Star Grill in Ipswich

Have always ordered from here in the past and has been a great choice but today after being away for 6 months I decided to order and it was awful. Chips have changed and were extremely soggy and kebab had no flavour, only decent thing was the salad. Definitely won’t be back

Food was great but the drink I ordered was missing

Portion size is a joke £22.50 for a meal for 2 that literally was enough meat for one person. Won't be using again. Absolute rip off compared to other kebab shops in the area.

don’t know what your playing at as where my order!?? i waited since 9.20 as notifications said on the way.. i waited til 9.45 as still nothing… so u need to updated a true trustable drivers.. 🤷‍♂️

The food was good and delicious to eat driver was nice and polite and I recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy there food this place is really good

Chicken was nice but could have been warmer. The chilli sauce needs to be more runny as there clumps of it instead of a sauce. Having said this I’d order again. Thank you.

Posts different opening times on different platforms, leaves themselves as open on JustEat, accepts the order, then cancels it. Now don't have the money in the bank to do another order and have to wait 3 days for the money back, thanks for absolutely nothing guys!

The food was good the chicken was juicy it was so nice the wrap good chicken quality and it tasted good so I recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy there food.

Great food and delivered on time

Completely messed up my order of a doner wrap meal! And my partners order of a doner kebab! Ended up with a burger bun with doner meat and partner didn't get chili peppers and asked for no salad! The people before hand got their orders fine... Sadly won't use this place again.

Hadn’t ordered for a while from here and chose to give it a go. Pizza was thin crust. I did leave a note for deep pan. They should’ve called to clarify. They used to do deep pan so perhaps it’s changed. Thin crust pizza also gets cold quicker which was unfortunate so it arrived just about warm. Now onto the good part: despite arriving just about warm and think crust, the food itself tasted good. I might be being harsh as I was expecting a deep pan pizza. Overall, it was good quality food.

Awful ordered and paid 5.30pm £30 told 6.30-6.50 delivery then it was delayed until 7.30 and still not here no answer from restaurant will never use again

Wasn't a very good pizza, made it considerably worse by being luke warm and not the freshest.

Unfortunately, always order from star grill. Tonight, bloody awful. Ordered two chicken kebabs with pepper, onion and mushrooms. 2 mushrooms, 1 slice of pepper and a couple of onions. Pitta bread had been toasted and was hard. And chicken had a tandoori colour and taste. Totally not upto standard.

don’t know why change the container for extra large size & my pitta bread on the outside as super dry’??? i prefer traditional underneath with the grease’… so i be ordering less & less these days..

They forget my Pepsi but delivered after 5 minutes. They sorved the problem very quick.

Ordered 2 chicken kebabs and chips. The kebabs were OK but the chips were disgusting and really chewy like they had been reheated or old. Chilli sauce is quite dry.

Ordered food few mins ago. Very well cooked food that came pipping hot. The burger was really juicy and kofte kebab, chicken wings were delish. I found the fried chicken a bit salty but it could be my taste buds.. I definitely recommend this takeaway.

Food was awful!! Ordered a large chips, not a full box. Kebab wrap wasn’t eaten, as tasted funny! 4 pieces of chicken in other kebab! Really poor food, won’t order again.

The worst kebab I’ve ever tried to eat, totally inedible, lumps of congealed fat covered it when it arrived and when I bit in to a piece of bone in the donner meat both kebabs went in the bin waste of £23

Ordered once before from star grill, the first time my food was fine. This time my food was unedible. I couldn’t even bit my chicken burger, it was terrible!

Through my own mistake I had to alter the order from collection to delivery and Star Grill changed it for me effortlessly. Great pizza arrived swiftly and the driver was polite and courteous. Very impressed indeed.

Took 1 hour and 20 mins to arrive when only 5 min drive away, when finally did arrive food and cold and chewy very disappointing don’t recommend!!

The food was delivered at the latest quoted time, barely warm and just not as good as it normally is. It may have been an off day for them or the guy that delivered it was new but wasn't too happy with this last order. Think I'll have a break from ordering here until things get back to the way they have been.

Unfortunately food was cold, not nice, we have ordered from Star Grill a number of times and normally the same Kebabs but today was not good.

Took an hour an a half to get here, burger and chips wrapped with cold cans in the same bag so were half cold. Cheese and chips was mostly cold and the cheese has formed a brick. Disappointing.

The food was amazing especially the special chicken kebab it was lovely! The chicken was nice and soft, food was nice at hot, good size portions!

Delivery took a while, but understandable on a Saturday night. Food was a bit cold on arrival but was very tasty nonetheless. And lovely pitta. Wow.

Must have been a bad day Chips hard and cold and pizza Wrap was hard but contents cold and slimy just a green mush. Wings were soggy and also cold. Very disappointed
