Arrived early and was greeted and lead to our table the food was delicious the staff was fabulous and the surroundings are amazing excellent and very reasonable priced will make it one of my favourites

The food at Stocco is always good, it never fails on quality. Always look forward to going, even if it is popping in for pizza and wine before the cinema. A lovely Italian restaurant in Oldham, I think better than some of the hyped up ones in Manchester.

I never leave reviews but after visiting Stocco for the first time with my partner I gluelike I had to. The food is amazing. Staff really friendly and attentive. Couldn’t fault any of it. Will definitely be going back!

My wife and I went to celebrate our Silver Wedding. It was our first time at Stocco and we were very impressed. The staff were friendly and attentive. Service was excellent as was the food. By accident we were in the Oldham area and were starved. Cold called and had the most wonderful experience. Brilliant service great food and a wonderful atmosphere for a Saturday evening. All in all a really great time.

My wife and I made our first visit here for my birthday and glad that we did. Over the years we've been fortunate enough to eat enough pasta to fill the Colloseum but I have to say that this was one of the best. My lasagne was delicious, lots of quality tomato sauce and not too much bechamel as is often the case. Red hot and nice and crispy on top with plenty of meat and full of flavour. Nice digestible pasta layers. My wife had the wild boar Ragu with linguine, lovely linguine with pieces of meat and very nice sauce. Friendly service and quite quick considering it was Christmas and it was busy with parties. Valpolicella wine a bit pricy ( all Italian restaurants seem to be top whack on wines ) and should have been a classico as it said on the menu but suspect it wasn't because that is always on the label, however still very nice and went down well. No problems to recommend for quality pasta and we will definitely return Eddie and Christine McAlpine

Visited Stocco for a pre-theatre meal. My starter was bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and basil - delish ! Whilst my son had calamari. Mains consisted of handmade tortellini and a delightful and lush lasagna completed with a delightful red. Highly recommended with exemplary customer service.

The food was lovely but felt very rushed between courses. I understand under the current climate they want as many customers in as they can but they need to let customers have a relaxed meal out.

We went to Stocco to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were welcomed when we arrived and taken to our table. It was good to see that there the restaurant was quite full. Always a good sign. This was our first time to Stocco and it definitely will not be the last. It was,very busy when we arrived but social distancing was adhered to. We,did not wait long and were kept up,to date with what was happening. The menus are written very small so this could be an issue for some. The food was amazing. Staff were great. We loved it.

Whilst the restaurant is lovely inside, the food and service do not live up to the nice surroundings. Food was very average and I felt the pasta was not fresh and out of a packet. The service was slow and the staff were rude. After complaining about the pasta the staff still left our plates in-front of us for 15 minutes and didn’t come back over to discuss the complaint till we left!!

Dined here for my mum's birthday. The food is to die and is presented beautifully. The staff made us feel at ease at this most stressful time. The atmosphere was great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks to everyone at Stoccos for making our evening an enjoyable one.

In these testing times, what a great evening we had, felt safe fantastic food & service brilliant TVM

Our sons love this restaurant and encouraged us to give it a try for our anniversary. Food was fantastic, king prawns & calamari to start, lobster ravioli & salmon for mains & tiramisu & chocolate fondant for desserts. My only disappointments were that although my husband mentioned on the booking it was our wedding anniversary we didn't at any point get a 'happy anniversary' comment, and after removing our finished desserts we were left sitting with empty glasses for over half an hour without anyone coming back to us at any point, until we eventually gave up and decided to go and ask for the bill .... shame as the food was lovely!!

Booked a table for myself and my wife. We had a excellent meal, served promptly, nice and hot and well presented. Staff are very friendly. I had Sardinia fish stew, very filling, piping hot, well presented, my wife had lamb shank again very filling both excellent dishes.

Great takeaway ordered in afternoon delivered as requested excellent pizza, really recommend the tiramisu nice treat. Hope we can go back to restaurant when covid pandemic is over.

This was a special occasion with friends and a very special restaurant that delivered a beautiful evening. I had the calamari to start and the sea bass with prawn saffron risotto. The sea bass was amazing and would highly recommend.

As always, we enjoyed yet another family meal at Stocco this Sunday evening, where the reception, service and food was excellent. Three generations of appetites were met with ease, from the youthful pizza to the mature smaller portions of lasagne.The Tofiette pasta with seafood in a buttery sauce with garlic and chilli and cherry tomatoes was excellent. The tagliatelle with wild boar ragu was up to its usual high standard. We have been in Stocco at different times of the day, on different days of the week and you can rely on a friendly greeting, excellent service and an excellent range of meals whether established Italian favourites or varied specials.Thank you again to everyone at Stocco.

Had a fantastic meal for two in Stocco, great choice of Italian food on the menu, well cooked and very tasty, the Tiramisu desert was sensational. All this with great service at a reasonable price. Well worth a try.

Top service clean pleasant staff and good tasty food not too long a wait for a table as we didn’t book but it was busy

My starters at stocco werent the best i had the king prawns which werent really the best they were just average as the sause was just like a bland tomato sauce. The drinks were decently price at £2 for most soft drinks i believe so thats again average. Then i got my main corse which was fillet steak. The sause that stocco makes for the steak that i had was red wine sause and it needs an improvement. The sause is very bland which is the same with the sause of the prawns. If the sause is improved then i would give a 4 star to stocco. I have gave a three star as the sause was bland and there isnt any entertainment. I hope someone form stocco sees this review to improve whats wrong thanks for reading.

Booked a table for 16. Service was first class. Food was excellent and plentiful. Not overly expensive either. Lovely decor. I used to love this place when it was Mario’s, but this is a huge upgrade. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. Recommended.

Have visited this lovely restaurant several times in family groups and as a couple. The welcome from the manager Ben and all the staff is always warm and friendly. The restaurant itself is elegant and has a a warm vibrant atmosphere. Most importantly,the variety and standard of the food is excellent. This restaurant is comparable to any top class restaurant anywhere

Went there tonight for a meal with the family. Ordered lobster ravioli - how very very disappointing this was. The pasta was thick and chewy, hardly any filling inside with very little taste and the sauce had no flavour whatsoever, was like the pasta water. For the price I expected a lot better and have made better myself. Will definitely not be going back.

Three generations of our family had a pre Theatre meal here and everyone enjoyed what they had. The service was very friendly and helpful. In my view this is by far the best restaurant in Oldham town centre.

We ate at Stocco on the afternoon of Saturday 9 November to celebrate my mums birthday.

Nice greeting upon arrival, pleasent atmosphere, along with very good service, the food is of a very high standard, one of my favourit main dishes is the Seabass, along with the Fillet Steak, cooked to perfection.

We have visited stocco many times which is always good, nice ambience, lovely food with great menu choices prices are very reasonably priced, visited late September I had the seabass which was delicious, the others in our group had steak or pasta all very nice, the restaurant was full but the staff were lovely and attentive.
