Strada - Chiswick in Hounslow

El servicio era bueno. La comida era mediocre. Pedí la lubina. El tamaño del plato era relativamente pequeña. La comida no estaba mal pero nada sorprendente. No pide la lubina si volviera a visitar STRADA de nuevo. Decir que el desierto era muy agradable. Tuve el fondant de chocolate que era de buen tamaño y buen sabor. La camarera hizo algunos errores con nuestros pedidos, pero eso era de esperar con un grupo grande para servir y ella pidió disculpas por los errores. También hay errores en la factura, así que me tomó un tiempo al final de la comida para obtener la factura correcta se ordenan.

This place is OK for a quick meal although the service wasn't very speedy it was courteous. The food was way too salty (mine) my friends' dishes were OK. Just OK overall really!

WAS GOOD but now CLOSED, with NO explanation , NOTHING , HOPE some thing more INTERESTING will open, so not much to say after it was shut in September

nothing special but at the same time not disappointing ,pasta is cook al dente and they got good choices for the kids

Went for lunch today. One meal had two hairs in it and the other meal (chicken) wasn't cooked properly! Pity - been here many times before but won't be back.

We enjoyed good food - there was an excellent ambience and the staff were very friendly and efficient. I particularly liked the salmon dish as a main. It is a no frills place but we were made to feel special and will certainly return again.

booked a table via their website, arrived at the restaurant on time and presto, we were nicely greeted and ushered to our table. nice decor and restaurant layout not overcrowded. we had the antipasto to share, nicely presented, worth a try. the quality of food is very good, cavatappi pollo crema was deemed to be an interesting dish for its simplicity and flavour, for dessert, affogato and cherry and ricotta cheesecake were the favourites amongst us all. now, the real winners were Gianpis and his colleagues who were extremely efficient and super-duper customer service oriented. main meals were served warm and the gap in between courses were just right which allowed us a little breather. good selection of wines and liqueurs although prices are a little bit on the expensive side but shouldn't really matter if you've got a team of servers who can make the dining experience fun and exceptionally pleasant.

Mi pareja y yo visitamos este restaurante esta tarde. La primera impresión fue buena, pero tan pronto como nos sentamos hemos observado que las mesas no estaban muy limpias ni los sofás. Fue un poco extraño ya que era hora punta de recogida (fuimos los únicos clientes) así que creo que la camarera podría haber limpiado un poco más. Pedimos un plato una mozzarella di buffalo pero el pan que viene con el plato era sin duda rancios. También pedimos dos bebidas para beber, y uno de los dos copas no era muy bien lavados y olía a cebolla. Soy votación esto una media como la comida principal era bastante bueno y la camarera era muy servicial. También la decoración muy moderna. es un poco caro, con dos bebidas, un primer plato y dos platos principales que pagamos 32 libras. Nuestra impresión es que con pequeñas correcciones que podrían ser mucho mejor.

Location and atmosphere was great. As we don't know London that well we were very suprised to see a great selection of resturant just off the main street. Decided on the resturant as the prices was reasonable compared to the others. Food was lovely can't fault it however the service was less than average.

A very nice restaurant with a decent if not too comprehensive menu. Food was very good for everyone so no complaints. Service was good but not overpowering. Plenty of choice on wine list and it was a bit pricy.Would definately return.

Our forst time at this particular Strada, but the food and service were excellent. I think they (Strada) could be a little more competitive on the pricing of their wine, but it did not detract ffrom what was a wonderful evening with firiends.

we found this restaurant the last day of our stay in London. the restaurant was just few steps far from our hotel and we decide to go there to eat something and we were impressed from exellent food and service.special thanks to Gianni (our waiter) who made us feel at home..we strongly recommend to try the desserts - all they are just wow

This is a contemporary Italian restaurant in central Chiswick. Although part of a chain, and with a fairly standard menu, there is a nice relaxed atmosphere and the staff were friendly. Tables near the door can be a little cold but there are tables to the back that are more cosy. It's a good place to go if you want to talk or catch up with friends as its not noisy, although sometimes there are mums with kids at mid week lunchtimes. The soup of the day was delicious with vegetables and beans. I then had the spaghetti ragu which was very tasty and a good size portion. My husband had the pollo Milanese that was well cooked It's reasonably priced.

This was close to our hotel and although a chain had good individual 'flavour' - food was excellent and service very friendly and helpful

simple stylish decor attentive staff ( the italian waitress with the long brown hair is stunning) fresh tasty food, good menu highly recommended, did i mention the gorgeous waitress?

Arrived on a Saturday evening. Although virtually empty were ignored by the staff who were to busy gabbling. Pizzas arrived luke warm and the whole meal was terrible value for money. Be warned NEVER go to a Strada on a Saturday night as the money off vouchers aren't accepted. Food and service not good enough to pay their full menu prices!

This is the second Strada I have been to and I do feel for a chain it is pretty good.The quality of food I had was good and the value excellent

Visited Strada on Saturday night, expecting the worse as is notorious of most chain restaurants and a busy night.I was totally surprised by the service of the staff and quality of food. Our table did not have to wait long to be served and drink flowed out as they were ordered.As we were off to the local comedy club were request our mains immediatly after our starters and were served that way with no problem.Would recommend a visit!

Visited Tuesday lunch, and it was a third full of customers ^ 2 serving staff so food must be allright? Wrong. Started with Aglio, which took 20 minutes to arrive. Main course took another 40 minutes. 2 Pizzas which were like crisps on the outside and chewy in the middle, Tegamaccio is seafood straight from the freezer, tasted bland & waterry. Bistecca Manzo, steak looked like it was steamed, not grilled. It was chewy and vegetables were either overcooked or again straight from freezer said my teenager.Desserts were nicely presented and of reasonable quality. Chocolate fondant were like cupcakes sizes with ice-cream, Bistecca Manzo was minute and lacked flavour. Other customers mostly have fish, so may be this was their best dish?

Strada, as a chain, had been recommended to us, so we were really pleased when we came across the Chiswick branch whilst away on business. Interestingly we didn't feel the external branding was as strong as some other well known restaurants nearby such as Zizzi and Pizza Express.The restaurant was not overly busy, about half full, when we arrived. We were greeted almost immediatly and seated. We accepted the seat offered behind the till, only realising later it wasn't a great seat as the phone rang constantly during, and therefore disturbing, our meal. As the restaurant wasn't at all full, offering a different seat would have been better.We were brought menus and were able to order drinks whilst we were given ample time to look through the menu. Our starters arrived and were delicious. I had the mushrooms and polenta which was piping hot, freshly cooked and tasty. There was a couple of mouthfuls where it was a little gritty but this didn't detract from the overall. My colleague had an italian bread which was also delicious. So far our experience had been good, however this was the point where the service started to go downhill. My starter plate was removed before my colleague had finished eating theirs. Our mains were then brought whilst my colleague was still eating her starter. The main courses were very good, although my lamb shank was warm rather than piping hot. One highlight was that when my colleague dropped her cutlery one of the waiters quickly and inobtrusively brought over a replacement. After eating our mains, we were having a discussion when the menus were suddenly thrust infront of our faces with a "desserts, coffee". Having had our conversation abruptly interrupted we were then left for ages, almost to the point of giving up before anyone asked if we wanted anything. Finally someone stopped clearing up around us enough to notice that we were waiting and we were able to order desserts. I am glad we did because my ice cream was delicious and my colleagues dessert was also great.We finished our desserts and again were left. No one checked if we had enjoyed our meal or wanted coffee or if we were ok. Even though we got up and got coats and bags we had to go and ask for the bill. A thank you was shouted over the shoulder of the waiter as he walked away and we left the restaurant.We really enjoyed our food, however some aspects of the service let the overall experience down. We ate in four restaurants that week and whilst the food at Strada was one of the best, the service was one of the worst, mainly because there was little real engagement and consideration for the customer and their experience. Improve this and Strada Chiswick could be great.

As chain restaurants go this one is not too bad. If only the service could be more coordinated and on the ball, based on our one experience on an early midweek evening dinner.

I have visited a couple of branches before and been very impressed by the service and quality of food, however this branch did not deliver. Mediocre service, tables looked worn, starters and mains brought out very quickly and we seemed rushed being made to order both at the start of or meal rather than being given time to eat our starter and then decided what we wanted for our mains, the main i ordered was not hot but warm and the plate was not warmed. The ice-cream I wanted was out of stock as well as the other flavour, in the end had to go for something else which was disappointing and too sweet, as well as my partner having to wait over 15 mins for his dessert as they had mixed up the order, his tiramisu tasted stale as if it had been in the freezer for too long, and was certainly not fresh! also overheard they were out of pomegranate juice thus not just 2 flavours of ice-cream, wonder what else was out of stock...overall disappointed by this visit and would not return or recommend.

Good food and friendly staff, plenty to choose from on the menu. good value for money.

It's a very popular place - we dined on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was very busy, but we were warmly greeted by the head waiter. The tables are a little too close together and at first, the levels of noise was grating and was very noticeable as service was slow.Our waiter was very helpful in advising on their dishes and we were both happy with our choices. The quality & presentation of the food was faultless - authentic and very enjoyable. Our only gripe was from sitting down to getting our starters took around 50 minutes! We noticed other diners were waiting a while for plates to be cleared away too, so it was frustrating watching waiters polishing glasses. Perhaps not the place for a meal if haven't got time for a leisurely meal, but the food shouldn't disappoint.

We have been to this Strada a few times, and enjoyed it. But this was a disaster! The Arancini starter arrived hot outside and cold inside. We sent it back and waited 15 minutes for the replacement. Our pizzas arrived while we were eating the starter. The waiter was impervious but took them away when we said we were not ready. After the starter was cleared, the manager brought the original pizza and asked if it would be ok. We tried it - it was dried out - it was probably waiting for us while we started the replacement starter :( We sent it back, much to the amusement of the waiting staff. At this stage we had had enough, and left. The manager was very nice and promised to contact us to arrange a free meal, though we were not interested. Needless to say we never heard from them...

With a one night stop over, hungry on a Friday night, I stumbled upon Strada. Loved the food. It was not that crowded, but there was enough diners that created a nice atmosphere. Service staff was attentive and friendly that they deserved the tip. Awesome wine selection.Strada is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, with a nice walk after-dinner walk. Great outdoor tables on a nice cool summer night.

In diesem gemütlichen Restaurant kann man gut einen London-Einkaufstag ausklingen lassen. In Nähe unseres Best Western Hotels serviert der aufmerksame Service Pizzen der Spitzenklasse, dünner Teig mit knusprigen Boden und pikantem Belag.Die Speckpizza ist besonders zu empfehlen!Eine Reservierung ist sehr zu empfehlen.

I haven't visited a Strada branch before, and went for a big family meal here. It is a busy place so we booked in advance and they seated us as soon as we arrived; the waitors were attentive and made us feel very welcome. We ordered starters, mains and desserts, all of which were excellent quality - the pizzas are wonderfully rustic and the other dishes were tasty and well presented. For dessert we had the hot chocolate fondant cake which was divine, especially with a coffee. It was a great meal out, made even better by the fact that we had been able to download vouchers from the internet for a buy one get one free deal!! Will visit a Strada again, very enjoyable.

Great authentic Italian food. Always busy, but easy to get a table without a reservation.

We paid for a 1 hour parking and weren't able to get brunch at Strada in that time. The staff were much too busy chatting at the back of the restaurant and drying crockery to serve the customers.
