Stanley's Bar & Restaurant in Carlisle

Had my wife's 50th Birthday party here lovely venue we brought our own food and entertainment great location lovely venue for around 40 people Staff were wonderful drinks reasonably priced. Wife loved it 😄

Appalling place, service dreadful and the staff need lessons in customer service. Avoid

4 of us visited for bottomless brunch, we had a great time. There is a really good variety of cocktails and drinks included, and the food was good too. They were really attentive when asking us if we would like more drinks and brought a few rounds of shots round too. We would definitely recommend and will be visiting again ourselves, thank you!

Came today whilst waiting for the train. Very close to the train station. Beautiful pub, brilliant atmosphere and down to earth prices, lovely landlord and staff. They couldn't do enough for us. Very clean pub and the beer is gorgeous due to correct temperature, clean glasses and clean lines. I would highly recommend.

If you want bad service then get yourself here. Went to buy a cocktail but customers in front of us buying the same which was fine. After that decided to clear tables and talk to other people while waiting while I was waiting. Just left.

Went to Stanley's bar before and after the football match. The atmosphere was electric. Ste the owner was a fantastic host he was so welcoming. He even gave us complimentary drinks. Definately a bar to visit when in Carlisle. Well done Ste. Julie and John from Bolton xx

Liam the barman made our visit amazing, made the best cocktails in Carlisle and was so pleasant to serve you. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Love Anne & Andrea x

Lovely bottomless brunch. Food was really nice as were the cocktails. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return 😁

Go if you like loud music but not a great eatery as the music means you can’t chat over food :( we had a table booked T 7pm but had to leave and sadly that meant we struggled to find a table elsewhere I gave feedback but no response sadly

Food was awesome! The ‘small plates’ are huge so great value for money too

On a girls night we all had a couple of sharing plates each and a cocktail, food was beautiful and portions were great. Staff were lovely and the overall cost was excellent value. Cocktails were great and plenty of alcohol in them . We will definitely return 😊

Had the tapas dishes here. Food was fantastic. Staff were full of smiles. Interior really cool & inviting. 5 star
