Sunday brunch, Avocado and poached eggs on Sourdough toast with added chorizo. Bellisimo!

Visited for breakfast for the first time. We had the full English breakfast, and it was not good . Firstly, the fried egg was overcooked with no yoke. The hash Brown's were soaking in grease, the tomato was rock hard and not cooked , there were the tiniest amount of beans ever, the sourdough didn't come with butter so had to ask when it came it was solid , the mushrooms are very herby ... not good on a breakfast, didn't eat the black pudding ( not keen) , bacon very, very salty. Left nearly all of it, mentioned to the server who apologised, but that was it. Waste of money will not return.

Went for a birthday meal today. Food was poor, only a couple of pieces of meat. Potatoes were hard and no draft lagers. Only one option of dessert. Queen greatest hits blasting in the background. Wish we would have gone somewhere else. Went year ago and it was lovely, standards have dropped massively. 2/10.

My husband and I have been to Vicino, for Sunday lunch, a few times and can honestly say that the food is delicious. How they manage such a feast for such a reasonable price is amazing. The young waiter, Jack, was really friendly and attentive. Always a delightful experience.

Choice of 2 meats for Sunday lunch. They had run out of mash. 3 tiny pots of cauliflower cheese and 1 portion of broccoli with 4 slices of carrots between 4 of us. Not impressed, over priced for what you get.

We went for breakfast for the first time, the big breakfast ,was,absolutely excellent and the service provided by Hasan was a delight , wonderful service , a special mention to the chef Michael ,if you want great food , at a very good price and great service then we highly recommend this establishment, thank you we will be back ,

Shocking lack of customer service, we booked a table for3 for 11-30 at 10-00 we phoned to add 2 extra people on which they said yes no problem, arrived at 11-30 to be told no table available, maybe we could fit you in in an hour ? .No apology no interest .A birthday brunch ruined thank you Vincino for being a total disappointment.

I'm not usually a Sunday roast kind of guy, but this place is unreal. The Sunday roast is beautiful, each item on the plate just bursts with flavours. The staff are very nice and nothing is to much trouble. Worth every penny, you won't be disappointed.

The service the food was amazing cauliflower cheese was to dye for but this spiked into all insignificance when the service was absolutely amazing always chatting as and served with a smile will definitely be back

What a fantastic little place! We were served tonight by one of the most polite and friendly waiters ever! Such a nice young man. He really helped cater for my fussy little girl and we had a really enjoyable experience! Food is amazing! Well done to the chef!!

Always guaranteed meals with a difference. A regular changing menu that is based on available produce, then Tony the chef (or is it his wife Adele haha) works his culinary magic with the products and makes meals of top quality, amazing flavour and freshness. Again last night the team performed their magic as we had: Home made Bread, olives, mussel's in a cream wine sauce, whitebait with alioli, penne Pasta with nduja, spaghetti in a chilli tomato sauce, lamb meatballs in a herby tomato sauce, cod in a smoked fish sauce with lumpfish caviar. Small chorizo bites in a honey rosemary sauce, chargrilled padron peppers in rikc slat and ground black pepper, Chargrilled broccoli in anchovy and garlic sauce. But there was so much more in the menu we could have tried but our bellies were not big enough. Rabbit loin and devilled chicken livers to name a few. 3 plates for £18 is true value for money taste sensations. See you again soon.

I will not be rushing back! Service was good. The food was awful, apart from the meatballs. I don’t know what was supposed to be on the bruschetta but it just looked like a large, burnt, brown mess! The pasta with chicken looked awful. My friend and I left the food. We paid, left our food and wine and went elsewhere to eat! I wondered why the kitchen staff kept looking at us, must have seen our reaction.

Been here quite a few times now and every time the food has been amazing. Love the quaintness of the place and yes sometimes the staff are busy but always helpful and polite, but ultimately it’s about the food and this food is always fresh, flavourful and authentic. Love it !

Great but it’s never open when it says it is on the website, we went at half 12 on a Saturday and the shutters were down, always have to call to make sure it’s actually open before going

We arrive for Sunday lunch at 6pm. Placed is open until 9pm. Overall the Sunday lunch was okay! Gravy had to be returned 3 times cold. & we opted for the beef slightly tough & knifes on the table were useless. Lamb was not available either. Waitress cleaned table & decided to advise us that they did have steak knives on finishing the meal. Very strange indeed. We decided to have a sweet. 3 item were not available. And requested a coffee with my dessert but was informed coffee machine at 7pm was being cleaned so NO Coffee available. Which is pretty poor to be honest. If I had know that before I ordered a dessert. Dessert arrive & it very good. I think we may return again. But earlier in the day.

AMAZING cicchetti! Small, authentic dishes cooked fresh and served when ready. Honestly can’t fault Vicino for the food & the service…can’t believe this place isn’t packed out mid-week…it’s sooo good! You’d be hard pressed to find dishes this good in city centre Manchester. (Sunday lunch to die for too!). Thank you Vicino! 😊

No need to book a flight to enjoy tasty tapas when you can find them in Royton ! And served with a warm welcome from their staff . Can't leave without also praising the chef who turned out 5 very tasty tapas for myself and husband to enjoy ...100/100. We will certainly be back xx

Fabulous little cafe/restaurant. The baked eggs are delicious, I will definitely be going back to try out other things on the menu.

Thought it would be a good start to our holiday after waiting 1 hour for food we walked out!

This is the place Royton needed.

Had take away breakfast, Cappuccinoino and sausage/egg muffin. Food was ok, but £5 is pricey for a basic takeaway breakfast sandwich. Coffee was really burnt and bitter however. The staff were really nice and the atmosphere inside was too. Chalk it up to bad luck.

A lovely place - the food tasted wonderful and was really well presented. A fantastic choice of meals on the menu and great value for money. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, and the decor was really nice too. I was very impressed and will be coming again soon!

We went for Sunday lunch. The food was fantastic however we weren’t given a menu and so there were told the only things we could eat was a beef dinner or turkey. The food came quickly and was good however when we got the bill we found out a roast dinner was £17.50!!!!! The food was good but so so over priced! It would have been cheaper in central manchester. The fact we never saw a menu meant we were deceived as 17.50 for a Sunday lunch is clearly expensive!

I have visited Vicino for evening dining, Sunday lunch and today breakfast. On every occasion the food has been fantastic, service friendly and the atmosphere pleasant and relaxed. Moreover, the prices represent great value. I would recommend them most highly and without caveat. Looking in my diary to see when I can schedule another visit already.

Hi I visited last night and was left bitterly disappointed. I had a bottle of wine accidentally threw over me to which the young lad could not have apologised enough I even made the effort to go downstairs and ensure he was ok and not worried as accidents happen. I have since washed my jeans and the lovely bottle of red wine has stained them excellent something I have to now replace at my cost. So we ordered food. The garlic bread arrived fine and shortly after the meatballs came (about 15 mins before the other food) so they were sent back to be reheated in the microwave. Finally after partly drying off our food arrived still in a very disjointed manner however we then found hair in our pizza. Not just one pizza but both of them. This visit has just gone from bad to worse. Even more so when your waiter advised that you had a new chef who had long hair..... yes accidents happen but where’s your hair net if you have long hair. Absolutely poor service all round and as a usual advocate for your business I have started to question if I will come back to your restaurant(s)!

Recently visited Vicino for the first time and I’ll definitely return. I was looking forward to trying their Italian Cicchetti but it’s only served in the evening from 5pm so we tried their breakfast menu and was pleased we did. Some classics on there but some alternative dishes too which was a lovely surprise. I tried the Smashed avocado with mushrooms and halloumi and it was outstanding! The chef even brought a second poached egg out after a few mins as he recognised that my egg was slightly overdone. For a chef to do that when a customer hasn’t even complained is fantastic service....molto bene!! Deco was nice and relaxed, waitress needs a little more training but I can’t wait to go back and try the evening menu. Great job guys!

I've eaten here frequently over the last year and have never been disappointed by the taste and quality of the food.The chef is a genius. He puts his heart and soul into each dish and it shows. A recent change of menu has given me some new dishes to try but don't be afraid to shout up and ask what else he can do. He's very creative!On the new menu, the arancini is beautiful: delicate rice balls with woodland mushrooms. The lamb meatballs with mint are incredible, served with a spicy tomato sauce. TSpag Bol fritters are very inventive! The cheesy garlic bread is the best ever! And the chef makes his own sourdough bread fresh each day so don't miss that either.There is always the danger of ordering too much. I find that 3 dishes between 2 of us does the trick, but it takes a while to narrow it down as everything sounds so good.

We've just been here at Vicino for Sunday lunch. We both had the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and various vegetables and potatoes that all come in individual serving pots to share. What an amazing meal. Loved it. Thank you x

Visited for drinks and Tapas wasn’t disappointed. Excellent atmosphere and tasteful decor. Choose 4 tapas 3 from the specials board and 1 off the menu. The food arrived hot and every dish was excellent and very tasty. All the staff were very courteous and pleasant. Took the advice of paddy ( waiter) and ordered what he recommended (was not disappointed). The total bill for 4 tapas 2 glasses of Peroni and 2 glasses of wine was £41.50 was well worth the visit either for just a drink or to eat. Left there adequately feed and watered. Overall a good start to the evening.

We had such a lovely night here. Welcomed by attentive staff. Great atmosphere. Most importantly the food was perfectly presented and tasted even better than it looked. A restaurant where all the staff seem to care and contribute to its high standard of customer experience.

Visited Vicino on Friday with my friend. We both ordered the avocado with poached egg, garlic mushrooms and halloumi. I literally cannot fault anything. The food was outstanding, service was amazing as always and the atmosphere is so inviting. Loved loved loved it! The new chef let us sample the homemade hash browns which were out of this world. We also got homemade lemon biscotti with our teas. Just fantastic! Going again in 2 weeks! Can’t wait

Really like this place for breakfast or brunch. the whole family went yesterday and it let itself down. We were a group of 8 and the first to arrive. Our order got mixed up so people arrived after us were served. They were short staffed which I get.. it is a small business.. but we are very loyal family and go to Mazzo's a lot and would like to return as when the food arrived it was good. One breakfast was missed out which was annoying. The poor guy trying to do all the orders and serving was lovely and that is why we will go back. Just needs to get a few glitches sorted.

Having seen the great breakfast photos on Instagram I was really looking forward to visiting. I was disappointed. Ordered the full breakfast which took over 40 minutes to arrive. When it did arrive it was luke warm. The one saving grace was the delicious beans.

For the past few years, Mazzo has confirmed itself (in my opinion) as the best restaurant in Royton. Now the owners have opened up this little bar just over the road to provide a more casual place for drinks and small plates.

I went to Vicino with friends and I couldn’t have been more pleased with it. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the cocktails are the best I have had outside of Manchester. This bar is a credit to Royton

Was looking forward to trying this place , as I think Royton is up and coming with new places. But was left disappointed with the quality and time it took to Serve. I waited a good 1 hour for breakfast after ordering and then they forgot one order and obviously had to make it when serving. Hopefully in time it will get better. But not so happy at the moment.

A lovley family run cafe/bar, however disappointingly expensive. This is royton and £28 for 2 gins and too cocktails is ridiculous.
