very unprofessional, why is someone leaving an hr early before their shift ends? No one should be operating a store on their own esp at peak times. George you did a great job and you should be proud of yourself!! Merry Christmas

Staff not clean, and no experience in the job. I had been there before and everything was fine, this time there were two men who were not very on the griddle, literally touching their noses and not knowing how to make sandwiches but talking to the customers, my two sandwiches were missing some ingredients like onion sauce and lettuce..... I told them and they ignored me. Very bad service and very bad impression on the customer. I will not go back.

Walked in, the place was dead. I went up to the counter and the lady in the photo said " 2 secs, I'll be with you". She types away on her key board for what was the best part of 2 minutes. I was about to tell her that I'm going to leave as she was clearly too busy to get off her backside and fulfil her promise to help me get breakfast. Luckily another server appeard from the back of the restaurant to help serve me. GUS was his name and he was thoroughly helpful a day polite. Unlike the sour faced woman on her laptop.

If I could give this store a 0* I would. Pre ordered on the app turned up and was given only part of my order that was incorrect. Had to speak the staff through the full order again even though I had ordered online. Then when I said one more item was missing and showed the order they said I was wrong and that that item does not exist. This was untill I pointed it out on the menu. Sizes when we got it home were also not the sizes we ordered. Avoid this branch at all cost.

Had really bad time on this vacation with my son got I'll on top off this the Subway was disappointing,cold,watery meatball marina,when I wrote to complain to customer services they fwd me to a Marcin Kazmierski Operations Manager who just didn't care on couple emails he said he resolve this and after that nothing ignored my emails 3 months on nothing don't trust these managers and as family won't ever be using the subways for a meal again,we shredderd our subway cards and that's end off it,will telling all friends family off our experience with SUBWAY,GOOD LUCK ON ANY PROMOTIONS MR Marcin Kazmierski Operations Manager 0 rating very upsetting

I got a meal and my sandwich was not made properly she just threw the fillings inside a half bread. I asked for it to be toasted but it was rock hard and all the fillings was outside as there was no bottom half of the bread and it didn't seem like a fresh bread. I asked for americano and got what looks like cheap instant coffee. No taste! Only found out when I got on the train! That was definitely not Americano!! Morning ruined!! Thanks

Visited end of August, drove into the car park at 13.10, served and paid at 13.19- I’ve got the contactless receipt on my phone. Usual 100 questions What would you like? What size? Extra Cheese? Toasted? Any salad? Any Sauce? Any sides? Crisps? Cookies? Drinks? Sometimes but not always I get asked for a loyalty card and I just get this this point and I don’t have one even though I do like a Subway I took my lunch back to my car as there’s obviously a global pandemic going on and I just don’t want to touch anything or be around too many people unnecessarily. Got a £45 Smart Parking Notice fine 😡 Because my visit was 46 minutes and apparently the maximum is 30. I popped back in yesterday to ask how long this has been the case and was told approximately two years 🤷🏼♀️ Was also told ‘we don’t have any responsibility for the car park’ My points are these… - do you want repeat happy customers? Probably yes- so surely you would say ‘ do you need to validate your car today?’ Just like you have asked quite a few questions already to keep customers happy and increase your profits - I’m already hungry and trying to swerve too many humans and not touch stuff, the car park validation iPad thing is in front of about ten different posters/ displays there’s one advertising a meal deal, one adverting the app, two covid qr codes, one about face coverings, one about track and trace, one for Ben and Jerry’s, one saying mobile order pick up point, a charity jar, a piece of paper for those without an app, a pile of bear fruit bar things and pile of leaflets…..then there’s the iPad thingy I was apparently supposed to put my reg in, by touching it at a time where you just don’t touch anything you don’t need to. Confusing customer journey. - there is obviously some responsibility if you have put the iPad thing in there… obviously you don’t want people parking for an excessive amount of time that aren’t customers…I was a customer and I was 46 minutes. Perhaps this is an extra income stream for the landlord? - been before and quite like the offering but if my appeal isn’t accepted and I do have to pay this, I’ll just boycott all subways. Terrible experience.

It's pointless only had a one sub and that was my fainàce and I had someone else's and they said "it's my fault for being too quiet " however I was waiting for my new sub because it came with a coupon 'DINE FOR TWO FOOTLONG' and it took nearly a hour for my first one but they gave it away then they feel like it was a joke and told me to wait another 40 minutes I just feel like having a refund for waiting to long after they taking the piss! anyway got my sub and all I find is hair in it and they didn't apologise for me waiting nicely ...afterwards I had the worst time on the buoge

Would give this 0 stars if possible. Rudest customer service I’ve ever received. Opening greeting was “WHAT” in a loud voice. Unbelievably this was the politest the guy was during our brief transaction. Became sarcastic and rude because I didn’t know which bread I wanted (I’m not really used to ordering in Subways) and even banged on the counter 3 times because I was looking for the options in the wrong place. No chance they were getting any of my money after that, so I walked out. Horrific customer service.

When I visited it was quiet, the staff was attentive and made my veggie salad to perfection. I recommend this subway over the one in the dolphin centre if you’re looking for lunch before you head out of Poole.

We could have sat anywhere as it was empty but every table was dirty and the floor looked like they had fed animals on it. No food should be served here in the condition we found it in if it's that bad out front then what the earth is it like out back?

A group of 9 of us visited this Subway under Travelodge approx 5pm today. The member of staff who seemed to be on her own was working so hard. She was very pleasant and was coping extremely well and not showing any signs of stress! A definite candidate for employee of the month!! Just a shame we didn't get her name.

Been to this store several times. When the manager is there it is good. When he is not the staff cut corners, I.e. Not changing gloves when necessary, dirty sides etc and rude to customers. However, today was a whole new level. My friends and I ordered two subs and a salad. The subs were veggie hence my comment about no glove changing. The girls have no finesse and dollop a minimal amount of cheese and lettuce in the salad. The girl had to peel paper off the meat in the salad. She left bits of paper on the meat! There was a technician in the food area drilling, which concerned us in terms of health and safety. We then waited 10 minutes to pay and were concerned as to our food getting cold. I had to ask what the hold up was and was informed then that the till had broken. Not sure broken it had been broken a while! I asked them what are we doing.? No response. Where is the manager, no idea they said. Can we pay by cash we asked? Yes they said. Then they thought the machine was working they then said no it isn't. Can we pay, I asked by cash no they said. What are we doing then. The staff shrug their shoulders. I call head office there and then who don't do anything because it is a franchise. 7 lads in front of us have been waiting to pay since before we come in. They need to go, we need to go. We are all on our lunch break. What is happening we ask? Can we take our food for free ( it's going in the bin anyway? Can pay cash or by card? No they said. What do we do, they just look at us. Finally, all the people in the queue leave safter a good 20-25 minutes and at least 9 subs and a salad go in the bin. The shop should have either had a sign up saying cash only, or informed you when you went in or at least told before you ordered the food not wait until a customer asks what is going on surely. I was told a manager was on their way once I had called head office. I was told I would get a call back shortly. That was 4 hours ago. Finally, this branch was quite dirty today where the crisps are, again, not so when the manager is there.
