Service was a slower than I've experienced at other establishments (approximately twice as long for the wait for the order, and we were the only customers at the counter). The seating area was spotlessly clean, but the aircon was set a little low. I'm pretty good in the cold, but I even had to keep my jacket on. Someone must have commented 'cos in the last 5 minutes of our stay, the temperature improved.

First time visit to a Starbucks ordered a frappuccino and was given and drove away, 2 minutes later I had a drink and it tasted watered down as they had made it with crushed ice like the type you have in a slush. The frappaccinos I normally have are made with ice cubes not slush. Waste of money

I didn’t catch the names of the staff but whoever you had rota’d in at around 18:20 on the 01/03/25 they are the sweetest bunch and made my evening singing happy birthday to me and wishing me a happy birthday when going to collect my free birthday drink 🫶🏻 an absolute star bunch of people!! (May i also add this iced caramel macchiato is the best one i’ve had in so long!!)

The usual feel of a Starbucks. Consistently good coffee and foods. Quite a busy place at times which doesn't make the atmosphere feel cosy, but as they say ....it is what it is! Facilities are fine, as is free parking. Quite a large car park, but can be a little tricky if turning right out of the car park at peak times, as the joining road is at a busy junction. Easy access for wheelchair users and parking. Yes it has a drive through. Friendly staff and didn't wait too long for my drinks etc. Good amount of places inside for laptop use and phone charging etc Thank you

Nice looking store and it was clean tho at 07:30 you'd expect it to be. Had to remind barista it was whole milk, if they put blond roast in my coffee it is out of calibration 🤮, but I'm sure it was the normal roast they use. And to top it off it was more like a cappuccino than a latte. Please guys at this time on a morning you should be at top of your game. I'll be in later for a refund…..

I'm very thankful to Starbucks team as the bad weather hit Wakefield recently I got stuck in snow on a early Sunday morning just outside their premises before the main junction. I managed to get the car off the road just up the car park acces road when a lovely girl part of the staff offered her assistance if she can help me in anyway, even a coffee to brighten up my day. They borrowed me a scraper tool to create a parking space for the car as I was going nowhere; I eventually managed to set off a bit later with a wonderful cappuccino on the house; lovely people Thank you to every single one of you that gave me support that day. It has long been a mystery to me why people were fooled in Hans Christian Andersen's folktale The Emperor's New Clothes, to actually believe they COULD see his new clothes!!!! Well today I met the equivalent of this well-loved tale. My husband and I were asked to join some friends to have coffee at Starbucks on Heath Common. We both had reservations about this as we had only experienced coffee in Starbucks a good few years ago and were so under impressed by the tasteless coffee that this is the first time we have crossed a Starbucks threshold since then. We really do wish we could understand how so many people can bear to drink what can only be described as flavoured water and be happy to pay £3.34 for a small Americano. We both adore coffee and it is the only hot drink I have. We like it strong with no milk or sugar and know our coffee beans. To say we were appalled by what Starbucks serve is an understatement-how have they managed to garner such a following? Is it a fact, just as in Andersen's tale, that no one dare admit that they actually can't see what is good about it? To add to the ghastly coffee there is absolutely no atmosphere in the place-it resembles an aircraft hanger. The din from the scraping chairs and the volume of people's conversations (including ours because we had to raise our own voices to make ourselves heard between the four of us) and a young couple with an extremely loud barking dog which they obviously had no control over but seemed to find amusing, all added to a most unpleasant experience. I paid by card but was most surprised that my friend couldn't pay with cash. What on earth is that all about?I suppose Starbucks will say it's for staff safety because no cash is kept on the premises. In conclusion, Starbucks should get to the Greggs school of coffee making and anyone who doubts this should give it a whirl. You'll be most surprised if you actually are brave enough to taste real coffee.

Popped in to pick up a coffee. Staff came across rude and abrupt, offered to pay by cash and was bluntly told “card only” Waiting to collect my coffee when I couldn’t hear them say my name, approached and asked if this was my coffee, again very bluntly told “yes” I explained I couldn’t hear her call my name, just looked at me and then turned away and ignored me. Not a good experience.

Came here for a coffee and some pastries. The man who served us was pleasant and I sat down with the warm pastries whilst my husband waited for the coffee. We told them we were eating in and after 5 minutes we finally got our coffees in a takeout cup. By this point the pastries had gone cold and when my husband explained we were eating the man offered to pour them into regular cups which we declined. Considering what you pay it wasn't the greatest experience but the pastries were nice enough that I'm giving 4 stars.

We bought two Americanos one large and one small, with pooring cream which was added by the staff. Mine was the large and clearly had 2 shots of expresso rather than the four it should have. It was essentially cream and water, I could barely taste and coffee at all. I returned to the counter, I'm pretty sure he pretended to add additional coffee as it was handed back to me again. Regardless of the size of the cups starbucks.. you can see in this photo a substantiall difference in colour which should not be the case. We also asked for takeaway, and were given non takeaway cups. This isn't the first bad experience I have had in Starbucks, your staff just don't seem like they care. Paying £8 for two coffees when, Cafe Nero aces it every time means I'll go out of my way to drink at your competitors, because simply put, the consistently deliver better drinks. Photo included.

This is one of the places I usually run to, and seem to always enjoy but not today. Today was the first time I’ve been unhappy with the customer service. One of the employed seemed to have an attitude towards me, not sure why? Time 09:23:18. I ordered a “Venti Strawberry Acia Refresher” she didn’t warn me that they’d run out of the actual strawberries 🍓, I had my own Starbs cup, so I handed it to her, of which she gave me half of the drink claiming it’s a Venti, complete filled it with just ICE! For £5+ so I told her to remove the ice and top it up, removing the ice, it wasn’t even a full small cup. I asked her to top it up to the full Venti (there’d still be room for ice with my own cup) but guess what! She literally offered to just add more lemon instead. so I basically paid £5+ for pink lemonade.. it was awful but I pretended, left it and sat down like it was all okay. I then decided to order the same drink, but another employee served me this time. That one too didn’t have the actual strawberries 🍓 (I was already aware of this but they’d just had a delivery,) or at least charged less if some of the ingredients are out of stock. The whole point of ordering another drink, was to see what they do differently. I got no apologies, and neither did they think to offer a different/ similar drink. Even though I’ve had good experiences in the past, today’s customer service involved two different employees with just one worse than the other. First of all she could have given me a full drink to make up for the missing ingredients, apologised for not telling me in advance and mainly her (first CS)’s attitude made the whole experience worse. Imagine I’d only gone there to make my day better it made it even worse.

Love Starbucks anyway, this one recently built and is right next to the main road for very easy access. Has a drive thru for those who need to get going. The place inside is very spacious and open. Cool AC and the atmosphere is quiet , perfect for a chat with friends/family or if you need a quiet space for some work. I did some of my business work here - not the first time and won't be the last. Great place 👍

They don't do just filtered coffee here as they said it isn't popular. I found that starnge as all starbucks do just filtered coffee so I ahd to order something else.

Easter Monday I was waiting at the intercom at the drive thru and It was raining at the time. I was waiting and waiting to have my order taken. Rain was wetting me because I had to keep the window down in to hear the intercom. Even down a little let rain in. Some kind of rain shelter would be a good idea instead of this poxy grill they have above which does nothing to stop rain entering you car. I may as well have driven with the top down. Ultimately I got tired of getting wet and just left.

Great position for a Starbucks as there's absolutely nothing else around in this area. Great, friendly and efficient service Beautiful latte and fruit toast I fully enjoyed my first visit and would fully recommend I would.have given 5 stars But: I dropped a star for not accepting UK currency which I personally do in my business. You could just pay it into a machine like at the supermarket if you don't trust your staff Also I wasn't able to use my data on my phone and had to use the WiFi? wanted 0 stars but couldn’t do guess 1 will do. got to the door already annoyed with the sign saying ‘card payments only’‘ no cash taken’ which is a legal tender btw. staff was very rude, i asked for an iced drink and i was told ‘it’s not working we can’t make them’ not even a sorry, terrible customer service. no prices on cups, unlike every other store. highly do not recommended ruined the end of the day with the rude service and over all rubbish store.

I went for a cup of tea while waiting for my wife doing a visit at the hospital. The Tea was no more than warm water. You can not call it a cup of tea more like a half pint of boiled water with a tea bag at a price that is ridiculous. The tea bag just coloured the water as there was no taste. A complete rip off and waste of money, over £4 for a tea and a packet of crisps.

Called this evening with my son and had a nice warm welcome from the staff. Both ordered steak dinner each and it came out very quickly which surprised me as it was very busy with few tables empty. Both cooked really well, plenty of food and nice and hot. Puddings also lovely and don’t break the bank, will be back soon.

Pretty basic Takeaway food, if you like your run-of-the-mill takeaway food, this won't disappoint. This is no YOH Burger, but then again YOH is incredibly pricey

Pancake rolls were spicy which I’ve never experienced at any Chinese restaurant or takeaway. The special black bean was reminiscent of slurry, very thick and sparse of meat and prawns. Delivery driver was rude stating “ I want payment first cause I don’t know you and you could run off with it and if you don’t pay I don’t get paid “. Used wonderful for years and recommended to others but very disappointed!!

Not surprised this restaurant has closed. They describe their cuisine as fine dining but they obviously do not understand what fine dining is. Slow service, dreadful pizza with undercooked dough (how come they can't produce a good pizza in an Italian restaurant?), tough chicken, lukewarm vegetables. Poor choice for vegetarians.
