Wrong order delivered, Stone cold food. Rang up and they literally didn’t care at all. Didn’t offer any kind replacement or refund. They hung up the phone when I explained that delivering the wrong food like this could cause someone to have a serious allergic reaction. Poor all around.

Called in at lunchtime 19th July, the one member of staff was too busy preparing delivery orders to take ours. After heating and then wrapping five orders he had time to deal with us and two waiting behind us. A second member of staff arrived, collected orders from behind the counter and went off to deliver Good sandwiches when we got them in clean surroundings. Only other thing there was no horseradish amongst the eight ssuces on offer. 5/5 forctge food, less so the service.

Visited this store just to spend our 1000s of loyalty points which were soon to expire. We were told that the scanner was not working, but that we should make our purchase anyway with cash and then contact Subway online to claim a refund in exchange for points taken out the account. This was a complete lie by the member of staff and we never received a refund. Now the points have expired, we are out of pocket, and I'll never visit a Subway branch again.

Tuesday 19th of September went to get food and it was 8:20pm and the door was locked and 2 staff members counting the money but it says they close at 9pm. Thats 40minutes before close time. Change your times if you will close at 8pm. Or train your staff to stay open till 9pm. The subway in Abingdon serves till closing time even if you walk 10-15min before close time yes they may clean but they will serve you. The one in Wantage need the manager to pick on his lazy staff members. I am regular there as I live in Wantage never happened to me before the manager does his job but the new members that were hired do whatever they want. I will just use Abingdon one as is managed better!

The guy serving me today was very rude. I ordered the correct sandwich and he made me a completely different one, when I said I didn’t want it he got stroppy and was saying impolite things under his breath. Management you should train your staff better, I’m disappointed in the service I received today and it’s put me off coming to subway. Other customers were in the store during this interaction and it was embarrassing. I get that staff have bad days but his attitude wasn’t the best, it’s not my fault he didn’t make my order correct!

Horrible customer service. Staff were very inefficient. They serve one customer at one time, so from the start to the end, even while waiting for the bread to be toasted. I have been to many subways and this by far was the worst. They didn't know how to use my sub points to redeem my sandwich. I waiting 30 mins in queue (of 5 people) before it was my turn.

After 3 months of patiently waiting - it is impossible to 1: claim or receive any points for your SUBS and 2: grab a receipt - the service is OK but if you collect rewards or need a receipt for business expenses - AVOID this branch at all costs. The franchisee just cant be bothered to address the issues and instead leaves their staff to deal with customer complaints!

My family and I visited Wantage subway on Saturday and enjoyed some really lovely fresh tasting food. Shop was lovely and clean and service was fantastic and efficient. We were served by a lovely lady named belinda who was happy and cheerful and greeted everyone with a smile. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be visiting again. What happened? Tasty House, once the ‘low end’ of Abingdon Chinese take-away really seemed to get its act together over the last year… new young chap manning the phone/counter, food wonderful. Now their door seems permanently closed. Tasty House - will you ever return?
