Starbucks Coffee in Glasgow City

Came here as hubby likes the fruit toast. It's expensive for a ¾ full tall late. I'd already had to correct 2 mistakes couldn't be bothered on a 3rd time. Would I come back? I won't on my own only if fruit toast is required!!

This store is absolutely filthy. The stairs look like they have never seen a mop in years.the toilets are disgusting staining and a mountain of filth and dust that looks like it hasnt been cleaned for a long time. Cups and spills left on tables despite not many customers.The coffee is the same as ever other starbucks so coffee and food are ok. However the shop its self is filthy .

Coffee nice, upstairs is a pigsty, cups and plates left on the floor and most tables, and not cleaned up including the tables with spills. I was there at 4pm on a Thursday no queues and four staff all happy and chatting, but ignoring the mess upstairs. To make it worst there at least used to be a bin and a place to leave dirty cups, now gone. This is not the first time this Starbucks has been like this, it is very commonly like this. Will start going to Costa across from Starbucks, that looks clean

I always come here because its closeby to me but oh my days! They are soooo slow. Its a busy starbucks admittedly but you have to wait forever to get your drinks. There is always at least 8 or 9 people just standing around waiting for their order to be ready

Big shout out to Lauren , myren, Georgie. Honestly such lovely girls, made a fuss over me for my birthday and helped me with issues I had on my app. Did everything they could do to help. Amazing customer services :) happy customer

Go in every day I am at work in Silverburn. Staff really friendly, place very busy, but staff work through it quickly.

girl with half black half yellow hair was extremely rude to me when i asked her to add extra caramel drizzle on my coffee as i paid for it and she didnt do it correctly first time i asked politely and got laughed at as if i was silly. she then added the caramel drizzle which appeared to be all over my cup on the outside and just a mess wont b back

Ordered a Caramel Macha. Five people waiting before me. Conor mucked up 3 orders of the five customers waiting. This caused a backlog of customers waiting for their beverages.

My favorite is Ice caramel latte and add salted cream foaming on top. I tried many times but the staff said no. And until today. Im try my lucky. Staff take my oder she said: sorry i don't have salted cream And another girl come she said: i can do it. OMG . Her name is Cherifa (a beautiful girl) helped me make the drink I oder.. She so nice. Thank u so so much Cherifa. Xxx

Had a couple of unpleasant interactions with ‘Gail’ now where I have been made to feel like dirt on her shoe. She is in extreme need of a course teaching her customer service. She is awful to deal with. Not to mention, talking about me very apparently to her colleague whilst I was waiting on my drink! I will be taking this further if I experience her being this way again.

Just a normal starbuck but the upstairs seating area is great for working away

I would never use this establishment as I have been told that they fiddle the £@/ system..

Top marks for the Silverburn branch of Starbucks. Popped in today for a couple of sit in Christmas Drinks, friendly and quick service - nice relaxing atmosphere.

I went to silver burn in 2016 wanting a pink drink and you didn’t have it so add it on the menu.

Every time I'm here my order is wrong!! Staff spend too much time talking and carrying on amongst themselves to listen to the customers today it was petting a dog that was the distraction.

The coffee tasted like dishwater. The service was not good.

Good place to sit and watch the world go bye with a drink. Seating upstairs allows you to look out into the centre witha good bit of people watching.

The wifi is absolutely terrible and therefor not a good place to do work, mobile data signal is also limited in silverburn. Would enjoy doing work here with the coffee and the set up but no signal and no wifi make your stay pretty much pointless for working.

the best coffee in town, hands down. and the staff is awesome.. so friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

Love the coffee only complaint is the wait for the coffee u get served straight away but end up queuing for your coffee which was 11minutes too long

Good food Good service except tables were left for a while without being cleared. Toilet could do with a wee spruce up .But great place for people watching from upstairs

Slow service. Grumpy staff. Filthy tables and floors. Yellow tape everywhere indicating that repairs are needed. Not good enough Starbucks 😕

Starbucks in general have went right down hill in my opinion, the coffee and toasties are still great bit the shops are absolutely fifthly unfortunately. I won't be returning to this one in particular anytime soon

Always revoltingly dirty. Keep giving it a second chance but it is always filthy with tables and tables full of uncleared dishes

They serve you in paper cups even if you are sitting in . Sitting in is more like having coffe with trash scattered all over the place. Floors are slippery with grime.I don’t think if they ever clean that place. Bins over flowing and cups all over the place 🤢

Poor,poor,poor....arrived at 1530hrs...paper cups and the cinnamon swirl was hard...not be back.

My daughter loves it but I just think it's over priced and over hyped.

It met a need for a quick lunch. Wrap was quite doughy and the server at the counter didn't seem all that interested. OK value

WORST starbucks i’ve been to. Tables upstairs are filthy. Cups and dishes not taken away, just left lying there. Staff were friendly at tills but the baristas making our coffee looked miserable. I usually love our local starbucks, aka braehead and hillington. but this was one atrocious. Please do better starbucks.

I've been here quite a few times in the past and the service has always been exceptional and this time was no different. I use a wheelchair and the staff are always very helpful, thanks.

Staff are not friendly at all - they serve you coffee like they are making a favour to you! Sad face, lack of hospitality manners, when you go to sit upstairs, the tables are full of empty mugs...no one comes to clean or collect them - the customer needs to do this job themselves if they want to sit on a clean table - happen to me many times here - I only come here for the upstairs view as I find it relaxing..... advise: change your attitude to better and you will be praised for it!

Upstairs seating area is filthy and stinks of pee near the emergency exit, had to move seats as a result.

Asked to leave due to upstairs closing early halfway through a cup . Offered to sit downstairs not enough seats for all and tables dirty or have take away not very welcoming , we’ve taken your money we don’t care about you now

Dear Starbucks customer I was in Starbucks Glasgow , silverburn last night with my daughter like always minimum 4 times a week we visit Starbucks the surprise was yesterday from one of the stuff member her name Clog when my daughter asked her for cup of water and she refused as they do not give water i couldn’t believe what I heard I attend to her and asked again she said the they don’t give water because we are and I have the conversation recorded, I call to the store when I reach home and I spoke with the manager and told her what happened and she took my email and phone number and she never call back . Promise I will post everywhere possible and complain till I get reply.

Great place for a coffee and relaxation

The dirtiest Starbucks I’ve ever seen. Tables and tables covered in half empty cups. Visible time stamps on them from hours ago. Many areas visibly not been properly cleaned in ages (e.g. floors and stairwells). Well below the standard I would expect

Service is very slow - there are never enough staff on (although obviously not their fault!). The drinks and food are up to the usual Starbucks level.

Tables are never ever cleaned at this place. I've not been to this particular Starbucks in a long time and nothing has changed. As they say " some things never change". Furthermore, I had to wait approximately 12 minutes for a cup of latte when there wasn't even a proper queue. I wouldn't recommend this place for a coffee

Ordered a large cold brew latte with vanilla syrup on Justeat it arrived and it's cinnamon syrup cold brew latte, I'm allergic to cinnamon this is so dangerous it's not the first time this type of stuff has happened either, wrong labels on drinks , drinks in the wrong cups labels as another drink etc, hot drinks being made as iced drinks vice versa , really dangerous you need to do better and not mess up orders like this , people can be allergic or intolerant and you keep doing these simple mistakes over and over. Please do better

The waiting time once ordered took too long. Staff were working flat out but under staffed for a saturday

Coffee was weak and the place was filthy. Glass hadn't been cleaned in weeks an every table was Dirty and the floor was covered in food waste. Quite frankly the worst starbucks i've ever been in.

Starbucks in the Silverburn shopping centre NOT the cineworld one need to get their act together. No clean plates or cups today everything in paper bags and cups. If its staff shortages I'm sure there are plenty folk looking for work.

Worst service ever. Waited 25 minutes on drinks. Ordered a toastie too which they gave me 10 minutes into the order, which I refused as drinks weren't ready yet. Just as well I did. Then drinks were only half filling the cups by the time we sat down. Absolute disgrace

States on the window they're open til 2030 on Saturday, only to be told takeaway only. I mean, at least update the sign!

It's OK for a quick coffee. Narrow and difficult for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

Liked this shop a lot , beautiful smell as you near it to be honest worked in Glasgow airport and stupidly bought a round of coffee's once so was very apprehensive about taking my son for a birthday coffee ,no need served by a lovely patient girl behind the till,and my bank card came out unburned and unrobbed after 6 years would gladly go to a Starbucks again ,thanks and well done ...

More of a take out than sit in perhaps, but all the usual features and the same great drinks. Plenary of space for a wheelchair, but today I managed with my sticks and the seating is either very low or perch on a bar stool. Staff seemed helpful and polite and makes it good place to sit and stare out at the busy world.

It's your average run of the mill Starbucks. They have a decent selection of options, they also look after the place pretty well, it's clean and the people working there were nice and helpful. Costs as much as you imagine but that's Starbucks for you.

Incredibly slow service from workers that look heavily depressed. Filthy store, with spills and empty cups and napkins on most tables. Staff seem to have been moving in slow motion despite a growing queue ten deep. An all round bad environment to visit.

Filthy and messy Starbucks in Silverburn. Tables not cleaned with stains on them and chairs. Tray tables not cleared away.... not a one off and has been recently the same on every visit especially in upstairs section... Starbucks in the cineworld much cleaner

Though it is a lovely venue with polite staff, the quality of food and drink served here I find is just not up to par. The coffee was too strong and the milkshake was borderline undrinkable, muffin was dry and overcooked and the pain au Chocolat was solid and neither felt at all rewarding for the cost Overall, sadly, I cannot recommend this venue for any reason other than a place to chat.

Coffee was good, pastry was fine. Staff were shocking. They told me they would 'shout' when the coffee was ready and I was listening out for it and didn't hear them say my name and anyone's name I did hear was barely audible. When I went to politely say about not having my coffee yet the response was "yeah it is sitting at the end I shouted you ages ago" with a bad attitude from the blonde girl making the coffees. Well if you clearly see I haven't heard, is it really that much trouble to shout again or god forbid you actually have to approach a customer!!! Staff could seriously do with some training in this branch which is a shame as most starbucks staff are lovely.
