Starbucks in Peterborough

Pleasant, clean seating area. Light and bright. Toilets were clean. Just stopped briefly to get a take away tea. Car park. Noticed that there is a drive through service too.

I never liked Starbucks for coffee, peer pressure is what takes me here

It was the only place to stop, I don't really like them

I don't often post about chains because you usually get a consistent average experience but this starbucks we stop at quite a lot on our way to visit family and it always stands out from the other Starbucks we frequent for some reason. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Theres always plenty of room to park and sit. There are nice clean tables and toilets. They fill the cups generously and we always enjoy our visit.

I live in Essex Quite often I visit Yorkshire. And this is my most favourite place. No gathering Nice and quiet. You'll love it.

Always friendly and good opening times. They have a good range of food too.

Stopped for a quick break heading north on the A1. Found Starbucks to be modern, clean and welcoming (which is unusual for most of the A1 services). Staff were super friendly and I will use again when heading back up the A1 in the future. Plenty parking!

Ordered, told to wait in a bay. 15 minute wait, when everything arrived, coffee cold, sandwich not toasted, son’s drink wrong, no straw. Suggestions: at the point of ordering make the customer aware that there may be a wait at which point they can decide whether it’s worth missing an 8am appointment or not; if you forget to do that, make sure you deliver the correct order and that everything is warm at the very least. Very poor Starbucks.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Our car broke down on the way to York and AA only assisted by getting us to Starbucks car park. Customer service provided during this extremely stressful time for us was outstanding - they literally went above and beyond. We had coffes and hot chocolate. Everything was top notch. Thank you guys again- you’re the best!

Stop here on my drive home from Huntingdon to Melton Mowbray on a Saturday afternoon. Decided to use the drive through, rather than unload my wheelchair. Order a fruit cooler. It's disappointing that I had to park up and wait. Nobody was in front or behind me. However, the staff were fairly quick at delivering my drink to the car. They drink was nice and cold. Just what I needed to keep me going.

Pleasant staff, excellent service. With its back to the A1 it's surprisingly restful and quiet, with additional outdoor seating.

Whoever makes the cold brew. STOP ADDING SUGAR TO IT!!! Every time I get one from this Starbucks they're super sweet and weak. Some people actually want to taste coffee not sugar or syrup.

Staff nice, can't comment about food cos all I can have (gf) is crisps !! They dis continued the only item I could have which was the cheese and ham toasty and they were lovely. Refuse to take cash so I won't be using them any more, there are plenty of Costa places around that do !! I will not be TOLD I have to use my credit card, i will use it when i want to, CASH, USE IT OR WE WILL LOOSE IT !!

The staff were really great, the cappuccino good, but the toasties were limp and the seating stained and unattractive despite staff keeping surfaces clean. Expensive, as expected.

Quick stop on the A1 as a driving break. It was ok. Food selection limited, no cakes at all. An average visit for a quick coffee stop, nothing special.

As always Starbucks is a great place for a drink and a chat visit this place regularly and always enjoy it.

Very Very expensive 2 bacon rolls and 2 lattes £19.90 if I would have known the price I would've walked out, no prices on any of the food, some tables not wiped down, 1 toilet out of order, will not use this place again

Just been in for a clotted cream cold brew , took ages for it to be done and took a sip on the motorway once I’d left and it was absolutely horrendous and so bitter!! Tried to call to make a complaint and no number 1*

Was a little disappointed that my starbucks app doesn't work in the UK? Didn't have that problem anywhere else on my travels!!

I used to really like Starbucks. But now I think it's overpriced, it's rare you can find a clean table, the staff always seem to be having a private joke and seriously, stop asking for my name. Surely someone in the marketing department realised the whole name thing was a big mistake

I was served by Zach, he was very polite and patient with me because I'm dyslexic and can't pronouns the coffee names. Zach helped me find the coffee I wanted and made it with passion and enthusiasm. I would definitely recommend this Starbucks and ask for Zach to make you a coffee because he does it best. P.S. The toilets were super clean and there was loads of toilet paper.

If the toilet is a reflection of the rest of the operation here.... very disappointed that the two ladies I had in tow had to use napkins as there was no toilet paper available. When was the last time these facilities were checked I wondered ? I spent 10yrs working for a leading fast food company and the toilets are probably the most important facet that you face a customer with...bar looking into your kitchen ! Great location. Great coffee...but please, somebody needs to walk the store every 15 minutes to stay on top of stuff like this. 🙂

What can I say, stopped of here whilst working and the staff were amazing! For two hot motorcyclist the venue was cool and the staff were so friendly! Can’t fault them at all. Even the manager who was working stopped to talk about the bikes we were on. GREAT SERVICE all round

The lady who took my order this morning was nice, however instead of cold brew without milk the other lady made something that was half coffee and the top half was milk or clotted cream I presume? When I said I didn't want any milk in it, I ordered a cold brew without milk, she looked confused and remade it and this time it didn't have any milk, but when I tried it it didn't taste like an actual cold brew but like 4 or 5 shots of espresso with water on top of that. Was just pure bitterness. Also didn't have ice that it normally comes with. So she got it wrong twice. Staff needs training on what a cold brew actually is. Also if they are unsure which she evidently was, why not ask a customer to clarify but presume instead?? Kind of ruined my Saturday morning to be honest as I was really looking forward to a nice cup of cold brew on my drive. I doubt I will stop there ever again.

Long wait for coffee as they prioritised the drive through customers. Only two staff on. No identifier written on drinks. Had a 5 minute wait for my pastry after drinks were given to me as the servers were busy. They were recruiting for staff.

just stopped for a coffee and saw a caramel cold brew coffee so ordered it and there is no caramel in it what do ever!! tastes awful! for £5.20 for a small you’d expect to get the correct order

Visited yesterday, we had coffee, hot chocolate, sandwich, and a toasted cheese and ham sandwich. Although the sandwich was not out of date, the bread was not soft. The toilet was not clean.

Staff are very helpful..drinks are perfect..light building (most are normally dark I find) .. very dog friendly! only problem we have is the exit back onto the A1 as it can be a bit crazy at times!

Just stopped for a couple of takeaway coffees en-route from Norfolk to home. Lifesaver, really needed an excellent coffee, great service.

Called for 1 latte, just 1 and waited 20 minutes after ordering and paying, my husband came to see if i was ok! All the staff seemed to be busy with the drive through people. I understand that you've got to keep the cars moving. Cars were pulling up getting served and away, cars that came after me. Had I not paid I would've just left. Will not call at this Cambridgeshire Starbucks again.

Perfect little stop off enroute from Sussex to Lincoln during a rainstorm. Spotless toilets, lovely airy cafe with great views of open fields and amazingly friendly staff. Thanks Tom, you made my day! 😊🙏🏻

Bought coffee and cheese/ham toastie drive thru for £9 and and was disappointed with the toastie which was microwaved, sloppy, limp and disgusting. Had to throw it away. Not good and will not call again.

During a journey along the A1, this Starbucks proved to be a veritable oasis. Not only were the staff top-notch, but they even took it upon themselves to engage my son in a bit of lighthearted banter. It was the perfect pitstop – a welcome respite from the weary road, with a touch of family-friendly charm, not often found in modern business, thrown in for good measure.

Quick stop off for coffee and cake, nice staff, nice coffee and fresh cakes.

The last couple of visits have been ok, but today Tom was there. I have never had the pleasure of being served by him. He is welcoming, warm, and genuine, I appreciated his customer service.

Stopped for coffee and snack today at 4:40pm. There were crates of sandwiches piled up near the counter so they were evidently restocking. Pulled a H&C croissant off the fridge shelf and placed it near the till. It was being rung up when the manager intervened and said “sorry, we can’t sell you hot food at the moment”. When asked why, we were told “our midnight delivery for tomorrows stock arrived early, and if we sell it now it will mess with our computer”. We stared at him waiting for the “gotcha” but he was serious. Gobsmacked (& hungry) 😶🤦🏼‍♀️

Terrible experience, back and fourth with a coffee order being told they don’t have the Oat milk but then they don’t have caramel but they did have oat but not caramel. Asked for a wet latte to be given a venti which is half filled with foam and ask for another for him to moan and make another which is now filled 3/4 full and tastes terrible. Nobody inside or in the drive through with me and two staff are working so I don’t see the problem? Paying over £4 for a coffee so I don’t see why there is such a big problem. I go to Starbucks everyday so this is very disappointing.
