Station Wok in Glasgow City

This was perhaps the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. Granted we didn’t have the traditional Chinese menu, opting rather for the more westernised items. My wife started with salt and chilli wings which were basically just fried chicken wings. And seasoning that did come with it was scattered around the plate. I started with the West lake beef soup which was ok. For mains I chose the satay - the chicken was very rubbery and cheap tasting and the sauce was overly sweet. The accompanying fried rice was very sticky and heavy. My wife had the chicken curry which she said was nearly ok. As a result we ate virtually none of the main course. We asked for the bill and the waitress completely ignored the fact that there two virtually untouched portions of food on the table. She merely took my card and the bill was paid. This part of Glasgow has lots of Chinese/Malaysian/Korean eateries from street food to high end. Unfortunately this one does not rate at all. I so wish we had gone to the far far superior Dumpling Monkey across the road. Needless to say we will never be back.

It’s been going for years and it’s still one of the best Chinese take aways in the West End. The chicken curry is excellent. It’s sited right next to Partick underground and train station and can be busy at the weekend but I’ve never had to wait to long - I never get home delivery so don’t know what that’s like.

Bastante agradable, pero los platos no son exactamente como se describen y no hay galletas de gambas que pagamos. Probablemente no se molestaría en volver a pedir desde aquí.

Demasiado caro para los chinos promedio, ordene en otro lugar de Patrick para una comida más sabrosa. Todo lo bueno tuvo que ser recalentado

Went in here after a long journey from Australia on the way to my AirBnB close by....tried to order but was advised by the person on the counter that all my £20 notes that I had ordered through a major Australian bank before arriving in Scotland, “looked counterfeit” and would not be accepted, despite having used a same looking £20 note, issued by the same national bank of Australia, earlier in the day. When I enquired about using eftpos I were advised they didn’t have any. Went across the road and bought a subway with the £20 note with no hassle. Probably a blessing in disguise as the shop looked filthy.

been looking for a good Chinese carry out around Partick and walked past his one numerous times and dismissed it as typical "next the station ..drunken chips and curry sauce" place. But was pleasantly surprised and had a really nice carry out meal..very good value

Ordered from their vegetarian menu only to find bits of meat in it when we got home , food was uneatable ! Night and dinner totally ruinined !!

Order for home delivery arrived early. Food was great tasting and exactly what I ordered. Would use again.

Compramos algunas de chile y sal patatas fritas los domingos por la noche después de un concierto y eran espléndidas. 30 p pero condimentos te puedo asegurar que no es categóricamente no hay necesidad porque estas patatas fritas son una delicia en su forma original. Deliciosamente batería y perfectamente condimentadas, no vas a encontrar un chip mejor en el mundo. De hecho, no he dejado de pensar en las patatas fritas. Los mejores tres libras que he pasado, volveremos en un futuro muy próximo.

Not very good. Not much choice. Felt very rushed to make my mind up. Won't be back. Would rather have went next door to the chippy tbh with you.

Yummy food and friendly staff. Very good value for money. Although was disappointed with their Satay sauce. Highly recommend the Sweet n Sour Cantonese Style!

Our usual haunt was closed so had to look elsewhere. Don't, like me, be fooled by the 'half a star off of full stars' rating. The food was awful. Took over an hour to come, and then what did arrive was cold, tasteless, gloop. Hot and sour soup - tasteless. Sweet and sour chicken - a really popular dish, hard to get wrong you'd think? The chicken batter was burnt, the sauce was so thick you could stand your fork in it. Tasteless to boot. Roast pork - the only slightly edible item from our order, but still was cold and incredibly greasy.

Ultra fast delivery from my favourite Chinese take away. Food delicious and fantastic quality! Any bad reviews on here about this place are clearly false and made up because I have eaten from here for the last 3 years and I cannot fault them. Not once. Thanks station wok!

The salt chilli ribs were really lacks of seasoning, but the veggies came with it were very good. The sweet and sour chicken was okay, but not the best I have had.

First Chinese takeaway I've had in Glasgow and it was very tasty. The service was good and the owner very friendly. Hopefully try it again sometime.

Food was not as food as I remember from previous years. Oyster sauce was very bland and chicken noodle soup was just boiled water and very little taste. I was disappointed as this used to be a favourite place for me.

Order regularly from Station Wok. The food is always delicious and we don't wait long at all for it to get to us. Top food - fast!! Can't fault it.

cheap & nasty if you want a quick takeaway to pop in & out lunchtime Monday through Friday.most of the usual Western style Chinese food.NO traditional Chinese food on offer here.has seating for about 2 People & is really cramped & uncomfortable.Owner can be quite cheeky towards Customers.

Food was fine.. Nothing special. Delivery time was good for a sat night and driver was friendly. Was a mistake with the delivery charge which left me scrambling around for change while he waited at the door.

Nearly two hours late, couldn't get through to them on the phone, food was cold and very poor quality.

Had onions and been sprouts in the noodles and we specified "no veg in anything please"

The delivery took such a long time, by time food got here it was cold. Wasn't the best chow mein but the Thai seafood rolls were tasty!

This was our first order from Station Wok and sadly it will be our last. The food that was handed over was cold and therefore needed to be reheated in the microwave (excluding the chips which were binned).

Order the pancake rolls, they are amazing

Our usual Chinese takeaway (Mr Rice) was closed so we thought we'd try this place. The reviews were good, so we were looking forward to the food. Disappointing is an understatement. Chips were inedible - if they were not brick hard solid, they were soggy mush. Pancake rolls were just 'pancake' - no veg inside. Nothing, but more pancake. Also, soggy mush. Curry sauce was edible - hard to go wrong really, Chicken with Green Pepper in Black Bean Sauce - I counted 3 small pieces of pepper, a few shavings of onion and four large pieces of chicken. Lots of black beans, no taste. Roast Pork Fried Rice - the dog enjoyed it. We won't recommend and we definitely will not use again.

The meal came a lot earlier than I expected, and I didn't have a tip ready! I will be ordering from them again though, and will tip this time! I had duck in orange sauce, and it wasn't bad as such but I won't be ordering it again. The food was also on the cold side and I had to microwave it. But I will use them again, just try something else!

Ordered a portion of chips, portion of curry sauce, and portion of fried rice. Curry sauce was cheap quality - horrible! And was given a small box of chips as opposed to a bag which you would normally expect. Ended up throwing most of the food in the bin as it was just not enjoyable at all.

In general, the food was great, however, I got disappointed when I tasted the hot and sour soup.

The chicken was succulent and delicious the only down side was they didn't have Ice cream in stock which when you've geared yourself up for its quite disappointing but the handwritten note explaining this was a nice touch

Chicken fried rice wasnt too great with the gravy on, chicken balls were ok and chips were nice, sweet chill sauce was delicious and curry sauce was nice not too nippy i dont like a hot curry sauce. Would order again but not in a hurry to.

Reasonably good food, arrived hot and in good time on a Friday night. Duck (in plum) was a bit fatty, but chow mein had loads of chicken in it.

Delivery and quality of food was great. I got Beef in a Black Bean sauce instead of Black pepper sauce. Didn't have time to ring back for a reorder and this isn't the first time this has happened from a take away in Glasgow, so maybe be extra vigilant when ordering that dish. Zero complaints other than that

Never normally have any issues but i ordered £20 worth of food it took 2hrs to show up and when it did the abrupt driver said we are busy and rushed off. I think the takeaway could have handled it better and sent an apology. The food wasn't its usual standard & was cold&hard 😔 disappointed customer.

Food was nice although was almost cold when I got it. The plastic tub was all cracked and the sauce was spilled all over the bag and rest of the food. I also got the wrong juice from order. All in all prob wouldn't order again
