Some of the worst fish and chips we have tasted. The fish batter was rubbery. The chips were anemic and soggy and overall the whole meal was very greasy.

Great fish and chips and really friendly staff. Sorry to hear Elaine is leaving after serving customers for the last 28 years. My partners dog will certainly miss her as she has a supply of gravey bones that she gets off her when passing the shop early in a morning.

Service was a bit slower than usual and there seemed to be a little lack of communication between staff and customers over orders. Generous portions.

Excellent chippy in Lincoln Way, Beverley - in fact easily the best in Beverley. As they are owned by Stuarts of Driffield, I wasn't expecting much, as since the company took over the chippy's at Mill Lane, and Grovehill Road, Beverley, their services are simply dreadful. So I've been using a Chippy 8 miles away in Hull. But I thought I would give this one a try - and I'm glad I did. The food is fantastic. The service is prompt and accurate. The staff are friendly, and the place is very clean and tidy. Maybe the company (and other Beverley chippys) could learn a thing or two from this outlet, about how to provide proper customer service.

Always good grub and good prices. We have the OAP portions (ask for small fish when you get there) and us plenty. I love the atmosphere there too.

Been going here since 1995 then it was the best fish and chip shop in Beverley. Now it ranks as one of the worst. Last 3 visits have been thoroughly disappointing with the chips being the highlight. After nearly 30 years we're giving up and going elsewhere.

I have used this Fish & Chip shop a few times now and I must say it's been lovely. I wish I could buy a half portion of Chips 🍟 it's to many for one person I hate waste. The person who believes that this shop is expensive needs to try Deep Blue, I bought Fish&chips, pickled onion and a can of pop was £16.85. That was with delivery, yes it was nice and well done how I like it. I am new to the area and that's what I call expensive. I lived in North Lincolnshire before and you could ask for a haddock and a handful of chips with scraps. They never charged for them just the regular haddock. 🤗

The Lincoln Way branch is our local shop. Freshly prepared and good sized portions.

Inedible, it may have been 7.20 at night but as a caterer of 40yrs your last dish should be the same as you're first. I don't expect to pay for a dried out white battered sausage or a bag of scrappy dried out chips, even the thin bland gravy could not breath any life into this dead end meal 😐

This is an excellent Fish & Chip Shop, everything is freshly cooked for you and the staff are very pleasant. It's going to be a very sad day this weekend, when after 28 years service, Elaine leaves. She certainly knows what her regulars orders are and even buys special treats for some four legged friends, my lovely Annie included.

Go regularly, you order at the window and queue outside. Never had to wait long.

It's a long time since I had fish 'n' chips to take out but I just really fancied it tonight. Well, the fish was excellent and the chips were just as they should be - and even though the portion was a little bit too generous, I ate the lot! I'll definitely be going again! 👍

Not my favourite fish and chips a bit on the pricier side compared to some and in my opinion the quality is variable. Convenient location and open for most of the day into the evening.

Got chips from here today for tea. The chips were really dry and not nice at all, even my son who will eat anything said they tasted horrible. The patties were also very unappetizing. Will not be returning, will drive to Papas in Willerby from now on.

With exceptionally advanced techniques of cookery, I am surprised that, such a quaint town that Beverley is, we are bestowed with this wonderful mockery of foreign cuisine. Thank You Lord! Thank You! Brilliant. Gravy second to none, the fish is tender and perfectly battered, the chips so free of grease and even the bread cakes are gorgeous. All this at these prices, it's amazing how they manage it
