Starbucks Drive Thru in Sefton

Same as other reviewers, stung by the parking fines. What a country we live in when we get ripped for parking in a place to spend money in their stores. I won't be giving Starbucks my custom any more. There does not seem to be any justifiable reason for the parking fines, the car park was not full, the area the Starbucks is in is quiet and the hospital over the road has plenty of parking that is actually free of charge! It all just leaves a sour taste in the mouth constantly being ripped off by these companies which actually need us to spend money with them!

Will never go back, met a friend for business and got caught out with £100 fine. The staff didn’t advise that this could happen. As people like to work in coffee shops it would easy to get caught out. We spent money on lunch, coffees and water. Will be steering clear and advising others to do the same. Such a small minded way to run a business - Starbucks do not deserve the custom.

Arrived for a coffee with a friend. Both of us were fined £100 each for staying over 90 minutes in the car park. Even though we were paying customers! Had to appeal and show proof of payment. Evidence didn't matter though , we were both still expected pay even though the notice is conveniently above eye line and the font was written by a borrower. Won't use it again.

Horrendous to be charged £100 for spending 2 hours for a business meeting for the luxury of parking my car in an empty carpark.. Bye bye Starbucks, you won’t be seeing a penny of my hard earned cash ever again..

Like everyone else giving there review here .... I think it's an absolute disgrace.... Getting fined after spending a good chunk of money when invited to meet up with a friend and then getting threatened with a £100 fine. I hope vars parking get scrapped. Will be telling everyone I know to avoid Starbucks as there are lots of lovely cheaper places to meet up in and maghull with free parking. If you can avoid at allllll cost

Starbucks, your staff need to make their patrons aware after an hour that they are going ro be fined in half hour!!!!!!! Met with friends for a post Xmas catch up, stayed 2 hrs, spent money and got gifted with a 100 fine!! At no point did the staff warn us, instead allowing us to buy more rounds at the time we should have been leaving! Despicable!

Sat in the premises and bought multiple drinks whilst meeting friends. Spent a lot of money on drinks. Only to be surprised by a parking fine for not drinking and talking to friends in less than 90 minutes. Didn't realise there was any notices as they are placed in areas where you would not naturally look. Maybe entrance to store would be in line of sight. This will cost Starbucks the custom of my self and others involved as they I will never buy another drink from them again. This was my 3rd visit in as many weeks with spends of upwards of 30 pound each visit.

What an absolute disgrace, met a friend for a coffee on 17th December and we stayed for just under 2 hours, at no time were we informed by staff that the max you could stay was 90 mins, I appealed this fine straight away and they asked me for evidence that I was in this premises, I gave evidence and they still rejected it but now they want £100 even thou it was appealed straight away. Sorry starbucks but I won't be using you ever again and I will fight this all the way.

Absolutely disgusted to have received the gift of a £100 parking ticket this Christmas for sitting in here to work for 2 hours. I didn't even think to look if there would be parking restrictions in a place like this because it's ludicrous. What a shame Starbucks can't put a notice up to let their customers know they're going to be disproportionately fined for taking up a parking bay. I wonder if the two bays they were taking up with Eurobins that day got a fine as well???

Que is literally onto the main road most mornings. Some mornings it takes over half a hour. Not enough staff and staff that are working are so slow.

The starbucks itself was alright but I just want to warn people that it's a 90 minute stay and £100 fine for anything over (£60 if paid in 14 days). Maybe a suggestion to staff (even though it's not their responsibility but would just be a bit helpful) is that they could make people aware of it when ordering? We've received fines and won't go back to this one now as don't want to risk it again or have to rush out. It's fine if you'll be under 90 minutes though.

had a business meeting with a colleague and was never warned or made aware we could only stay max 90 minutes. we often meet up here even with family we spend over £30 per visit each time STARBUCKS YOU HAVE JUST LOST A LOT OF MONEY my self and business partner both got a ticket each for staying in your premises for 1hour 45 mins STARBUCKS you have made a HUGE mistake having this parking restriction. you have just lost aminimum of 8 peoples custom. parking ticket no PKEG52800144023
