Fantastic quality food with very attentive staff.

Spent a Magical afternoon at St Elli's Bay, Llanelli celebrating my dad's 89th birthday and it was absolutely fabulous!! It's a gem of a place on the beach overlooking lovely views of the sea and coastline. Sunny, windy, raining, whatever the weather the place has a great ambience!! Food is very tasty and there are offers too, check out the website. There is parking but at weekends it obviously gets more busy so be aware. On the ground floor there is a cafe and outside there is an ice cream shop where you can sit outside enjoying the view. The staff at the restaurant are excellent as always and it was our lucky day as they were doing a photo shoot of about 6 cocktails on the menu and after the photo shoot asked if we wanted the cocktails the had made which of course, we just couldn't say no ha ha 😉. It was the most fun and magical birthday made more so by the attentive staff, great ambience and not forgetting the delicious food of course!! Iechyd Da and Bon Appetit everyone!!

Gelateria. Possibly the best I creams we’ve had. Great flavours, freshly made , generous portions and fairly priced. Enjoyed in the sunshine. Thanks!

Great little cafe/restaurant. Food and coffee was excellent. Staff are very attentive and professional, they make you feel welcome but don't hover over asking is everything OK constantly. Nice views over the estuary.

Lovely place to visit, took my mum who needs a wheelchair and the promenade was fantastic. All flat and wheelchair accessible. Stopped at the bistro for a drink and ice cream, excellent service and lovely ice cream, would recommend to all

We visited St Ellis on a Saturday evening in August for dinner with friends, four of us in total. We were at the ‘Brasserie’ for 3.5 hours, during which time we received one course, of a two course set menu; however the menu states that your table is reserved for a maximum of 2 hours. The wine was good, but food mediocre at best - certainly not worth the value placed upon it. When speaking to the manager he appeared to understand the issue but said they “were busy”. When asking if our experience is reflective of the price he took 10% off as “that’s the most the till can do”. At no time did anybody ask if our food was okay, if we would like more drinks or if we would like another course. The venue lost out on our further spend and as a result of the poor service we would not return or recommend St Ellis to anybody and believe there are significant competency gaps with the staff’s service, requiring urgent training.

We have eaten here twice and on both occasions the food and the staff have been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The servings are generous but more importantly delicious. Would happily recommend this place to anybody and look forward to many more family meals here in the future.

Can’t fault it in any way, our first visit and we will definitely return. Opted for the early bird menu, two courses for £19.95. Good selection, excellent value tasty food. The main dinner menu also looked excellent although more expensive. Service was first class with the staff being polite and efficient in a very natural manner. The location is fabulous with outstanding views over the beach and estuary.

Lovely evening dining at St Elli Bay to celebrate a birthday. Food is fantastic and the service is first class. The icing on the cake was the wonderful sunset over Carmarthen Bay. Diolch .

We had a great evening, we were dining for the final meal with family from Germany and I must say, staff made the evening a great one. Everyone wanted fish & chips (it's not a thing they usually get to try) and even I could have fish & chips with them because the chef did the fish without batter for me (I am gluten intolerant) so I didn't have to miss out, I was really grateful. Everything was delicious. George, Belinda and the chef were brilliant, so helpful throughout the evening. Thank you all for making our special time a perfect one.

Food is decent enough, but you are paying London prices in Llanelli. You can find equally good food elsewhere which is far more reasonably priced.

I only called for a takeaway coffee which served its purpose. However it was overpriced for what it was.

Service was a little slow and we had a long wait for our main course. Plus I had the lamb dish and it was a bit tough, not what I expect for Welsh lamb. However all the other food was very good.

This is the best place that we've eaten in since being in Wales this week. The food was outstanding. The young lady that served us was sooo lovely. I can't remember her name. Blonde ponytail and at collage. She is a credit to your restaurant... (social care) We would definitely recommend this place, and definitely would go back...

Excellent experience. Would have liked to see the fish and chips on the lunch menu. However, our first visit will not be our last visit. Went for a nice walk after to burn off the dessert....haha

Had a nice time at St.Eli's Bay. Very attentive and kind staff. They made sure we could have the Brasserie menu served downstairs as our dog was not allowed upstairs.

Found this bistro cafe below the brasserie. Maybe if the weather had been nicer we could have enjoyed it more as it looks inviting to sit outside. The food was OK...no big surprises & a little overpriced. Probably best for snacks / ice cream & drinks.

Had family Sunday lunch in the Brasserie - which is on 1st floor and enjoys stunning views of the bay. Food was excellent- St Elli’s will definitely be our favourite restaurant from now on !

This place is an absolute gem and somewhere I now like to visit regularly. Usually I get a coffee and a cake of some kind when I’m out walking the coast path, but today I went for breakfast (see photo in my review) which was lovely. The bacon was especially nice, the tomato’s were left on their vine which liked and they were very tasty. Everything was cooked perfectly and it didn’t take very long to arrive either. Their coffee is excellent, I am yet to find nicer coffee in the area. Their cakes are wonderful - all made in their kitchen. I am particularly fond of the brownies, but everything else on offer looks wonderful and the custard slices (which I have had before) are enormous. Highly recommend the custard slice! I’ve had lunch here before too, which was delicious. Especially the focaccia bread - wow! All the food is cooked excellently and is nice + fresh. I’ve yet to go, but I believe there is another restaurant upstairs (same business). There is also a gelataria outside serving ice cream. I’ve not tried it, but it looks amazing. Service is good. The staff are very friendly and I think Italian run. It has a slightly old fashioned feel to it with the waiters in waistcoats and I quite like this. This is also a dog friendly restaurant, so you can take your dog in with you. They leave water bowls outside for dogs too. I have found some reviews on here which moan about price and I’m aware some locals are a bit sniffy because of this. The pricing is not unreasonable, actually for what you get I think it’s very good value. This is an actual restaurant, not McDonalds where you get ultra processed, deep fried junk thrown at you in a bag to eat with your fingers. So bear that in mind… Located by the beach and coast path, it’s in an excellent location and plenty of car parking too. Overall this place is fantastic.

Stopped in for Gelato and we will be back. We had nutella, which was divine, not sickly at all. We also had salted caramel and it tastes just like the B&J dulce du leche, but with a silkier texture. Very inexpensive also at around £3 for a tub that is generously filled.

Myself and a friend had the absolute worst cappuccino here I have ever had, nothing more than a cheap instant coffee. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place, no matter how convenient its location may seem. One star is way too much to give.

Wonderful birthday dinner - we had three courses and loved every one of them. It’s fine dining in a comfortable luxurious setting with those amazing views. Excellent value for money.

Have been here before and had excellent food but sadly our visit yesterday was not good. Decided to try the vegetarian breakfast and it was awful! Revolting “potato and beetroot” rosti; home made baked beans tasted awful and the halloumi was totally over cooked. The staff were good but when they asked if everything was OK and I gave them feedback, they did absolutely nothing about it! The Manager didn’t seem to care either. Unlikely to go back or to recommend to others based on this experience.

We didn't go in the restaurant but did enjoy the views from outside whilst eating our ice-cream from the Gelatin shop. A different flavour on both days! It was delicious.

This was one of my favourite go to places however really disappointed yesterday . Took Hubster there for breakfast. We both had a breakfast and coffee which came to £30 and sadly did not enjoy at all. One rather of bacon two cheap sausages , beans that looked like mash and really greasy. The breakfasts there used to be so tasty and healthy looking but this let it down considerably… very disappointed ☹️

In the brassie we had a lovely lunch, fab place with a great view of the bay. Polite and efficient. Good value.. Big thumbs up.

Many (three to four people) at our table ordered the "roast striploin of beef, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables, and duck fat roasties." The beef was chewy—you did not want to continue eating (red flag). Everyone left their meat behind at the end. My parents took all beef home to feed the dog. The service was very friendly, but orders came out slowly. They added mustard to cauliflower cheese. I was okay with it, but most people did not like it. I was a bit sad about it afterwards.

My wife Called in while dog walking for a can of Pepsi and a small bottle of water……………£4.70. I said it had to be a mistake…… it wasn’t!!!!!!!!😡. What a rip off fuelled by pure greed.

We had a superb roast at St Elli’s Brasserie. We had a couple of dietary requirements in our group and an elderly guest also - the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind. Thank you for having us!

What a lovely place to have our lunch. Beautiful setting. Lovely view of the sea. We had the 2 courses meal offer - It was delicious. The only very small thing I would add is that there was only 2 choices of dessert offered on the 2 courses menu.

Fantastic welcome, everyone was so happy to help. We ate in the bistro as we had our dog with us, but managed to order from the brasserie menu. One of the best Sunday lunches I've had in a long time. Cannot fault anything, would definitely recommend for service, food and friendliness. We will be visiting again very soon and as often as we can.

Lovely cafe, good size. Cakes were AMAZING! Dog friendly inside which is a bonus. Good location with the cheap car park and the lovely walk along the front. Good for pram days out.

Best Gelato in Wales - and great service from Service from Stefano and his crew. It's open from Feb 13th - go try some - I reccomend the Salted Caramel and the Mango - amazing!

Great venue with a beautiful view of the beach, friendly professional staff, excellent menu and possibly the best chips in Llanelli. The bistro is casual and dog friendly, so you can bring your pooch for a dog treat after a walk on a beach.

I've been here a few times lately. Food is good. Service is good. I've always managed to get a seat even when it's busy.

Poor service. Waited to be served for over 15 minutes and nobody came over and said anything. When I asked if I could order just a can I was told they were too busy.

Lovely lunch today, staff very friendly, food was fabulous.

Lunch menu on 10.02.24 had plenty of wonderful choice, the main meals and deserts were amazing. The views across the Gower coastline and Burry Port were lovely too so book a window seat! We will definitely be returning soon.

We had a superb meal at the 1st Floor Brasserie this afternoon . We are regular visitors to the Brassiere and the ground floor Bistro cafe; it never disappoints! The food today was full of flavour and was well presented. The welcome and service was of a very good standard.
