Strand Cafe in West Somerset

The breakfast was disgusting and felt cheap.Too expensive for the poor quality of food.Tomatoes were like stiff mush.the hash browns were cheap horrible disgusting things and the eggs were mank.

Friendly staff,wide variety of meals and desserts and sundaes. Code provided for customers to use the toilets. Massive choice of ice cream flavours, something for everyone. Enjoy

I've been visiting The Strand my whole life and now my daughters love it too. The same family has owned/run it for as long as I can remember, and they recognise me every year when we visit, which is rather nice. The ice cream sundaes are wonderful!

Looking like part of a penny arcade, our hopes were not high. However, the service was bright and friendly and the food delicious. Just goes to show that appearance can be deceptive. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

The Strand has been there for as long as I can remember and is like an old fashioned 1950s cafeteria which has hardly changed at all. Great selection of food with emphasis on ice creams and desserts. Food is plentiful and tasty and it's a great place just to have a relaxing meal whilst looking at the sea and watching the world go by.
