Subway in Corby

proper rude bloke behind the counter. Needs a life. Proper disrespected my mates for absolutely no reason. Hope he gets fired

I went for lunch and asked for a veggie sandwich. The person in front of me had a pork meat sandwich. The employee put cheese slices on his sandwich, but the customer said he didn’t want cheese. The employee took the cheese off of his sandwich and put it back into the pot with the other cheese slices… The employee then got my bread and put cheese slices from the contaminated pot onto my ‘veggie’ sandwich. I advised him that I had asked for a veggie sandwich and suggested it wasn’t the best idea to cross contaminate, although I’m not vegetarian, I let him know that it could really bother some people. I also mentioned that there are certain people that can’t eat pork for religious reasons. His response was “we can’t guarantee things aren’t contaminated”. I said that he could reduce that risk by not putting the cheese back in the same pot… Meanwhile he had begun toasting my sandwich even though I did not ask for it to be toasted. He rudely stated that if I hadn’t been talking so much, I would’ve heard him ask me. I decided to leave and I won’t be going back.

We visited on 6th March 2022 at 15:30. The 2 male members of staff on duty need educating that when a customer orders a Nacho Chicken Sub, that does not mean Nacho bites. Very disappointed, as was my 11 year old son who had to go without his Sub. Staff only seemed interested in upselling.

We have eaten here on many occasions but they have new staff and the quality is nowhere near what it used to be. Today was our final visit as the steak and cheese wrap had hardly any filling in at all and the chicken and bacon sub was over grilled/cooked and when opened up out of its wrapper it literally broke up and also same as the wrap the filling was non existent.

Called in for a foot long and six inch subway. I had ham my wife had vegi meat balls. Both served well and tasted good

We went in here as a family. The male member of staff appeared after a queue appeared and proceeded to miss my husband in the queue and serve people behind him. When my daughter told him what he had done he was very rude back to her and just shrugged his shoulders. They took ages to serve people. We took our food away which was cold after 5 minutes and tasted horrible. Avoid this place. Horrible service, horrible food.

Stood for ages watching the bloke tidy up, he never even looked up but knew I was there, don't waste your time.

We've used this Subway quite regularly but it has gone seriously downhill in the last year or so. The older staff member is surly and miserable, seems to hate the job and everyone. We thought we'd try the nacho sub - picture looked good. The bread roll was virtually torn apart, the meat filling was squashed onto about two thirds of the its length and was then topped with one and a half nacho crisps. When I queried this, I was given a daggers look and a half hearted attempt was made to spread the filling. I also queried the nachos amount and was told that I'd get four if I had a 12 inch sub! The attitude and the presentation was so bad we walked out and had a lovely baguette (with friendly service) in the Greggs next door - fully filled and cheaper. The last time we went to this Subway it was also disappointing but we thought maybe just a bad day - no, whoever is running this (only the older guy seems to be consistent so assume he is the manager) needs lessons in customer service or given the sack.

The service was totallly appalling, with one of the workers making loud phone calls whilst the queue built. The card machine wasn’t working, which we were not prompted about until the order was placed. No free toy with the kids meal due to ‘no Xmas deliveries’?? No substitute offered. A smile wouldn’t have gone amiss. Wouldn’t use this branch again.

Friendly and efficient staff. Usual Subway food and services. A few tables and chairs do you can eat out of the car when on the move.

Just the usual Subway service and standard, could have done with being slightly bigger to fit more tables in.

Service was good and the sandwich was nice but way to expensive at £6:10. For that price could have gone to the pub for lunch.

I can only say what I see I was served quickly The food looked fresh and tasted great I have never had a problem at this sub way

Very good place a nice young man serverd me and I'll tell you that was best costumer service to and had nice blue eyes just makes me wanna come back haha

Working on a project for a company nearby, I’ve made the mistake of getting lunch here three times, each time the service has been beyond rude. Surly male staff who have never heard of “please” or “thank you”, even if you extend it their way. Rude looks and attitude. The salads presented are teeny tiny and once they’ve taken payment, your food is left on their side of the counter and isn’t passed to you, instead the server will just wander off. Honestly, I realise I’m adding a review for a subway (fairly daft, they are what they are), but if you hate serving people, don’t work in customer service! Not returning.
