Very clean and quick service excellent food

Generally good food and fast service Curry can be a bit gluppy...very thick Love there special rice

very small family business tucked away in a corner. the food came fast and was still piping hot. strong flavours and is very appetising. the customer service was amazing and the woman behind the counter was very friendly. hidden gem, will definitely be visiting again. drove quite a while to get to this place, would definitely reccomend to anyone that’s considering it.

My mother and I love it here. We’ve been looking forward to our treat ALL day but the online website isn’t working and it keeps saying that the ‘shop’ is closed (online shop) and you can’t pay via card over the phone. I think customers should have the option to pay by card for phone orders. This isn’t very good customer service to be fair. My mum and I are gutted!

Absolutely delicious food every time.

I never had a chow mien with a omelette added to the meal,very dull taste.

Lovely tofu dishes! Can be more expensive then other takeaway places and more costly if delivered but the food is good and delivered quickly. Having been a customer for a number of years, with only two incorrect orders being send, they dealt with these quickly and satisfactorily.

We always have our Chinese takeaway from Stoney lane .The food is always delicious and ready when we go to collect ..we have a mixture of dishes but our favourites are Satay chicken skewers and kungpo chicken .

This has to be the best Chinese takeaway in Walsall by a country mile. Plenty of meat and seafood in all dishes with a delicious taste. I wont be going anywhere else now.

Absolute joke ordered a much box this should of constanted of salt and spicy chicken balls 4 of 4 mini spring rolls chips salt and pepper chicken bites chargeing £10.50 it would just about enough fir my husband the 4 chicken balls were actually 2 cut in half shocking paid over £30 with rest of order will not be going back short changing you on food

Lovely food and a great choice of options to choose from too. Our whole family (myself, daughter and boyfriend) enjoy the food here and the price is very good too. When we had covid last year they were great for delivering our food and keeping at a distance when we opened the door. Despite having covid we could still fast how delicious the food was. We have ordered since covid too.

AVOID!! First time ordering. The order was very expensive compared to usual Chinese takeaway, over 33% more expensive! The food that was delivered was incredibly bland and you’d be forgiven for not realising you’re eating actual food. The BBQ, Sweet and sour, and curry sauce were so thick, they were more like a jam! Absolutely will not be ordering from this place again, and it is definitely not 4 star quality food. Avoid!

Just ate a superb takeaway from this place. My first visit and I can understand why people give it five stars. It has to be the best takeaway in Walsall and from now on will be my go to for Chinese food.

Well been using this place for over 2 years ,last few orders have been a little different in taste quite bland I stayed with it but last order I found three huge hairs in my chow mein ,lady's hair.The food all went in the bin.This place was always excellent but it really gave me the ick 🤢

First time ordering and will be the last. Overpriced for really poor quality food and tiny portions. The salt and chilli box contained 6 bitesized bits of under seasoned bland chicken. Wouldn’t waste your money!

First time trying here as my usual Chinese doesn’t open on a Saturday, absolutely amazing I will definitely be coming back, food was hot, portion sizes were incredible ended up sharing with my partner because I couldn’t finish it, 100% worth the price. Delivery driver was extremely patient and very polite,great customer service.

ALWAYS used these but just lately prices have shot up and quality dropped. Shame tbf but it is what it is. I always order over 40.00 of food to club and still get charged for delivery???!!!! M

Think they've changed hands, not as good as it used to be. Gave it another go. Food luke warm. I called telling them driver had parked outside our house. Didn't ring doorbell. Drove off. I called them and told them this. Assured me they were cooking food as we spoke. Nope. Luke warm and same car that drove off over 20 mins earlier. Won't be ordering again. Shame really.

Our usual go to for Chinese takeaway, but it’s reliable and the food quality is good and consistent. Extensive menu, as you would expect!

We have tried every chinese in walsall and this is definitely the best chinese. excellent customer service too and they have vegan options 🤩 we ordered tofu, mixed vegetable rice and salt and pepper chips and duck spring rolls. food was delicious and fresh we will definitely order again. thank you 💯

The consistency of this place is just fab. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. The food is always ready when I go to collect there’s no waiting around. They’re so attentive to customers needs. Been ordering every week for four years and I will never order from anywhere else again. Normally some restaurants have meals that are hit and miss. Not here, we often change our order and everything we’ve tried tastes amazing. Shop is always spotless and they have a 5 star hygiene rating. Cannot beat the place honestly.

Always the place to go to, food doesn't taste bland like other places need a card machine though it's a nightmare if you haven't got the cash you can order online but cost a lot more than going direct

Really poor now, never used to be this bad. Curry sauce is bland and putrid. Chips are seldom cooked through. Try church street Bloxwich, much better 👍

Not for the first time we have waited over two hours for food, this time to be told that it has been delivered to the wrong address.

This Chinese takeaway is the best I had so far, highly recommended, food has good taste and not cold when reach to delivery home, food is pipping hot, if I could score a restaurant more than 5 stars I would give this at least 10 stars this takeaway is definitely the best I had so far and will be staying with them if I need a takeaway again HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Iv used this place for years , now they have a snotty cow on the phone (not Stacy she’s lovely) waited over a hour for food then called them she had attitude and told me food would be 10 min I said cancel my order she then said it’s on way so I refused food at the door , the food is great the thing that took my call is rude and has a serious attitude problem!!

Used this takeaway as regular one was closed. Very disappointed....hubby always has sweet n sour chicken but this was awful...tiny bits of chicken and all coating....fried rice was so dark and smothered in soy sauce....and at £28 for the two meals..it was very expensive compared to our regular place in Willenhall whose food is cheaper and 100% better. Should have phoned them and asked for refund....never using this place again.

Food could be better try some where else

I ordered chicken with green pepper and black bean sauce and it was full of onions and no green peppers, disappointed to be honest, I'll try somewhere else in future

Usually a very fast delivery, it's rare that we have waited more than 25 minutes for our order. The food is tasty and they have a nice Tofu selection but it is a little on the expensive side (hence the 4/5 stars).

Huge Price Hike! New menu prices compared to the old one: 1/4 Crispy duck: 70p extra. Seaweed: 60p extra. Special chow mein: 50p extra. S&S chicken balls: 60p extra. Special curry: 80p extra. S&P chips: 50p extra. Spare ribs: £1 extra. Those are just a few of the most popular orders. The food & service are good, but they don't justify the huge price increase. They will lose a lot of regular customers including me.

Best chinese in the area... always normally order from here however tried something different the order day and ordered for 'Double luck' in willenhall it was the worst chinese ever full of salt and put me off chinese however this place reminded me how good chinese should actually taste hot fresh& tasty

This has to be the worst Takeaway I've ever had. The food was tasteless and bland. No taste at all to the Special Curry, The Crispy Beef was horrendous, it was like eating pieces of string. The Chips were horrible. There was nothing about this meal that was any good at all. Disappointed!

In the 5 years I have been going to Stoney Lane I have never received bad service or a bad meal. When management made a mistake on one of my orders, the next time I went I recieved a free meal.

Used this for a number of years. Fresh hot when delivered and beautiful food. Reccomend beef in black bean Won ton House special rice Crispy duck and the combination starter.

Have had multiple takeaways from here and always great. Particularly enjoy the set meals. Great food and great staff! could not recommended highly enough!!

Thai Green Curry. For the Win.

Never had a problem before meal always hot and tasty, but tonight was exceptional couple of items missing from ordered meal, quick phone call, rectified within minutes brilliant customer service and meal was at its best.

We've used stoney lane Chinese for years. We started using them whilst living on the Turnberry Estate. We moved to Essington in 2015, but still use SLC as we rate the food so highly. We have tried other take aways, but always end up going back. The food is great and reasonably priced. Service is swift and polite.

We have takeaways from here quite a lot and must say never had a bad meal, lovely food and staff are lovely if some thing isn't on the menu they will happily try and accommodate.

Have been a regular customer for a few years. Until the delivery driver short changed my 8year old daughter £10 and the owner of the Chinese didn't care less. Infact he tried to blame my daughter. Will never use again !

Just had a plate of the best Chinese food I’ve had in 10+ years. I had the 2 in 1 special, beef and peppers in a black bean sauce with noodles. The peppers were fresh and the beef was tender. 5 Star

I really cannot fault the food from here. It’s perfect. Cooked really well and never overly salty. It is a place I can’t recommend enough. The prices are good, food cooked quickly and always fresh and hot.

Best Chinese around never dissatisfied and will change menu to suit your taste

Decided to try this chinese as my local one has become shockingly bad. Me and my bf split chips, egg friend rice, sweet and sour chicken balls. (He had curry sauce) This was absolutely perfect. No joke. Cooked perfectly and so tasty. Very impressed. Came 50mins after ordering (Im in new invention)

We have been using this place for 12 years. The food is beyond good but there prices keep increasing and increasing. On top off this they have reduced the amount of meat in the dishes even after price hikes. For example, we loved the there combination starter, but they have changed it and cheapened the content and then put the price up. A price increase is fine and we are happy to pay extra for such nice food, Increase your prices or reduce meat content, doing both is not good. If you have used this take away for as long as we have, you will know what I'm talking about. Stoney Lane you are going to put your self out of business. As much as we love this place, sadly the economics they have adopted has made us look else where after 12 years.
