Starbucks Redditch-Warwick Highway DT in Redditch

I am 38 weeks pregnant and built the confidence to go for a solo drink. I walked up to the pastry counter whilst I was looking and said hiya and was about to order… a girl there rudely said “the till is over there” I was stood approximately 2 foot away from the till because I was looking at the pastries. This took me back and I was like oh ok I’ll stand right in front of the till, there was no thankyou or anything from her. Then she literally stared at me the whole time I was there which made me feel very uncomfortable as I was already out of my comfort zone of being on my own. Staff were not welcoming at all!!

Bad service ordered on the app went thru the drive thru 5 mins later drinks wasn’t ready got told to wait in parked bay then the woman’s order got do first who came thru the drive thru behind me.

Great service, excepts dogs in the cafe, drive thru is very efficient and always has my coffee ready. Some tasty pastries in the morning.

The staff here seemed judgemental as when I was deciding on what to purchase they were staring at me and started to whisper to one another making me feel like I shouldn’t be there. Then the bloke with glasses asked me my name and I asked him to heat my sandwich and he said wait at the end and I said for my sandwich and drink and he said yes. I wasn’t given a pattern or name on my drink so not sure if this place is reflective of the advertising for Starbucks. It was not busy as only 2 other people sat in with their laptops. There was too many staff standing around doing nothing but talking to one another. The main entrance door was covered in smears so obviously the place is not being kept clean. There was no greeting and all the staff were doing were standing around with their arms folded staring. The focaccia chicken sandwich was ok even though overpriced and the latte was not to my liking as it wasn’t made with care. I sat in but just wanted to leave and wish I hadn’t given this one my business and unfortunately won’t be returning because I found the staff lazy and quite rude.

APPALLING VALUE... Probably the last time I go to a Starbucks. £1.10 for literally a mouthful of cake, £3.20 for a slightly larger piece and the steak sandwich was 2 wafer thin slices of beef.

This Starbucks only accepts payment from customers with bank accounts. (Cards only). So if you don't have a bank card, for example being homeless with no address for a bank account, don't expect service.
