Halal sausage does not taste good. Tasteless unedable has like very soft odd texture

large cod costing £10.00 was not much bigger than battered sausages

Disappointed in the saveloy, no flavour and ridiculously soft as if it was water logged

A very tasty piece of fish and the chips were good too

It was bearly warm because it was 20 mins late.They did adjust the delivery time. my plaice was so watery and the batter was like soggy bread. So disappointed, normally I'm really happy with their food.

Stobys used to be award winning, tonight was perhaps the worst fish and chips shop meal we have ever had.

Every Friday me and my family member go to Stoby's for Lunch. Serving staff including the owner Mr DG go out of their way to provide excellent service. We have to wait 10 mins for our fish and chips and its worth it because it is the best fish and chips in Town.

The gherkins were Not fresh they were soft and didn’t taste good the mushy peas were hard , the batter on the fish was stuck to the paper .

The chips were not cooked through they were hard only a few eaten. We have had no problems before bit disappointed.

Great fish and chips - exceptional chips, not greasy and fish was also excellent. Thrilled with the choice made being unfamiliar with the area. Huge portion sizes too!

Food took and hour to come, The cries and fish were all mushed together in paper, the burger didnt have the sauces i selected

portion sizes have halved but prices still gone up. the batter on the fish was wet, so clearly not cooked long enough and my large done kebab was literally the same size as my friends medium one which she had bought from you!! you use to be really good but enough is enough, won't be coming back

saveloy was not eaten!! it tasted off!!! fish was lovely.

ordered chips and MEDIUM COD but got a small COD. both the chips and fish were nice and no issues with taste and presentation. my friend wanted a Donar kebab it was inedible. it wasn't white soft pitta but dark brown thick pitta which I think was WHEATMEAL or STONEGROUND. we wernt given the option and dislike this bread. what made it worse was it was drenched in strong chilli seeds resembling lazy chilli not a smooth sauce. the aroma was dreadful 😫 my friend had a chip buttie instead.

delivery drivers need to read the additional comments as they constantly go to the wrong house.

Doner was hot and fresh! really tasty! chips were hot and fresh! chicken burger was really tasty! always will recommend Stobies!

Really nice fish and chips. Everything was piping hot. Kebab was great as well. Delivery was 15 minutes early which was brilliant because we were all very hungry.

Food was really nice as usual. Delivery was a bit slow though. Everything still arrived hot.

Stoby's have provided good food, great service and reliable delivery to the Aktiveyes group throughout a number of locations in Slough. They have delivered on time and the quality of the food has been greatly enjoyed.

Fish and chips were lovely and piping hot, but the "large" donner kebab on chips wasn't good value at all. The box was basically mostly chips with a much smaller than usual portion of kebab meat.

We normally love Stobys but on this occasion food was delivered cold, had to be reheated in oven and didn't taste good. Disappointing Mother's Day dinner 😒

iv had kebabs twice now with chips so nice portions massive meat soft and fresh can't believe a chip shop got it right unlike some of these kebab places well done 10/10

Donner meat wasn't as nice as it usually is, not much flavour and loads of bits of bone which hurt my teeth when I bit down on them. Salad was lacking, it was fresh, just not much of it and NO tomatoes as per usual. If they don't want to use them they should take them off the salad options. Food was delivered on time, but not very hot, only warm.

There was no update about my order even though I kept checking 'track order'. It wouldn't show 'out for delivery' at all. A little disappointing. Tried phoning the shop but my call wasn't answered.

Pooor quality of fish we have ever had so far Fish coating is so bland and no crunch to it ..it’s just the gram flour..ordered masala fish and there is no masala in there..honestly we used to love the fish from stoby’s at Farnham road but from now it’s the last time we ordered..on our recommendation fronds used to come from all over places to eat here specially but will never recommend it now..with this quality and taste of food is minting money and the store should no longer be open..

Food was good, fresh and delivered on time - however portion sizes compared to the prices charged is ridiculous, especially the fish and chips. Not worth revisiting for £30+ for two - better off going to a restaurant.

Not as good as previous orders, fish was very small and batter was soggy,previously batter was crispy and fish a goodsize,up side sausage n batter was VERY GOOD and onion rings "awsome"

Waited 10 minutes as they were frying chips came home open the bag the chips were mixed hot and cold.

Food is always good from here with generous portion sizes. Delivery took too long this time though with over 1.5 hrs to get delivered.

Food was lovely, good portions and decent price. The wait for delivery was acceptable. Will definitely order again.

fish was cooked perfect chips were lovely just a bit to much for one or even two people maybe smaller amount if chips per person a small serving unless request a larger amount but was pefectly cooked

Nice piping hot fish and chips. Lovely big pieces of cod and great portions of chips too. Delivery was on time as well.

I have used your shop for many years now but this is the last time I will be using them. The fish and chips were so cold I had to reheat them in the microwave I do not know when they were made up but it must have been along time before delivery

Stobys Fish N Chips have been going for years a lot of people use to say the best in slough theres a lot more take a ways now but I think they could still be one of the best ? the price is one of the best I've seen we had cod and chips med box was just right for us I give it 10/10 FOR FOOD AND SERVICE

Nice and hot food again from Stobys. Everything was delivered on time from a nice guy. Seriously though guys, where on Earth are the tomatoes? I never get any when I ask for them! I get some shreds of lettuce, a few quarter slices of cucumber and a couple of slivers of red onion!!! If you don't want to give people any tomatoes, take them off the choices list so we aren't constantly disappointed.

Large fish and chips box was great, mushy peas were terrible, very watery and practically no flavour. Battered sausages were nice as usual. Food was delivered piping hot and on time.

Forgot the kids sausages in the kids meals. Waited over an hour for the food and it’s missing items. Not happy

Usually really good, and I am a regular. However today was just terrible. I ordered a large cod, but it was the small/medium sized one (I know because I usually order medium one). Not only the size of it, it was so cold, and full of batter. The chips was also super cold and the sausage. So clearly it was left a while before being delivered. Was not happy at all this time round which was a shame as usually I recommend them to everyone.

Food was great, nice size, but delivery driver put me off, was too busy trying to look in to my property with my kids also in then pay attention to what he was doing, even when I tried closing the door as much as I can behind me. He was very obvious you doing this and he’s put me on off big-time.

Super tasty, fast delivery and piping hot food yet again from Stoby's. Tomato was missing from the salad, but it was still great.

Plenty of chips in family portion and tasty. Saveloy wasn’t very nice, was too hard, tasted liked it had been heated up all day.

Haven't used in awhile so I thought I'd give it another go. Standard has defo gone up since I last ordered. The doner meat and chips was excellent but I wish they use the bigger white box like they used to except on charging the same for a smaller box so less food. Other than that there were no complaints

Called restaurant to find out where delivery was as it was estimated to be between 17:30-17:50. It arrived 18:20. Person answered the phone and said he didn’t know where the driver was and that traffic was bad as is the weather. Delivery driver was on a moped! They can usually weave in and out of traffic. Food was cold on arrival. Won’t be ordering again in a hurry, or I’ll check the weather 1st!

Was not clear it was collection and not delivery. Attempted to collect but no parking spaces.

Definitely wouldn’t call that a kebab so called whole meal pitta with dried up meat and burnt/ salad was next to nothing no tomatoes soggy cucumber not great!!

Food was lovely, but the only problem was when you removed the bit of paper from the fish the batter came off as well

Food arrived cold. The cod was the smallest piece I have ever seen not sure what happend to Stobys. Would not recommend. Used to be briliant fish.

Food wasn't hot and waited over an hour

The first cod hadn't been cooked properly and the batter was still wet. Had to call up and offered a replacement. Arrived quickly but the batter was still not fully cooked. The wifes plaice was cooked perfectly. Will seriously consider if we ever buy from Stoby's again.

The meat on all 3 was not cooked properly it was very pale and we all have been up all night!!

Missing two souces, no large in donner box , they gave medium instead, i was a long time client , and its over

I think this is the best fish and chips i ever had. Kebab was amazing and calamai legendary. 1000+ approved from me. Thanks for amazing dinner. Keep doing that standard please!!!!!

We used to use Stoby's very regularly and were always happy with the food etc. Recently the prices have increased which we completely understand. However the last few times we have ordered the portion sizes have reduced quite a lot. On the last occasion the £8.50 kebab was about a 1\3 of the size it used to be. Unfortunately we are likely not to order again.
