Starbucks - Dundee Kingway West DT in Dundee City

Place was a mess! Hot chocolate wasn't hot, when we asked for another, the server made a rude comment to us, within earshot of everyone.

Keep the canines out! Everytime the door opened, two dogs barked continuously. Not a relaxing atmosphere

Coffee nice, limited options for GF food. Overall nice place.

Tables full of finished drinks and plates, staff not bothering to come out on floor to tidy, customers having to ask for clothes to clean table before sitting down. Very poor

Decaf latte was great but the banana loaf tasted old, the espresso was disappointingly weak

Nice place to stop on a long journey. Just beside A90. Quick service, good quality food and coffee.

Was served here very quickly! Morvenn that served me was so friendly and smiley. Altogether a delightful experience!!

Horrible service guy with ginger hair really ruthless I feel like he served my order for punishment overall expensive spend over 50pound for two hot toast two paninins two coffees muffin at something else this people looks like they don't like to work there, dark cold place can't feel the worm coffees shop vibe.in Costa cafe all guys are happy nice for the customers you could feel positive vibe do not recommend this place to any one staff should be replaced they make you feel weird any other coffee shops are much wormed welcome people you could feel that

Drove by to get a vanilla latte on my travels home. Turned out to be one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t know what syrup they put in, or how much, but it did not taste like vanilla! I pulled over and gave it a stir - but still, I could only drink half of it. 🤢 Staff member was outside when we arrived. Looked like she was either having a cigarette Or trying to tan but was on her phone. After going in the staff just looked tired and really didn’t want to be there. Moody. Wasn’t the cleanest place neither. Won’t be back.

Waiting nearly 10 mins for two drinks, while other people are getting there’s who ordered long after, got told they have one blender, but yet they can still make drinks for the people behind? doesn’t really make sense

I’ve had many lovely experiences in this Starbucks. Really helpful staff and tasty drinks. Will definitely be back!

Its a Starbucks normal nothing special.

Visited 3 weeks ago with a friend for a long overdue catch up. Remained in cafe and received a £100 fine for overstaying time in car park. As noted in other reviews about actual positioning of cafe in a semi-industrialsed area and cafe never that busy this unexpected time limitation should be brought to their customer's attention. Fair enough people overstaying while using cafe as office space but surely genuine customers should not be penalised. Disappointing to say the least. Future Starbuck visits....?????

cheese toastie tasted horrible

Service was quite slow today. No one in front, but took a good few minutes to be served. Not usually like that. Update: 20/6/24 - service was quite slow again actually. Had to wait a wee while before being served, with no onevin front. Disappointed.

Great service and friendly staff

No whipped cream on latte, didn't arrive in Just Eat bag, latte had spilled over in brown bag, cake was gorgeous, no straws.

This is a popular half way stop off spot between Aberdeen and Edinburgh. Service is good and the drinks are exactly as offered. This place is also dog friendly.

Delivery driver was extremely rude.

I don't know what happens on this place, but they treat you like you are something you step on.

2 out of 4 people drinks were fine. They unfortunately gave my husband a coffee that was cold and put a shot of coffee in my young son’s white hot chocolate but we were already past the drive thru and back onto main road before we realised. Pretty disappointing.

No-one cleans the tables in this Starbucks. I had to clean the table myself. I visited with my Dad who is 76 years old. He said he does not want to come back again because of this.

It's a Starbucks. Good. Does what it says on the tin.

Don't come here often, first time sitting in today and I know it's Easter Sunday but the staff and the whole place were just moody as. We brought our 2 dogs in which were perfectly behaved (for once) and the server had no manners or time for us at all.

The staff on shift that served me were very lovely and accommodating. Served with a smile and were pleasant. Iced coffee made was the best one I've had out of all the other locations

Good stop when driving north, parking is a bit tight but can always park on the road. Quick to serve and make drinks and had a toilet!

Friendly staff always make you feel welcome. Good for meeting up with friends

staff are rude and passive aggressive, told us that they don’t do venti when it clearly states on the menu that venti size is an option. mates coffee tasted cheesy and she was given a macchiato when she ordered a matcha. not happy.

Stop here every time I come through Dundee going home to Aberdeen.

Staff are sound! Coffee is good, (my mate Ricky said sometimes but he doesn't mind). Scenic location good view of the Cash

Very kind young lady talked me through menu options as I had not eaten there product in many years. Freshly cooked. They were clearing up as we entered and stopped to serve us. Thank you.

Little grubby to be honest table full of dishes and coffee beans all over the floor at the counter making the floor very slippy. But latte was good.

Either the prices you charge u would think u could get the order right I asked for a ham and cheese croissant and got a plain croissant not happy won’t be back

Every time I went here, I hated the experience. Unfriendly, unpleasant and rude staff. Lots of space in cafe but not clean. Tables and chairs are pretty old and sick! Today while at counter, I noticed hair lying near cashier desk. I ordered cakes and brownies. It took almost 10 minutes for that to be served. There were nearly 7-8 staff behind the counter and 8-10 costumers waiting in line for their orders. Staff just dumps the cakes near collection point and customers have to go through the pack to see which one is theirs. Never go if you have a choice. Located on a busy road and has a drive through so probably customers like to pop in!

Didn’t even order. Stood there for five minutes. I actually manage a Starbucks kiosk in USA. Nobody spoke to us, nobody made eye contact so we decided to go to Gregg’s where the service was much better. Will never go back. Thank you for an awful experience.

Blue hair barest very nice helpful. Shame cakes were packed away as we wanted some.

Stop regularly for and iced coffee and a gingerbread man

Have never complained about a place before but one of the staff members was extremely rude and disrespectful. After a two hour drive from a funeral I came in to get a sandwich and they were not accepting card. I went to pay with the Starbucks app and double checked the machine still wasn’t working. Her response was “we wouldn’t have the signs up if it was working would we?” Never been spoken to in such a condescending and rude way at any coffee shop before. I’ve also worked in many busy customer service places and never felt the need to speak to anyone like that. There seems to be no way to complain on the Starbucks website. Just wanted that person to know that I was already feeling terrible and you made me feel worse 👍

Super friendly staff and a dog friendly atmosphere. Right next to an M&S which is convenient.

Girl that 'served me' today extremely rude and sarcastic for absolutely no reason. But hey, at least she gave her colleague with the man bun a good laugh, I suppose they have got to do something to entertain themselves working in a job they clearly hate. Coffee tasted awful to top it off - great work guys.

The strawberry flavor was very week

That grillað cheese and ham was fire. The coffee was OK, but loved that sandwich. ☆

However, the delivery was just left on my doorstep. No phone call, no nothing. Really did not appreciate that.

Went into the drive through, asked for 3 drinks, got the three drinks. Can't ask for more than that.

Great stopping point on route further north

Order arrived and missing one drink. Drink that did arrive had been spilt everywhere and was all over the lid, cup and drinks holder. What was left was lukewarm and tasted awful so it was thrown down the sink. I wasn’t contacted by Starbucks to say there was an issue with the missing item even though the delivery driver shouted at me to “just call the shop” and something about a broken machine as he walked off. Tried calling the store as advised by the driver however the number just kept ringing out. Been refunded for the missing drink but not for the drink received which had to be discarded anyway. Waste of money and really disappointed in the service.

Excellent delivery however I ordered the signature breakfast roll. It had no scrambled egg or cheese. Bit expensive for a roll with a few small pieces of fatty bacon and small amount of sauce. Won’t order again. Only thing good was the cup of coffee.

The reusable cup which we ordered didn’t come, I am looking to be refunded this money. Any help is appreciated, many thanks.

Typical Starbucks, well kept, friendly and accommodating staff helped with my order.

Rolls were tough to chew. Crisps were missing. Muffins put on top of hot rolls so all melted. Not the best today

Some of the staff let it down. They are rude and not very professional. other guys are very welcoming. Won't be stopping at this one in dundee again.

Food was good as always but driver wanted me to come out my flat walk down to come collect my order while point of just eat is it’s brought to your door says he didn’t want to come in cause of area I stay but that’s not an issue should still bring to door or there’s no point in putting flat number down then he came up didn’t even knock on the door and left my food just sitting outside where anyone could grab it ridiculous

Nice little Starbucks beside the main road from Edinburgh to Aberdeen. Kept clean and a quick service of well brewed coffee.

Went 8pm for a coffee and the staff couldn't be more rude. They were already tidying the shop and it was still 2 hrs before closing time. Terrible atmosphere. No cream on my hot chocolate.

Staff are so friendly. Drive through if your on the go. Plenty seats inside for catch ups, work,reading or lunch.

Ordered a coconut milk cappuccino and received half a cup of froth - very disappointed - wont be back.

A very consistent experience - consistently the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to over several visits. Coffee always the worst. Variety is provided by the staff, from very pleasant, to mostly entirely indifferent and, on one occasion, a real ‘belter’, who was aggressive and argumentative completely out of the blue. There’s a good Greggs next to it though, which even serves better coffee, so not all bad.

Slow service. Could do with a good clean. (Very dusty window sils)

Terrible experience. All tables were dirty, bins overflowing, staff member was rude after they forgot our order. Sorry to say, but the staff are clearly poorly managed and undertrained! Changed baby in the car through fear of the state of the toilets.

Cappuccino doesn't taste so nice. Very bitter. Definitely doesn't taste like the blonde roast I received yesterday. Tastes like the signature roast instead. Disappointed 😞

Was very busy but staff were still friendly and good. Food heating had issues, but staff were straight out to inform everyone and give solutions.

Coffee was not I would call hot,but I was away along the road before I noticed,,dual carriageway so could not go back.

Disappointing visit . Early afternoon chairs ,tables and floor covered in crumbs and dust where ever you looked plus staff bickering behind the servery. Won’t be going back .

Coffee was fine, but wow, everything else disappoints. Unkempt, dirty and untidy seating area's. Service was so bad that I felt like I was really an inconvenience for being a customer. The place was less than half full and honestly the atmosphere made me dread sitting in. Not an enjoyable experience.

Literally said in my notes if you don’t have what I’ve asked for then don’t accept my order. Coffee itself was disgusting. You can’t come at me and say you put anything in there that I asked for. Would just like one good experience.

😡😡Absolutely disgusted with the attitude of one of the workers here Today around 4pm one of the male workers discriminated my autistic son at the drive thru speaker while he was having a panic attack and said "Can we not have shouting at the drive thru" in a rude way absolutely disgusted Hope you get fired!!!!!!!

Great place to stop for a pit stop and coffee between Aberdeen and Central Belt

They priotise the drive thru over the in store customers. Waited for a good 10mins whilst they served at least a dozen of the drive thru customers. Very poor

Drink was spilled in the bag, driver didnt seem to know what to do, currently agruing to get a refund!

Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been in. No atmosphere, oven sounded like an aeroplane taking off. Just so noisy. Bathroom smelled of mould. Drinks and food were fine but we went for a cafe experience, not a drive through.
