Cheeky Chicken in Slough

Had a short break so ordered from chunkys, after 15 minutes they refused order. Didn’t have time to order from anyone else

They were smoking in the back, the chicken tasted raw and it was red, I even had a stomach-ache for 2 days after it. Do not listen to the good reviews, the food is very bad and I don't recommend it, there was black stuff on the bricks inside and the smell was awful.

We ordered the veg and non veg pizza and the crust was very soft

Order expected 1945, no update on delivery Called at 1950 for update, Ower had no idea where the driver was, called back 5 mins later saying he was 5 mins away. 15 mins later still no deliver and told he 3 mins. Again not arrived, called up spoke to owner again who was very abrupt when asked where the driver was and that I have now called 3 times. His response was 'bought the shop 4 days ago and I will cancel your order if you keep hasling me' At this point he update uber saying I cancel. So If you ask for a expected delivery time as it was 45mins after expected time he will cancel. Would recommend not to use this company unless you like you time wasted and money

Fried chicken strips are chewy and unedible, this shouldn't be sold. Please correct your recipe and cook chicken correctly before selling to the public.

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered at just gone 12am , food didn’t come until 1.50am. Delivery driver told me to come down to collect as he couldn’t find where I was so then I went down and it turns out he was at the front door 15 minuets later. My boyfriend opened the pizza, it was stuck to the top of the box and the cheese was just peeling off the pizza when you touched it and it was stone cold , I ordered a chicken fillet burger meal, it was spicy, I took one bite and couldn’t eat it, the chips where freezing cold, the cheesy chips..well more like 3 bits of grated cheese on the lot of the chips!! The drinks were flat. Called up the shop to talk to them and ask for a refund she said “we can deliver you a pizza in the morning”. Then said to call back the next day to talk to the manager. Been calling since 11.30 it is now 13.30 and still no answer from the restaurant. Also my boyfriend has woken up this morning being sick absolutely everywhere. Absolutely appalling!! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Bought a pizza, tasted very strange and doughy, after checking the base is half cooked. Its disgusting to sell half cooked food. Vegetable very crunchy and not at all good. Such poor quality

Terrible service, I called few times to ask for an update on my order and every time the answer was that I will receive my order in 5 - 10min, after over 1h of waiting. Don't waste your time

Actually the worst service from this shop.have to wait for 15 min to get ready ,use to I was working in thy type shop,so I know how it works serve the costumer quick as possible but this place never does. Meals are not ready. Would not recommend for any people

I wouldn't bother ordering from this place Food took one hour and 35 minutes to arrive... I was waiting outside in the cold for 40 minutes of that Waited for 55 minutes for my food to arrived then called the shop and they told me it was on its way (17:50) They told me he was stuck in traffic and would be with me in 5 or 10 minutes.... Time passed so I called again (18:25) While on the phone my delivery arrived and the driver told me he didn't start work until (18:00)... So the shop had lied to me.. Sat down to eat my food after waiting for an hour and 40 minutes nrarly and It was cold... Really cold.... Called the shop to ask for a refund and they blatantly refused

My meal left much to be desired... the jalapeno cheese bites looked like a hatching T-rex egg, the naan bread was severely lacking softness and tasted a bit like nothing, however the chicken was just about palatable which is the only reason why I didnt give this 1 star.

I would say 2 hours late, but I gave up at 2 hours waiting. Order never came. DO NOT order from here!

Ordered at 7.15PM, ETA 7.50PM - 8.10PM. Called at 8.20PM asking for the food and they said the driver is 5-10 minutes away. Called again at 8.35PM and the driver still 5-10 minutes away. Called once more at 8.50PM, but the driver had delivered the food already. Well, I guess I wouldn't be calling in that case, right? This last and third call was 15 minutes long, in which I was ignored around 10-12 minutes because the person who took the phone was taking more calls and orders while he told me to wait. After shouting "hello?!" on numerous occasions over the phone, the guy told me that apparently there had been a connection problem and they never got our order. Even though they were the ones confirming the name and order with me, excuse me? Good thing they accepted to give me a refund, hopefully I get it quicker than this issue got "resolved".

Every time that I have ordered from him here, they have lied and taken so long for a small order. Yes you can run late sometimes but these lot take it to a whole new level. Final time I'll buy food from here, not a good service at all. I don't wish no bad on anyone but honestly such a bad bad service. Got a lot of fixing up to do. Food is food but there are other places to eat so no more Cheeky Chicken!

Such a pathetic delivery service. Took 2 hrs for a short and small delivery , no response even if we call the restaurant. Please don't waste your time by ordering form this place. Missing items in the order and bad food quality.

No stars. Dont waste your time. 2 hours for an order which never came. 1. At 23.53 we made an order on Just Eat - no order details. When we called to ask where the order was at the time of suggested delivery they said 15 minutes. (00.55) 2. At 01.10am, an hour and 20 after the order was made they sent a text saying it would be there at 1.20am. 3. At 1.20am still no food. At 1.27am they called to say it was 5 minutes away, begrudgingly we said okay. 4. At 1.40am they said we had cancelled the order, no food coming.

The food came over an hour late and even then the Whole order was wrong. Rang them up to sort it and they couldnt do anything, so had to call uber eats

Awaiting my order going on past 2 hours late. What a let down this company is.

First and last time I order, Waited over a hour and half for food to come. Forgot to send chips no apology and the food was cold. No customer service skills at all.

I ordered a lamb donner, they accepted it on the app even gave me a delayed arrival time so I thought oh must be busy. They told me an hour after that they had no lamb. Absolutely ridiculous what a waste of time.

Order arrived cold. Took 2 hours for the food to arrive after ordering through Just Eat. Called after an hour for an update and was told driver was on the way. Gave it another half an hour and had to get Just Eat to send a message to them to get an update. Time was yet again updated to say it would be late. Almost 2 hour's of waiting, food arrived at 2am! Driver didn't apologise and no apologies from the restaurant. Food was soggy, wouldn't recommend this'll place to anyone.

Never again! Firstly amazingly poor quality and service, secondly, Took about 1.5 hours to deliver and that too wrong order! The order never got corrected.. If I could have given less than 1 star I would have!!

Don't order anything from this restaurant online.Such an irresponsible restaurant team.They will take 2 hours for a short delivery.We can't expect their food on time.Guys try some another restaurant if you are going to order online through deliveroo or uber eats. I don't know about the pickup orders. Thanks

we ordered food in our lunch break, the food came late and it smelt funny. after eating it me and my colleague got really sick. Had really bad stomach cramps and pale faces. don't recommend ordering from this place EVER!

Great value for money and decent portion sizes for meals. The pizza is really nice here. The one thing I think this shop needs to improve on it’s the delivery time and communication with customers. Other than that it’s a good place for a quick munch

Really bad just eat service and poor quality. We supposed to have our dinner in 30/45 minutes. Unfortunately, we waited more than 1 hour, it was almost midnight, I mean... To late for eat, especially if you have to wake up in the morning to go work. At least we received cold, limp, unsalted wet fries, jalapenos poppers burned outside and cold inside, and Iceland has much better burgers. We have thrown away all the "food". I have tried to call the restaurant 3 times, no answer, so I thought you appreciate more a written review instead. Kind regards.

Didnt recieve my order, we tried calling them, they weren't picking up and waited too long until closing time. Very unreliable!!! We went to collect our order, the man had closed the shop, but he reopened it and remade our order which was really good of him.

I had bad experience from here before but heard they’d changed management. I went in and the new team were so nice in there. I brought some fried chicken and chips for the kids and peri peri for myself and other half. When I was in there I told them about before and they actually gave me a piece of chicken and a wing, a slice of lamb kebab meat and a drink to try while I was waiting. When I tasted them I asked for a few pieces of chicken and hot wings for us too. The lamb meat was nice as well with a tiny kick to it so we’ll be coming here for kebab nights as well. The food didn’t take long and I was offered a drink while I waited. They couldn’t do enough for us. Then when we got home and ate it the kids were the first to say how nice it was... coming from them thats a first lol. Ours was really tasty and tender as well, makes a big difference to the dried chicken we used to get from another place. What a difference I’m so full but want more cos it tasted so nice.

Now under new management & so much better than before. After seeing a number of really good reviews about the new take over I decided to give it a try... so I called them. I was surprised to hear such a friendly voice. I didn’t have a menu but he was so lovely & took his time reassuring me. He told me to take as long as I wanted, as well as telling me all their offers for both delivery & collection. I only had limited funds & I was going to get the 2 pizzas delivered deal then he asked if I drove & if I could collect... so I said yes I could. He said why didn’t I collect & the pizzas would be buy one get one free. So he saved me roughly £10 on my order plus he said by the time I got there it would be nearly ready. When I arrived they were ready & boiling hot. I paid cash & he gave me drink & dip too! They were very kind. By the time I got home I couldn’t wait to tuck in & I wasn’t disappointed. It was really really nice. But as well because I was so satisfied with their service & the saving they gave me I’m sure it tasted all the better too. Will definitely 100% use these guys again. Thank you!! :)

Cannot fault these guys. I used to order from another local shop but since a change of management I thought I’d give it another go... it’s been first class service & the food is really nice. Although I had to wait a little longer I could see how busy they were. But they offered me free drinks while I was waiting & also chatting to me as well. Honestly a pleasant surprise!

Been here and as usual food was very good but had to wait a bit longer no complaints tough as I could see they were extremely busy gave me a free drink for waiting cheers guys keep the good work up Top notch

I have ordered from this restaurant many times without a issue unfortunately tonight's order arrived opening the packaging the chicken smelt off and was slimy to the touch. I have called the restaurant for them to collect the meal and refund my money which they have refused. I will no longer use them nor would I recommend them as I have done in the past to friends and family 👎

Ordered at 11.15 my order never arrived and the restaurant wouldn't answer the phone, probably the worst service I've ever known, do not order from this place ever your better of going to the restaurant and waiting for your food for 2 hours

I ordered off Uber Eats and after waiting nearly an hour, and after making numerous phone calls to Cheeky Chicken, none of which were answered! I called Uber for a refund. Never going to order from cheeky chicken again! Uber eats issued a refund with no issues, very efficient

I got a delivery from them just yesterday (11/09/2020) and it was nice. The sauce on the wings was great, the kebab tasted...not shop bought, I hope, because that was lovely too! and incased in Naan. Good job, and on time! For this delivery specifically - excellent. CC - keep up the good work and rebuild your reputation.

This place is a mixed bag. Chips and peri peri chicken are very good but the fried chicken pieces, strips and wings are rock hard and too dry - possibly the worst fried chicken I've ever had. I would highly recommend if it wasn't for the poor quality fried chicken.

I should have read the reviews before ordering from Cheeky Chicken as I too waited over an hour for a delivery which was originally quoted at 20 mins I called a number of times to ask when it would arrive, every time I was told it was on its way and would only be another 3 to 5 times I eventually cancelled over the phone but the delivery driver still turned up, we sent him away with the food but I have never received a refund. Avoid at all costs

PLease Avoid, Ordered 2 pc chicken and chips, the guy serving was so slow it was unbearable to watch. Saw them put frozen block of chips from freezer into fryer, I should have cancelled the order there and then. 16 minutes later for 2 pc chicken and chips, I asked the guy is the chicken freshly cooked, he said yes. ( Like i thought he gonna say No ) Took food home and like others have mentioned chicken was so hard and impossible to eat and chips were in glued fried state. This shop will be closed soon either by council or by non repeat customers, Seen this too many times RIP.

First time went to there, customet service is good but food is not good. Chicken and Lamb donner were not fresh, looks like you are eating rubber. Chickent wings were not fresh had so much coating and inside meat was kind of ruber.

I rang to say I wanted different sauce on my kebab as it only gave me the option for one. They said no problem on it's way. Turned up cold, without the second sauce even though I clearly stated it. His english was not very good to be answering phones. Also ordered ice cream, wrong flavour arrived and half melted. The shop is near the end of my road! Rang back he said the chilli sauce was in the bag separately. Well it wasnt. Absolute mongs who work there. Avoid!

Wow, where do I even start? I never usually leave reviews on any shop but I felt compelled to due to how horrible this shop is. I ordered food from Uber eats and when I realised the food was coming late I contacted them, dude on the phone seemed uninterested and said the food will arrive shortly, 25min passes and no food, I call again and then waited another 15 min when the delivery driver (who looked like a prison escapee) had delivered my food. I open the bag to find raw fries and slimy chicken, I immediately regretted my order as my stomach began to hurt later on, DO. NOT. ORDER. HERE. I waited over an hour and half for disgusting food and poor customer service, what a terrible shop, if I could give it 0 stars I would. They simply don’t care, not about the customers, food or their shop.

Excellent service! After shopping we were passing by and my son said" he would like fried chicken". We went in the shop and could notice that they were keeping hygeine to high standards as they were wiping the surfaces down. As a mum I was so reassured. Food was prepared keeping the same in mind with minimum hand contact.we only ordered kids meal and a two peice chicken and chips meal. I must say both the meals were absolutely sumptuous, burger, hot wings, fried chicken and chips. Must add very good and friendly staff. Would highly recomend cheecky chicken and would say" it's my new favourite......."

Orderd a few items wvwthibg came fine apart from 3 chicken steak burgers meals their went much chips and 2 out of 3 meals didnt come with drinks We called the restaurant to complain and there reason was they run out of chips Bot acceptable

Wow where to start ! untrained Staff watching them fry the chips was painful I wanted to jump over and do it myself! staff had to keep walking round the front to see price of menu and took 25 minutes for fillet burgers ! and I was the only customer in there, and even better they got my order wrong ! for a new place you would have thought they would have made sure it got off to a good start I will never come back. And to top it of the food was bad. Use kfc or the other chicken place further down. Don’t waste your time on this place

Never had an issue until my last order. The food was late (no big deal) it was still tasty. Within 24 hours of eating i experienced abdominal cramps. Within 48 hours i had bleeding when going to the loo and vomiting. 6 days later my doctor confirms food poisoning. Just eat wont deal with it and cheeky chicken dont answer the phone. Avoid

The last time I got food from here the chicken smelled and tasted like old fish. I wouldn't chance it again. Waste of money and not worth risking your health

Can not fault tonight at all!!! Was a little slow but given circumstances that’s fine apologies at the door from delivery guy. We was then missing a meal (ordered through Uber) they then got missing meal here “again an hour wait” but.........giving current affairs going on........we did get what we wanted with a lot of apology’s well done x

Ordered food, it was 45 mins late, didn't even bother apologising properly they told me they're busy - I totally get that but the lack of responsibility by these clowns is laughable, just check their JustEat reviews. They changed their delivery time and then were late again, not ordering from them anymore and would advise people avoid them.

On behalf of my wife , delivery time is poor , 20 minutes after the order was estimated to be at my house , the order hasn’t even left . Disgraceful

Avoid - Online order declined, I called them just to hear the customer service to say that they have another customer on a line and bye. My order once accepted was missing a pepsi drink with my meal and didn't taste any good either. In fact, I threw away a half of it. Oh and btw, Pepsi is NOT the same as Pepsi Max, as they apparently think.

Order has not arrived. Phoned them an hour ago, was told 10 mins. Nothing arrived and no one has contacted me and they aren't answering the phone. Very poor service. Are now refusing too refund, calling me a lier and being incredibly rude. They even hung up!

The food and service was totally rubbish, half the food was missing! When I complained I was told it would arrive in 5/10 mins, it didn’t arrive for a further 45mins!! Stay well clear!!! Would never recommend this place to anyone!

I have ordered from this place many times and never had a bad word to say about it, but today ordered through just eat on the website it says 25-50 minutes delivery, called 4 times and all the man on the phone kept saying was 5 minutes! so when it FINALLY arrived after an hour most the order was wrong - we had 3 different meals that we didn't even order, and dips that we didn't even order, i called up and explained this the man on the other end of the phone just kept passing the phone to other people, i asked for a refund but the man refused, they just kept repeating themselves, he then was very rude and then CALLED ME AN IDIOT, explained i am a paying customer and he shouldn't speak to people like this - he said he doesnt care i dont own him - ended up hanging up on them. 30 mins later our correct order arrived without us asking for it - absolute joke - should be closed down!

I ordered via justeat My food came over an hour late I called and get told sorry driver late should be there soon, after me saying that's not a good excuse all i get told is i didnt have any driver. I even asked what if i order again or something, no response my order was only £11. He didnt even consider refunding my order or giving a discount. Bad point was i paid when i ordered. If i had cash to pay to driver then honestly i would not given the money with the rubbish customer service they have.

Food was well over 1hr wait order made at 11.30 arrived at 1.00 driver said when he deliverd he only Recived the order 15 minuites prior to delivery! The food was cold and soggy the burger was a disgrace to the burger community the wedges were brunt and Soggy the nachos were terrible! the only thing that was acceptable was the orange tango. Can't even give it one star absoulate waste of money and time waiting for the food the food to arrive to end up stright in the bin.. The only thing cheeky about this company is the fact I had to pay for such poor quality service!

We placed an order last night at 8.45 and at 10pm we called to inquire when it would arrive, the man on the other end of the phone was instantly aggressive for what ever reason I have on idea, he then said do you want to cancel the order to which we replied no, we just wanted to know when it was arriving he then told us to "go f**k yourself". What the hell was that all about? We will never be ordering from them again and nor will any of my friends and family and the food turned up cold and soggy, I highy recomend that you avoid!

Great chicken shop food. Faster delivery than than they said. Enjoyed it three or four times. Will definitely recommend.

Terrible order. Sent wrong food. Food smelt horrible. Didnt even follow basic order requests. They do this all the time. Asked them to collect order and they can keep the money. Lady said i was being petty. Such a shame as they use to be so good at one point. Customer service is atrocious. Never ordering from here again!!!!!!

Do not ever order from this shop !! The bun tasted like bum The chips weren’t even good with the dips Fix the onion rings, please mr Singh And you know the wrap, that made it a wrap. Ps all jokes aside this food was traumatic and I need compensation. If your in the mood for something cheeky ,this is not the chicken shop to turn to. After receiving the food order, we opened up the box to find a mosquito in one of the burger boxes! Cheeky chicken were not apologetic and we are currently waiting to get a refund on all the food as now no one wants to eat it.
