My nephew Ricky has Cerebral Palsy and love this Starbucks. He goes there with his carers almost every day and if he doesn’t go he misses it dearly. I went today with him and was amazed at the way he is treated. He has difficulty with his speech and not many people can understand him when they first meet him. We used the drive through and he insisted he was going to ask or his coffee!!! I couldn’t even pronounce it!!!! I was driving and Rick was in the passenger seat so he lent over and made the order! Straight away the staff recognised his voice and knew what he wanted. To make things even better they even wrote a personal message on his cup!!!! I’d just like to say thank you to everyone at Hankridge Starbucks for treating my nephew this way and making him feel special!!! Well done to all of you!!!! 🙏🙏🙏

I’ve been to this branch a few times. The staff have been quick and efficient and there have been lots of tables free on each visit. The branch is bright and airy and a much more comfortable experience than other Starbucks branches and a nearby competitor. If I lived closer I would go there more often.

NOT DOG FRIENDLY! Despite Starbucks being KNOWN as a dog-friendly establishment and I've been all over the UK with my quiet, sweet, friendly, well-bahaved dog the Starbucks in Taunton asked me to leave as soon as I walked in. Upon leaving, I check their door and there was NO SIGN saying 'no dogs allowed' etc. I was looking for somewhere to work with my dog for the day, and have endless coffee and snacks to get a big project done. In the last Starbucks they even brought my dog Lola her own Pupcup each time I ordered! In Taunton I was met with a rude "excuse me we don't allow dogs in here, you'll have to leave". I hadn't even sat down! No "hello"! No offer to let me order to takeaway. So rude and unfriendly. On principle I will never vist that branch again if that's the caliber of staff they have working there. You lost a lot of business and good amount of money today by turning me away.

I ordered two coffees and when requesting sugar, I was told they had none. A coffee shop, without being able to supply basic condiments. Extremely poor

Ordered a Black Americano and a White one for my wife to go. When we were travelling my wife said her white coffee did not taste of anything let alone coffee. When I tried my Black Americano I found it to be absolutely tasteless. We stopped the car and poured the coffee away and binned the cups later. After paying over £6.00 for two coffee's not impressed at all and won't ever call in there again!

Awful experience. Rushed thru at counter...there was no queue. Person serving barked at me. I got very flustered and became upset. Was glared at. Poor selection of cakes. Cafe had obviously been busy tables were left uncleared, cake and crumbs everywhere. ScreMing children throwing toys etc. Floor was filthy. Acoustics are appalling in the seating area. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. Not what I expect from Starbucks. Won't be going again.

Was looking forward to a Starbucks cuppa at the newish location. Well don't bother going here, they don't care about customers. I was the only one waiting to be served and it must have taken about 5-10 minutes before anyone pretended to notice me and serve (there were about 5 of them). Then, once they take your order, there's no thanks for waiting or thanks for your order or telling you that where you order will be when it's ready (in a small corner location). They just turn their backs and carry on doing what they were doing before you came in, our ignorance. Oh, and if you order a cake, then this is separate......they shout your surname to collect the drink and then again when the cake is ready. Totally disorganised and a lack of customer service skills. To cap it all, the place is filthy. They can't use the excuse that 'it was busy the morning you visited etc', the floors are covered in dirt around the edges and they have definately not been cleaned for days. I will not be going back.
