Subway in Manchester

I was served by Mathew, honestly he had incredible customer service extremely polite and hospitable. The best subway experience I have ever had all because of mathew. Only a promotion would be fit for Mathews incredible service

I came in to order 2 foot long sandwiches with the offer of kids free meals with sandwiches only to be told that they don’t do it. I have checked, the website states this store is one of the participating stores, and it was just a decline of offer without a good reason why. I also wanted to order chicken breast with teriyaki sauce only to be told that this also can not be fulfilled either as it was not an allowed formula to give. As far as I know, in subway you can create your own sub, so I wasn’t sure why this was not the case today. I am normally served my order without hassle in this store, but this is not the first time I had trouble getting my order with one staff member who is typically in on evenings, who lacks customer service skills and often argumentative. I would have to think twice about going there again.

Fairly standard Subway, can be tricky to park close by (there is a certain other very popular takeaway a few doors down which seems to attract a lot of people!).

Very unprofessional. Won’t let you use your sub points in store. Also if you place a large order such as a few boxes of cookies they will refuse it. Not friendly at all.

The lady that was working the till yesterday afternoon, does not know the meaning of customer service, she needs to be replaced by someone who wants a job. Won't be coming here again.

Ordered through Deliveroo - was meant to be steak and cheese but as you can see there was next to no actual steak

Every employee has a right to a comfortable break and lunch. I do find it appalling for an employee to be sat in the front with their shoes off, a foot on the chair and repeatedly shouting for the other employee to come out of the back whilst loudly watching a video. It was off putting to say the least.

Small location with no toilet facilities, but friendly staff and tasty food make up for it.

Brilliant customer service and friendly, yet professional staff, namely Lisa and Nash. Will be coming to this local branch again.

Genuinely the worst subway in Great Britain

Items missing from Uber Eats order. Rang to enquire and the staff were super unhelpful. Garbage service.

First timer. Got a cheese steak sub with jalapeños, peppers and onions. No cookies available, so got crisps. By and large a decent meal, priced at 3.99 (after vouchers applied). Staff friendly enough, clean environment, but apparently you can't eat in after 7.30pm. What's that all about?! In summary, decent and would go again.

Service was good 👍 so rest of it can be ignored.

Nice local subway - tuna melt and nachos loaded with cheese and jalepnos are my favourite. My grandsons like to visit occasionally.

I have been in here a few times but never again the staff are extremely rude especially the blonde tired looking one! Always putting the online orders through before the actual customers. They seemed overwhelmed with doing they’re actual job! One of them was literally just standing there talking about her private life! Boring and the salad looks manky

I live with 3 Ladies and quiet often come here. With my support worker. I always have the Salad box as does my support worker its always delicious and the Staff are always helpful and friendly love you all

I had to redeem points and I mentioned I have my sub card and I noticed that a colleague in this store called Mariam didn’t put through my points as she did it after the transaction and also the English women she doesn’t smile always angry looking she just wants the orders to be done but also she need to see quality of the food as it was overloaded meat in the sandwich which made the sandwich dry I think the English women is called Lisa old women always miserable need to cheer up and very aggressive towoards staff members and also once this Shri lanken tall guy he put too much sauce in my sandwich and a colleague called Rihanna which is amazing she said it’s too much sauce to the guy and he just laughed so bad service

Worst experience ever with zero level of awareness on use of chemicals around food. At around 8pm on the 21st of December, I was waiting for your team to clean the food area with a glass cleaner. I told the staff to cover the food instead of spraying around the food. I even showed him how he could cover the food but was persistent that he didn't need to. Please review your CCTV and you will find this issue! Chemicals like glass cleaner should NOT BE SPRAYED OVER THE FOOD!

poor service. wanted wash my hands before i eat my veggie sub,girl behind the counter said no washroom.i dont think any seen any subway without the wash room.pais by card receipt did not provided.and yes when i enter in subway staff wasnt there i had to wave them they were in store room.bad servuce

Most definitely the worst Subway in the entire world. Rude staff, with no customer service skills or desire whatsoever. I wish they had closed this subway down instead of the one in Didsbury Village. One thing is clear: The attitude of staff at this Subway means Subway is not getting anymore of my money.

The worst Subway on the planet. Ordered 2 subs and they delivered bread with sauce. Took it back to get the order fixed and instead got abused by the staff about my attitude, before they made me the proper sandwiches.i was a bit scared that they might spit inside my sandwiches. Don't ever go to this place.

Disgustingly rude staff with no manners and customer service skills. Lack basic human respect and treat you like your an inconvenience. More interested in finishing off their own conversation between each other than sorting out your order. Disgusting

The bread was really bad subway getting worse 😕 and worse every time I get one no more 🙃

No level of customer service skills what so ever! Lina who served me (so her name tag said - deep voice, mousey brown hair) had the attitude of a diva on community service and the rudeness levels so high it is unbelievable. In between serving me where no 'hi, hello, thank you' was mentioned she was busy criticising the previous customer to the other staff member.

Not good at all, definitely using old food thats gone off and staff need training on customer service. Subway just give out franchises but this branch is giving it a bad name.

Have to edit the 4 star rating as it is clearly a lie now. Numerous occasions where this Subway has messed up and clearly lacking customer service. A woman wearing a red bandana seemed to be afraid of stepping up to the bread section to let me begin my order, constantly going to the back even after looking at me dead in the eyes multiple times. A fair apology would have done but never mind, another fella came in apologised for her and let me begin. Got my fillings in, everything done, wrapped up and all that was left was to pay. Lo and behold the woman made a reappearance and this time she's brought her phone out with her and while I'm just starting at her awkwardly, she decides now to be trained by the person on the phone on how to arrange and balance the till. Again the fella apologised but the woman was in the area of the till and he couldn't take over. Shocking.

You have to give a minimum of 1star but if you didn’t have to there would be none at all after the experience from this particular subway today! On a few occasions there’s been mistakes from this subway on lane end burnage, but today’s was the worst. Ordered on just eat for 2 sandwiches spending 8.99 on each meal deal which when opened the sandwiches were wrong the wrong sauces in the wrong boxes and on a tuna sub that was meant to have lettuce onion sweet corn and peppers there was only lettuce which to be honest I could of just made this sandwich at home, I just don’t understand how you can forget all that on one sandwich. Also I ordered tangy cheese Doritos with the meal because the only crisp available to order on the just eat app are ready salted, cheese and onion or Doritos and I received quavers. My drink was also advertised as a 500ml bottle which is the only reason I choice the drink and they send a 375ml bottled drink! Oh and last but not lease the hair in the box really give it that added extra, schools really need to do a GCSE in common sense before letting people out into this world.

UK Subway is so much better than in the US and the one near me has always served high quality sandwiches packed with fresh toppings. Get the app and collect points for free subs.

Tried their breakfast before Gym. Brilliant food for the best start of the day .

Food is always very fresh and tasty although the portion sizes seem to have shrunk somewhat (the salad bowls especially). Staff are always friendly.

Friendly and efficient never need to wait long. Always make sure your order is right and and take payment whilst it is cooking if its not busy.

Emergency lunch option. Won't be making that mistake again. The food is garbage. Please eat something better and maintain a wide berth of this place.

decent subway, however they should serve until close of trading hours i.e 7am-10pm. Many times staff are clearing up and stop serving at 930-940pm. Trading hours= hours open for business...... Always run out of meatballs. On once instance had no bread available. Another instance toaster was not working. Rant over

Good staff good food good price.

Always running out of something, woman who works their doesn't have a clue how to manage the store on her own, the guy who works their is very nice.

Great, very quick and polite staff , my son loves the Big Beef Melt, and won't have a change. He likes the fact that they have a chat with him , he is 9 .

I've been here a dozen times or more and it's very hit and miss. 9 times out of 10 they will have run out of something. Whether it's the meatballs or the bread or something else. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because the staff seem pretty decent.

Does what a subway should. Often have to settle for a different bread as the one i want is usually not there (hearty italian or herbs and cheese). Nothing much to add for those who have been subway before.

I have to say I've been in more than a few different Subway outlets across Manchester none of which are a patch on this one on Lane End in Burnage, super efficient friendly staff who all go that extra mile to ensure top notch customer satisfaction.

Great place , Staff are bang on . Always assist & have great skills.
