Step in Pizza Parlour in East Lindsey

We were staying nearby and hungry so a quick check online aimed us in this direction. Reviews were mixed but we gave it a go and am pleased we did. It was very busy when we arrived but were advised it could be half an hour wait but we were fine with that and appreciated the heads up. It was incredibly popular and it appeared many of the punters were regulars which I guess is a good sign. We got our food after about 20 minutes and on the whole was excellent . My son and I both went for kebabs, a Kotex and Shish respectively and they were huge and very tasty. A few bits of diner meat were thrown in as well. My wife was less complimentary about her pizza, being she is used to a thin crust and this was somewhat thicker than she anticipated but she still enjoyed it. Price was okay and if we are back in the area we will visit again. Be warned, it is cash only.

The service is useless, the woman who runs the place is far more interested in talking to other people than taking your order. Which results in them not taking the order down properly, and giving you less. But hey at least you still pay full price! Also food was so greasy the burger bun was soggy and dripping wet. Please save yourself from this terrible place and eat roadkill, as that would be more palatable.

On arrival I had to wait for 10 mins to be served after placing my order I was then ordered to wait outside totally understandable in the current climate but this didn't seem to be the same for others, paid by cash when asking for a receipt was told I would have to wait for this which took another 10 mins but to cap it all off realised when getting home that I was overcharged by 50p!! Food was good but the service wouldn't make me return.

We’ve had quite a few pizzas from here. Reasonably priced, always hot and always tasty. Well worth every single 10 mile round trip I’ve made to collect.

The pizzas are great here with loads of choice, but for me the garlic bread with cheese and tomato is the best I've ever had. One thing to remember it's cash only.

I have tasted many shish kofte kebabs in my time and this was the worst by far. £7.50 for really poor tasting kofte, a bit of doner meat (why? Not ordered) and red and green cabbage and a sliver of lettuce. The pictures show what they pretend it will look like compared to what it did. No chili sauce (though asked for). Never again! Don't go there!

Spilsby takeaways have a monopoly on fast food in that the closest rivals are really in Skegness or Horncastle 10 miles away. I’ve planned a trip to one of the distant competitors combined with shopping or something similar in the past as none of the Spilsby options have good reputations from word of mouth. I decided to give Step In Pizza a go at 5.10pm today, they had been open 10 minutes, weren’t busy so I ordered two donner kebabs to takeaway. I did notice the meat on the skewer was only about 4” in diameter but I’ll have day old warmed up meat if it’s covered in chilli sauce any day of the week. I was told there were a couple of orders not sorted yet so it would be over half an hour before a donner could be made? Honestly in thirty odd years of ordering a kebab either teatime or last thing at night I’ve never known there to be none left and certainly not ten minutes into opening! Attitudes are everything and frankly the lad pointing at burgers and pizzas could not have cared less. I jumped in my car and headed into Skegness, ordered at Milanos and had hot food in 2 minutes! Twenty mile round trip but I’d rather that than use these slack wasters again.

Used to love this takeaway and I actually started the trip advisor reviews for this Establishment.But in my eyes gone downhill.Recently on three different occassions I have ordered Doner Kebabs which I have been disappointed with.Last was last night 17/10/2019. I asked in my words to the actual Manager Proprieter for a Doner Kebab with salad and loads of Chilli Sauce.Simple order.After waiting a while and no one taking my order then the Manager asked if I had ordered and I said no(no one had approached me as I stood at the counter there a while)Then after a longish wait as it seems there is no organisation of how orders are prepared I received my Kebab.The manager even said to the girl who prepared my order did you put on loads of chilli sauce to which she replied to him yes.When I got home I found the Kebabwhich even though supposedly large (I paid for large)is now only half the size with half the doner meat with only a little salad AND MOST ANNOYINGLY ONE SMALL SPOON OF CHILLI SAUCE.How can me asking for loads of Chilli sauce be misunderstood.The meat was dried up and chewy the pitta bread small I only ate half of this Doner Kebab at home and threw the rest in the bin.So the verdict after three recent disappointment orders Im never going back.I used to live in London 18 years ago and Doner Kebab THERE comes with all types of salad being tomatoes White cabbage Cucumber Onion Red cabbage lettuce and Half a lemon to squeeze on the Salad and chilli sauce to die for..In Step In Pizza Parlour In Spilsby one gets shredded cabbage onion red cabbage and thats it NO TOMATO NO CUCUMBER NO LETTUCE AND DEFINATELY NO LEMON.Shame As I now have to travel twice the distance to Skegness to fulfill my Doner Kebab Cravings.

Me and my partner absolutely love it here and are willing to travel that extra further to come here for our takeaways. The staff are always so friendly and genuinely nice people. The kebab meat is gorgeous and not thick, fatty and greasy like most places and the pizzas are great! Definitely a place to visit ☺️ Keep up the good work guys!

The kebab meat and chips are best I've tasted and you get value for money. The pizzas are freshly made and burgers are all scrumptious. The staff are really polite, helpful and friendly and it isn't expensive to eat here. I go in there for takeaway now every time I go to my caravan in Mablethorpe. I would highly recommend having a takeaway here.

Consistently great food, friendly service always, love their spicy chicken kebabs and even at their busiest times, always have your order ready nearly on time

Ok food !!! When you live in the middle of no where ... frustrating every single time we order we ask for chips cheese mayonnaise and always come home with chips and cheese and a tub of mayonnaise !!! Really hard to make your order clear over the phone and don’t bother to ask for a total bill because there apparently to busy to quickly calculate that for you considering they only accept cash .... Quite frankly the last telephone conversation I just had with the member of staff means I will never order again ... and honestly if you would like a correct order ready in time without over coming a language barrier on arrival don’t bother unless your really in the mood for the only local takeaway...

Visited a few times now and the food has always been great, the staff are always friendly. We will be back soon.

I have visited here on a few occasions and always receive a nice welcome. There is a good choice of food on the menu including Kebabs, Pizza's, Garlic Bread, Burgers and the portion sizes are generous. Can't say that I have ever had a bad experience here so would definitley recommend it.

Love this place I eat here a lot and I am always happy with the meal... Keep up the good work guys... The pizzas are fab and the staff are fab to.... I would recommend this place to anyone...

Nos alojamos en la zona por un par de días con algunos amigos, y descubrí este lugar por casualidad, como el pescado y chip tienda de la carretera había cerrado ya (a las 9:00 p.m. el viernes por la noche? ).

Had an early order so it will probably get busy later but telephone order was ready on 15 mins. Just as requested and very tasty. Couldn't fault it.

Sólo después de haber descubierto este lugar este año después de años de estar en la zona hemos visitado en numerosas ocasiones y no nos podemos quejar, siempre un saludo amable. Visitamos esta noche y fueron extremadamente ocupados, pero mientras espera testigos de ellos conseguir orden después de pedir en un buen tiempo (pedidos contador y también el teléfono estaba sonando el gancho! Sin duda este es un) gran signo de una buena comida? Y no anuncian! Este es sólo un pequeño lo que creo que es un negocio familiar y por la cantidad de negocios que no logran un nivel brillante de servicio al cliente, ignorar malas críticas y pruébalo!

for weeks i was on a really good diet, come treat day i was really looking forward to have some donner meat and chips. went in on a Thursday and they had no donner meat. its a Kabab house! with no KABAB.

Llame comida después de pasar una noche fabulosa en este Kirkby viendo los fuegos artificiales. . No sólo disponible. kebabs y nos dijeron que sería al menos media hora de espera si no más! No hay registro de pedidos volver aunque kebab como la parrilla no era ni siquiera. A la izquierda sin una disculpa y sin comida. En palabras de Julia Roberts "big error enorme, enorme,". . . . . 11 de la gente fuimos a otro lado, en nuestra fiesta. No es bueno para las 8:45 pm de un sábado por la noche.

Food it really yummy from here and the service is 5 star. Staff really nice. You can't beat the chicken kebabs!

Personal estamos tan servicial y amable, y no me podía creer lo limpio que estaba todo, estaba impecable, disfruté de mi pizza y me encantó el extra de ajo encargué. Gracias sin duda volveremos este fin de semana.

Me and the wife get food from here fairly regularly, and it's always been good.Well cooked, well priced and never takes too long to be ready. The staff are always friendly, and they're always up for a chat while you're stood at the counter.Since they moved to the bigger premises across the road, they seem to have gotten better, and we look forward to coming here more in the future.

Pizza,Kebab chips etc always fresh and quickly served never more than 20 minutes wait.We get only Kebabs from here but the doners are better quality than 4 other kebab take aways in Skegness so worth the trip.Always cooked to order salad top quality etc. family business who work all the hours God gives but many repeat customers so something must be right!They always remember you as you walk in and know what you are going to order remembering your face never had this service before.....

The food is good and come relatively quickly so it doesn't mean you're waiting a long time for it. Staff there are nice and literally can step in and order.

We visit here quite regularly even though it is a 16 mile round trip, all the family, 2 to 91 years, love their pizza. Base is always cooked to perfection and the toppings always as you would want ,fresh, tasty, hot, and quick too. Lots of choice of sides, chips are good and family tell me kebabs are great too, I intend to try them myself this weekend. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Prices are second to none. Good food, freshly prepared. Forget Pizza Hut.

We've been visiting Step In for the last 8 years, whilst we lived in Spilsby and still go there now even though we live about 3 miles outside of Spilsby. The food is always great; we have never once had any bad food from here - and we have a takeaway from here once a fortnight so that's like 208 takeaways and never a single bad one! The quality is extremely consistent.The Pizza's are really nice; not dripping in grease like some places you go. They do a good range of kebabs and the chicken and doner meat is always tasty. Doner meat from anywhere else tastes rubbish compared to Step In. The salads are always fresh, and the portion sizes are always generous.The staff are fantastic and always really friendly, and the food is really good value.Service is great - we've never had to wait more than 20 minutes between placing a telephone order and collecting, even when it's really busy!Best fast food around. Whenever we go to a different takeaway if we are away on holiday, or at friends houses etc it's never as good as Step In and we always miss it!
