Excellent Ales well kept in a now unique but once common London drinking hole, screens inside and outside the pub for those who like their sport. Betting slips on the wall. Old school, must be preserved

We have stopped off at this pub over many years and we have always been warmly welcomed and enjoyed excellent service. The outside terrace is brilliant in the summer. Please don't let the developers destroy another piece of history.

could be a better pub could do with doing up could do with the bar-made having a bit of banter rather than a face like a slapped **** and some training toilets as shocking

Stunning view over the port and great place to each lunch. Food was and the service was good. Looks like some parts of it could do with a good clean up and paint. London Pride was not at its best.

This is a fabulous little pub! The proprietor and Debra are very friendly as are the clientele. We had a great time having a few pints and watching rugby. Dont miss this pub and if you meet a wild Irishman called "Horse" please buy him a drink!

Directly opposite Aldgate Station. Good choice of real ales. Very small pub, but able to stand outside to drink.

The Still is the last surviving London slum pub. A great place to pass a couple of hours, whether on your own or with friends, with a fine range of excellent real ales. The window on the side of the pub used to open up as a counter for a butchers back in the day - you get areal sense of London's history in here.

I was bumbling around downtown London looking for a lunch spot to kill time before a client meeting when I wandered across the Still & Star. Tucked back off the main drag, it was a great little oasis of quiet in a sea of pre-Olympics construction. I took a chance on their 'Still & Star' Whopper for lunch and was AMAZED!!! It was one of the best burgers I have had outside the States, and probably a top 10 lifetime. An amazing burger and a pint from the hand-pump all for under 8 british pounds - what a deal. One block off the beaten path, and miles from the ordinary. I highly recommend it!

Went to tea at the Ritz and was not impressed. The scones were not good and not really scones. Ch and F&M offer better tea experience. Table setting and chairs were very cramped. Service was just ok.

Pret is always my go-to for semi-healthy and fresh lunch on the go when I am in the city. Their coffee is good, and I love their hot meatball wrap.
