Had a fish box sasuage was fine chips was ok . couldn't eat the fish it was so dry , the batter was thick and solid I could of broke my teeth when biting in to it. Put me well off fish now . With the price of fish you would expect it to be cooked just right . Disappointed 😞

Delivery on time but food was horrible felt and tasted like it was cooked then left out for a fall day and then reheated

Sadly my experience this time was not great. Batter so hard, unable to eat the food, chips majority were the bottom scoops of the fryer. Doubting going again sadly. Total waste of my limited money.

Wouldn't recommend used to be a good chippy but the food isn't fresh and I asked for chips not bits. I would not be returning back to this place.

The price of fish and chips lately you expect good food,ordered row and chips, may as well have had sandpaper and the batter was rock Hard.

Only chippy we use! Food is always cooked perfect!& they make us feel very welcome everytime we go in to get food! The people who work here are one of the reason my kids choose chippy when we want a take away😅Such lovely people as well as amazing food!👏

Just popped in for a quick lunch. Didn't have much time, but only 2 people in the shop, so didn't think I'd have to wait long. 15 minutes later owner is still chatting away to a couple whose order was complete. You have a business to run not a social club. Eventually walked out. Won't be going back.

Food was terrible. Battered sausage wasn't fresh and had a concerning tasted so I had to spit it out. Chips looked like they were left over from the previous day, really dry and more chips had black bits on than didn't. Pretty much all the food went in the bin.

Food was cold when arrived asked for curry sauce separate and came ontop of food which was then all mushy rang up about it to be told they wouldn’t do nothing about it rubbish food and rubbish customer service definitely won’t be ordering from here again

Fish was over cooked and very dry. Not palatable at all. Fresh roe was good. Chips were ok, but not enough salt & vinegar on. Fast delivery, generous portions, but the fish was a massive let down.

Just finished work at an event nearby and popped in for some tea on the way home. I asked for some battered bits and they didn’t have any made but the guy there made some specially for us which was really nice. The food was honestly one of the nicest fish and chips over ever had and lovely thick curry sauce too. Would definitely recommend.

Food was mediocre. Got told I had to spend £5 to pay by card, was then told I could have a £4.80 meal for £5 (yes it's only 20p extra but not the point). The guy behind the counter who I'm assuming was the owner then decided to explain to me about the card machine charges like it was my problem. Probably about 95% of people pay by card these days so if the charges are that much of an issue tie them into the price of the food? Won't be visiting again.

My order was disgusting chip were over done they looked like they old chips probably warm up my chicken breast was overcooked and very dry and mushy peas were hard so very disappointed as we’ve ordered from here a few times and never had any problems but this order should never of been sent out it was disgraceful

Wow the food was terrible. Southern fried chicken was pink in side chips and fish was awful. Definitely been cooked and sat there for a while. Good money down the drain

Been here a few times with friends and hubby, I have to say never had a bad meal, very good value and the onion bhajee are the best in Telford (and round, as they should be 🤣) we will be back.

Cheesy chips were okay but cheese was just clumped up. Missing items and no refund was given. Pie and part of child’s meal. And everything was just cold and horrible. This place used to be amazing don’t know what happened.

Sorry but ordered 2 large cod only for 4 medium sized pieces to arrive with my order, this might seem petty on my part but f4 prices have far more batter covering them than 2 pieces! If they did not have large they should not of excepted the order. Also having eaten cod from here and thousands of other places over the years there is no way it was cod !

Unusually for here but it was cold when it arrived. But it always tastes great.

I ordered a 3 piece chicken meal and had 3 2 piece meals sent. Food was good but I paid the price.

Delivery time was very fast but fish was rock hard like it had been sat out all day and inedible- not very big for large.

Sadly will not be visiting anymore. Large price increases, smaller portion and no card machine on my last visit equate to this decision.

The fish and roe were way over cooked. Chips were pretty good and the pie, well you can't really get that wrong. On the plus side delivery driver was brilliant. But over all not a great experience food wise.

Only place I know locally to get fresh roe must admit one of my all time favourite fish and chip suppers staff always welcoming and chatty

Unfortunately on this occasion we were delivered a portion of cold chips (out of 3 bags which may be fair enough), however the quality of the chips were terrible, greasy, lifeless, really drab.... Which is a shame as I used to be a regular customer many many years ago.. My partner felt that the cod had been left too long. We will stick with Madeley Fish bar in future using their app and carry on collecting loyalty points.

The service at this chippy is outstanding! The food is always fresh! I actually live closer to other chippys... but this is the only one I will ever order from now! Also they will keep the skin on if you ask :D :D only place in Shropshire I've found in the past 11 years that will do so! As I said the service is excellent!

We have had a coupe of takeaway's from here in the past, both very nice, but not eaten in till a couple of weeks ago, the venue was chosen for a family gathering by one of the group that uses it regularly, we were not disappointed, the food was lovely, so we decided to go again Saturday last. We were really impressed the the quality of the food, the presentation and speed of the food coming out was also 1st class. It is unlicensed, so it's a take your own place, (there is a co-op next door that sells all forms of alcohol,) the staff are more than happy to provide you with glasses, ice etc., We found all the staff to be very friendly & attentive, without being over the top, the take away service was busy constantly, the waiter said the majority of their custom is either delivery or takeaway. The place is very clean, the chairs are a little tired as are the toilets, but overall very good value for money, we will definitely be going back, well worth a visit if you haven't tried it yet.

Since being taken over by current owners this is our go to chip shop best we've had in very long time always freshly cooked regardless if delivered or collected and portions are very generous.

Food is good. Delivery time is awful. Ordered at 7.30pm received order one hour 30 mins later. Not good enough for a fast food outlet.

Yummy as always, very good value for money and food was hot. The driver was also really nice, the restaurant had forgotten an item and the driver came all the way back to bring it to us. Very good service, overall really pleased.

Won’t have a delivery again because they are advertising lamb curry but using cheaper cuts of beef instead. Very poor to think that people can’t tell the difference

Nice freshly cooked chicken, friendly and helpful staff. The only downside- they have no salads, but they'll advice you can get them next door, so problem solved.

Strichly fish shop was bang on time and the food was nice and hot and delicious. Will order again in the future.
