I think star moon has new owners. This is the second meal I have had and tonight there was hardly any meat in my meal. It was chopped up so small I could hardly see it and I found 1 prawn. Joke. I won't be going again

What’s gone wrong here had a lot of meals from here and always very satisfied, tonight we thought we would treat ourselves to what we thought was going to be very enjoyable but to our dismay it was totally inedible,when it arrived it was only lukewarm the salt & pepper ribs tasted of curry and the ribs was tiny bits and very fatty my husband ordered fish chips & mushy peas the chips was awful and the peas was very hard they wasn’t mushy like thought the chow mien was bland so everything went in the bin won’t be having anymore star moon meals the quality has really gone downhill, if you want a nice Chinese meal order from Chinese restaurant like chi na garden best food ; we’ve lost all faith in star moon

Been recommended Star Moon by a few people but the reviews put me off. We were having family round for my Birthday so, on the Monday my husband and I got a Chinese meal each and a portion of chips we were really impressed, on the Tuesday we ordered 6 difficult Chinese meals and some seaweed, chips and spring rolls for everyone. We all really enjoyed our top quality, perfectly cooked meals. It's definitely our new favourite Chinese, lovely customer service too, nice clean premises and excellent value for money. The food is great. Not had a bad meal from here and the portions are huge. I would recommend collecting your food though as the delivery is great but I'm guessing that's down to them being popular.

Been looking for a new Chinese takeaway as we have been disappointed by mediocre meals. Had the Star Moon recommended and have visited several times now. We have tried a variety of meals and every one has been superb.

shame a 2 hr wait for delivery, and bad poor apology, had to ring to chase up couldn’t locate order? Then said it was with the driver? More waiting time in total 2.5hrs wait is not acceptable for any fast food outlet and should at least offer good will gesture. Staff didn’t seem to bothered.

This is by far the best Chinese we’ve had in the area delivered. All the food we have ever ordered has been delivered fast, arrives hot and is delicious. Very shocked that anybody is writing bad reviews because we have been using them regularly and never had a problem. I would recommend to anyone.

Had a delivery because I didn't feel like cooking. I got chicken with ginger and spring onions with chips. As soon as I saw the chips I knew they were going to be awful. So greasy. They tasted horrible, like they had been recooked again. They were really oily. I only ate one or two. The chicken was very chewy like it had been boiled. The whole plate of food had a strange taste to it. I left 3/4 of it and no chucked it in the bin. My husband had chicken and mushroom with fried rice. The fried rice was just OK. The chicken was like mine. Not too good. All in all it tastes like most of the ingredients were not totally fresh. Plus point. It arrived within 20 of ordering. I certainly will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered and collected from here last night. Prawn toast very good as were the garlic and chilli ribs, best I’ve had for ages. Won ton noodle soup, king prawn ginger and spring onion and special chow mien all excellent. Piping hot with plenty of prawns/meat. Tasted great. Best Chinese Chippy in the town by far in my opinion 👍🏻

Had a couple of takeaways from here, great service, plenty of food. I'm afraid it's not for me, the meals I feel have a certain taste, must be the cooking oil. This doesn't mean others won't like it, it has good reviews.

I don’t really like Chinese food before, but my husband love it.he ordered some Chinese food from star moon last night,it is very nice, especially the salt & pepper chicken and beef curry,they are so tasty,just can’t believe it .order comes fast,I will definitely make order from star moon Chinese,would be the first choice if I want to eat some Chinese food

We've eaten many times from the Star Moon and it's always been great. The food last night was cold, bland and very greasy. We had a plate of food each and threw the rest away. We'll be giving the Star Moon a break for a while if this is the quality of the food for now. Really disappointed.

Awful! Went on after seeing good reviews, but it was expensive, delivery took nearly an hour and food was dire. Mix salt n pepoer starter (£9) was very dry and far too salty. Chicken wings, dry and tasteless, ribs almost inedible. Plenty of chicken in the foo Yung but again, ruined by salt. Fried rice salty and curry sweet and bland. Won’t be using again!

Fast and efficient service good and different options and in particular the " salt and pepper" offerings vibrant environment and food hit the spot!

1st time here order via just eat app, It was great, order all correct, came within the time .Will deffo use again.I have very fussy eaters and all 3 of them ate everything,so thats a bonus in our house.My brothers goes all the time and kept telling me how nice the food was,so we gave it a try, we were very happy with his recommendation.

Great,Just been recommended by my friend last month ,and been try last week ,We are really happy to order from STAR MOON CHINESE SHOP,best CHINESE food in town,they are so busy when we order,but all try the best to serve their nice food ,we stay there to pick up food about 20 min ,as many order ,but they all work hard ,we like it also Because they serve NICE FRESH food and CHIPS ,FAST FOOD easy shop and online order - all the food let us feeling nice for my family,We have ordered 70 pound for family party ,fast and easy to order ,happy about it .definitely will come back to order soon,we have recommend our friend to try,good takeaway shop for our party night.

Love this place rice is amazing always nice friendly staff prices are reasonable good choices on the menu.

Normally great food. Had the mixed meet salt and pepper but was poor. Half of the meal appeared to be old, tough and dry.

Have used this takeaway regularly and the last two occasions have been awful... Fatty and salty sad as was our favourite won't be using again.

the price is low but the standard of food is good and its the only chinese takeaway that I've visited where all the staff wear a uniform hair nets and hats

Probamos la estrella luna como un cambio en nuestro lugar habitual, ninguna razón para algo diferente.

Pedimos de nuevo y tengo que decir que fue excelente como de costumbre el tiempo de entrega fue rápido y la comida estaba caliente y sabroso que pedimos regularmente desde esta llevar y no recuerdo haber una mala comida.
