I’ve never felt the need to leave a bad review before, but my recent visit to Subway was hands down the worst fast-food experience I’ve ever had—all thanks to one employee: Lisa. First, my friend and I tried to redeem a reward from the Subway app, and Lisa lectured us like children about how we "can’t use the same app" for two separate orders. Then, when I tried to redeem my free drink reward, she literally went to the back and turned off the soda machine before handing me my cup. I took a sip, and all I got was carbonated fizz with zero flavor—just flat, sad disappointment in a cup. Was this some kind of power trip? A petty revenge because we dared to use an app the "wrong way"? Either way, Lisa’s attitude was unprofessional, rude, and downright ridiculous. She’s an embarrassment to Subway, a brand I used to enjoy. I won’t be returning to this location as long as she’s working there. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually appreciates customers. Lisa, you’re the reason people hate fast food.

The experience in the subway was easy and simple and that's what made it good

My meal was great my wife’s meal was perfect but apparently kids are not allowed to order Tuna “even if it mentions that it’s ok for tuna to be in kids meal on the website and on the offer” my child wasn’t allowed to have what he was craving and that’s why the 1 star

I came to this subway for the first time today. I was having SUCH an awful day Then I came across this young server named Malek (I believe). She made my sandwich with such care that it was the best BMT sandwich I have had in a long while. It helps that she accommodated for the fact that I have celiac disease (I can't eat gluten bread) and she gave me gluten free bread She's honestly such a bundle of joy . Her presence in the subway lit up the room, especially since the other middle aged lady near the counter was looking miserable. Malek was still super sweet and polite and super chatty Honestly amazing customer service 👍

Been several times with mixed experiences but unfortunately won't be returning. Was served food with white mould on and the meat was entirely cold in the middle and warm on the outside so entirely inedible. Called to let them know and was offered a free cookie, which is very kind but doesn't make up for the £5+ cost of the inedible sub or the lack of concern about actual mould on the food!!! Very concerning

Staff need proper training. As a business owner they are letting the branch down (british lady middle aged) has a really bad attitude I visited on 27th January at around 13:00. I've been to many subways but never had an experience like this before. Staff member (slim built middle aged lady) has really bad attitude. Serving with a face on and also being awkward. She didn't let me refill a "refillable drink" I have never had to this experience before. This are no notes or written notice to state this information. Just simply said the boss doesn't allow it anymore- this is unacceptable and subway should take action against this branch The young lady in headscarf was lovely and helpful. Reported to subway and will file a complaint against them

All 3 BMT had no cheese on, plus 1 had no sauce!! All wanted cheese and sauce. Not upto usual standard, disappointed.😩😞

I asked for a bmt and as you would you assume its normal ingredients they put on only to find out it was turkey ham not real ham im allergic to turkey i just dont get why you can call something tirkeu ham its either ham or turkey im now in a and e nice one 👍if i fidnt like i certain curry i wouldnt get it it doesnt mean tjey have to start making lettuce chicken tikka bullshit never go here

Order never arrived. What is the purpose of having a code if the driver states delivered if you don’t deliver it to the customer?!

I order a sub, the two ladies, behind the counter today were useless, they can even make a sandwich, my sub fell apart in the car as soon as i opened it, the cheese was stuck half on the bread & half on the white paper, which meant i could not pick up my sub, without everything falling apart and the bread ripping! Cmon guys sort out your staff, and train them how to put together sandwich !!!!

Staff were super friendly and they even offered to change their gloves when I asked for the vegetarian foot long sub. You can choose anything you want and all the food displays were super clean. It’s quite small inside but for those taking away or a few needing to sit down, it’s absolutely fine. Will definitely go again!

I even have photos. The sandwich had barely any meat or salad in it had to move meat form one side to another which left places with no meat at all

I ordered a veggie delight through deliveroo. I wanted cheese, all the salad and mayo. It came with just peppers and mayo. I called to query as that isn't what I had ordered. A very rude woman answered that's what they had received through. There's clearly a problem with deliveroo ordering in that case but rather than trying to sort the issue with me she hung up on me. Charming. I'm a regular customer and needless to say I won't be ordering from them again.

I had to redeem points and I mentioned I have my sub card and I noticed that a colleague in this store called Mariam didn’t put through my points as she did it after the transaction and also the English women she doesn’t smile always angry looking she just wants the orders to be done but also she need to see quality of the food as it was overloaded meat in the sandwich which made the sandwich dry I think the English women is called Lisa old women always miserable need to cheer up and very aggressive towoards staff members and also once this Shri lanken tall guy he put too much sauce in my sandwich and a colleague called Rihanna which is amazing she said it’s too much sauce to the guy and he just laughed so bad service Also they is the person called beera amazing service on 8 June 2024 the women who was working with her I ordered online and asked her for garlic mayo and she said she only can do what’s ordered on the receipt even though I was there in store and was middle of putting sauce on and I ask this question and she said no I only can put what’s on the receipt I asked her online only gives you two choices online so that’s why I came in store to make sure I get garlic mayo and she said no again so I said leave it most rubbish subway I had that day

Food came so fast cos it was bone cold

My drink was missing from the meal deal. I wasn't given a option to have this refund as it was in the deal.

Their chip and pin doesn't work for any bank cards. However, I'm sure the contactless works just fine but when you have a card that doesn't do contactless then this is a big issue. Luckily I had spare change to pay for the order but seriously sort out your card reader. I've never had this problem anywhere else.

If something is out of stock, you should call your customer and offer a replacement. Not just deliver the order and let them find out afterwards. I paid for a meal deal, you expect all the items to come in that price, not be delivered with something missing. Thanks.

I was served by Mathew, honestly he had incredible customer service extremely polite and hospitable. The best subway experience I have ever had all because of mathew. Only a promotion would be fit for Mathews incredible service

I came in to order 2 foot long sandwiches with the offer of kids free meals with sandwiches only to be told that they don’t do it. I have checked, the website states this store is one of the participating stores, and it was just a decline of offer without a good reason why. I also wanted to order chicken breast with teriyaki sauce only to be told that this also can not be fulfilled either as it was not an allowed formula to give. As far as I know, in subway you can create your own sub, so I wasn’t sure why this was not the case today. I am normally served my order without hassle in this store, but this is not the first time I had trouble getting my order with one staff member who is typically in on evenings, who lacks customer service skills and often argumentative. I would have to think twice about going there again.

Fairly standard Subway, can be tricky to park close by (there is a certain other very popular takeaway a few doors down which seems to attract a lot of people!).

Very unprofessional. Won’t let you use your sub points in store. Also if you place a large order such as a few boxes of cookies they will refuse it. Not friendly at all.

Delivery was very bad .man dropped food when he saw the dog and knocked light off wall . This light was very exepnsive and meant very much .

Despite having given clear directions as to where I am and him having a bicycle, I had to walk down the path to Willow Way to meet the delivery driver. As I am disabled which is why I ordered in the first place, I did not expect to have to go and get my meal from the driver.

Ordered through Deliveroo - was meant to be steak and cheese but as you can see there was next to no actual steak

Getting stingy with the salad toppings

I ordered a footlong melt meal and just got a footlong melt. The drink crisps and cookie were missing… not to mention poorly packed… I opened the footlong packaging and the whole thing was falling apart.. 😔

Subway wasn’t toasted, disgusting

It looks like my order got duplicated. The restaurant prepared one order but the driver told them he was expecting to deliver 2 orders so the restaurant prepared a duplicate order and both were delivered to my address. I believe the restaurant should have phoned me to clear up the confusion instead of taking the driver’s advice. I am stuck with more sandwiches than we can eat. And my credit card is not happy. Not sure I trust the ordering system anymore 😔

Ordered 2 footlong sandwiches and received not footlong but 6inch and they were both freezing cold

Every employee has a right to a comfortable break and lunch. I do find it appalling for an employee to be sat in the front with their shoes off, a foot on the chair and repeatedly shouting for the other employee to come out of the back whilst loudly watching a video. It was off putting to say the least.
